RAISING CHILDREN IN THE USA SUCKS

Few things piss me off more than progressive socialist democrats, those who hate our magnificent and exceptional country, and those who are all about pointing out America’s perceived failings. Of course, there is a particular dislike for those who aggregate numbers that they use to advance a negative narrative.

Consider this New York Post article based on a lifestyle website that has crunched some numbers and has come to the conclusion that America is not all that friendly to those wanting to raise children.

US ranked among worst countries to raise a family, study says

We get an “F” for family.

In case you thought America wasn’t experiencing enough turmoil of late, the United States has been named the second-worst wealthy nation in which to raise a family in 2020, according to new research by travel site Asher & Lyric.

“The first time I looked at the data, I was in disbelief,” co-founder Lyric Benson-Fergusson said of the findings in the “Raising a Family Index” (RAFI).

The Los Angeles-based mother of two started the site with her Aussie husband, Asher Fergusson, to help people “stay safe, healthy, and happy at home and while traveling,” per the website’s description.

To determine the most and least family-friendly countries, the couple rated 35 OECD countries (part of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development forum) according to safety, happiness, cost, health, education and time.

The US clocked in at an abysmal 34th place, just ahead of last-place finisher Mexico, whose murder rate jumped to the highest in nearly two years as drug cartels have run amok during the coronavirus lockdown. Leading the pack of overall fam-safe nations were Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Finland.

“I think if we, as Americans, are truly honest with ourselves, we might understand why the United States ranks solidly as the second-worst country to raise a family,” said Benson-Fergusson.

[OCS: To my way of thinking, whenever you see the words “honest” or “truth” used by a progressive media outlet, it is a red flag. I turn on my bullshit detector and prepare to re-visit the talking points of the progressive socialist democrats.]

Case in point: The red-white-and-blue came in dead last in terms of time — which the RAFI gauged by maternity leave, vacation days and other factors — and cost, as measured by out-of-pocket health spending, cost of living, income ratio and more.

[OCS: How many of those countries have a smaller, more homogenous population, more socialist and union-dominated governance, and generally do not have people tearing down their borders to enter the country?]

The study noted that the US is the only country that doesn’t require employers to offer maternity leave. Even worse, the average household blows 31.79% of their income on child care compared to the 4 to 10% spent by Scandinavian nations.

[OCS: Comparing the United States to Scandinavian nations is like comparing apples to motorcycles.]

Most surprising was America’s global safety rating, which was, according to the research, the second-poorest after Mexico.

Despite statistics showing that reported crimes have been on the decline nationwide, the US homicide rate is still eclipsed only by Mexico, per the research. And America reportedly tops the list in school shootings with a whopping 288 incidents from 2009 to 2018, with Mexico placing second at eight and all other countries recording zero, per the study.

[OCS: One, the crime statistics are fudged and do not accurately reflect the fact that most of the homicides are disproportionately located in the inner cities governed by progressive socialist democrats under the most stringent gun control regulations. Ironically, gun possession by felons or illegal aliens is rarely punished, criminals are released back into communities, and drug gangs rove the inner cities at will.

Two, it appears that school shootings have more to do with middle income white teens and young adults who are frequently prescribed psychotropic medicines and have severe mental health issues. Noteworthy is the fact that the inner cities, awash with guns – even fully automatic weapons – do not spawn school shootings by blacks or other minorities.

If you were serious about gun-related crime, you would lock up the criminals and prevent easy-peasy plea bargains of gun-related charges. ]

The Land of the Free also came in “fourth-worst” for human rights — here defined broadly across several categories including “protection against enslavement, the right to free speech and the right to education.”

[OCS: Last time I checked China had at least one-million Uyghurs in concentration camps, engaged in organ harvesting from unwilling participants, used child labor, and was a totally repressive regime. There is no question about free speech in the United States so that claim is bullpucky. As for the right to education, I seem to remember that public school is mandatory, low-cost community colleges abound, and it is the radical progressive democrats that are pushing “free college.”]

The Fergussons attributed the United States’ nationwide mood dip to record “income disparities,” 20% of Americans suffering from mental health issues each year and a suicide rate that has “increased by 33% between 1999 to 2017.”

[OCS: Made worse by the repressive actions of progressive socialist democrats. As for income disparities – I will address that below in my own version of an infographic chart.]

“I have come to the heartbreaking conclusion that America is a deeply challenged and troubled country,” Benson-Fergusson lamented. “It doesn’t, and maybe never did, line up with its own ideology.”

My aspiration is that something will substantially change in my children’s lifetime,” she said. <Source>

[OCS: Pack your dissatisfied ass up and move to one of the “better” countries on your list. Additionally, if you notice, the inner cities and many major metropolitan areas have been governed by progressive democrats for decades with little or no improvement – and voting for these miscreants is unlikely to change anything in the future.

For the New York Post: It seems that your Marx-spouting communist Mayor and idiot-governor are rapidly destroying New York while all of you useful idiots clap and claim America is such a bad place.

Check it out for yourself …   Raising a Family Index.

rafc

After reading this, I am convinced that anyone can pull numbers out of their ass, so I decided to make my own infographic, which roughly corresponds to Pareto’s Principle, better known as the 20/80 rule…

pareto-usa

My conclusions are simple:

(1) It sucks to be poor – even though the most impoverished American is likely to be far richer than many of the poorest individuals in other nations. (I have always wondered where the poor got their iPhones and large-screen televisions.)

(2) Human nature is based on inequality (weak vs. strong, smart vs. dumb, able vs. disabled, rich vs. poor, etc.) and that the only thing equal about socialism and communism is shared misery.

Bottom line…

Get on with your badass and depart from the nation to the communist paradise of your choosing. Perhaps, China, Russia, Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, or any of the strict Muslim countries will be more to your liking. Try out your free speech and demand your rights to maternity leave, healthcare, and free school.

We are so screwed.

THE ELITE POOHBAHS WANT TO USE A CRISIS TO IMPLEMENT SOCIALISM/COMMUNISM...

Is this the world you want to hand to your children?

reset-generational

If you believe that all of the grand poohbahs of politics, commerce, and wealth simply attend the expensive World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland, to see and be seen, you are wrong. They are there in a quasi-social setting to be indoctrinated into global socialism.

Consider one of the WEF’s latest articles, “Now is the time for a ‘great reset”…

They start off parroting Rahm Emanuel’s famous dictum, “In every crisis, there is an opportunity”

NOW IS THE TIME FOR A ‘GREAT RESET’

There are many reasons to pursue a Great Reset, but the most urgent is COVID-19. Having already led to hundreds of thousands of deaths, the pandemic represents one of the worst public-health crises in recent history. And, with casualties still mounting in many parts of the world, it is far from over.

This will have serious long-term consequences for economic growth, public debt, employment, and human wellbeing.

All of this will exacerbate the climate and social crises that were already underway. Some countries have already used the COVID-19 crisis as an excuse to weaken environmental protections and enforcement. And frustrations over social ills like rising inequality – US billionaires’ combined wealth has increased during the crisis – are intensifying.

[OCS: Let us not forget, the climate change effort was all about taking control of a nation’s economy and overriding its sovereignty. Many of the proposed environmental protections do nothing to change the climate but were naked power grabs.

I find it deeply ironic that Marxist class warfare and wealth inequality are being served up to the billionaires and multi-millionaires in the status-seeking audience with a wink-and-a-nod that their elite status will protect them from the ravages of any global reset into socialism.]

Left unaddressed, these crises, together with COVID-19, will deepen and leave the world even less sustainable, less equal, and more fragile. Incremental measures and ad hoc fixes will not suffice to prevent this scenario. We must build entirely new foundations for our economic and social systems.

[OCS: I wonder how many of those monarchs, dictators, and technology billionaires really want a more equal world? If that was true, why do the tech billionaires pay their systems engineers more than janitors? Why do Saudi princes tear around Beverly Hills in new Ferraris while their fellow citizens starve? And, for the numerous Communist Chinese in attendance, how about those Uighurs?

When Europeans speak of new foundations, it is almost always a reference to a new form of failed socialism – this time under their guidance to ensure success.]

The level of cooperation and ambition this implies is unprecedented. But it is not some impossible dream. In fact, one silver lining of the pandemic is that it has shown how quickly we can make radical changes to our lifestyles. Almost instantly, the crisis forced businesses and individuals to abandon practices long claimed to be essential, from frequent air travel to working in an office.

[OCS: People were afraid for their lives, made more urgent by sometimes false and misleading government statements amplified by the media. To believe Americans would voluntarily cede their constitutional rights to the government post-crisis is to surrender our nation to the global socialists and communists, often one in the same thing.]

Likewise, populations have overwhelmingly shown a willingness to make sacrifices for the sake of health-care and other essential workers and vulnerable populations, such as the elderly. And many companies have stepped up to support their workers, customers, and local communities, in a shift toward the kind of stakeholder capitalism to which they had previously paid lip service.

[OCS: People do sacrifice and assist others in a genuine existential crisis, but not in a phony crisis ginned-up by some European socialists.

For those who are unfamiliar with the term “stakeholder capitalism,” it is a term designed to grant decision-making input and power to those who do not create or invest in enterprises. Management is accountable to their Board of Directors and their investors, not their employees, unions, or members of the community.]

Clearly, the will to build a better society does exist. We must use it to secure the Great Reset that we so badly need. That will require stronger and more effective governments, though this does not imply an ideological push for bigger ones. And it will demand private-sector engagement every step of the way.

[OCS: Stronger governments are more authoritarian governments that tend to curtail individual rights and freedoms. Yes, these governments will DEMAND private-sector engagement at the risk of fines, incarcerations, or in extreme cases, armed force.]

The Great Reset agenda would have three main components. The first would steer the market toward fairer outcomes. To this end, governments should improve coordination (for example, in tax, regulatory, and fiscal policy), upgrade trade arrangements, and create the conditions for a “stakeholder economy.” At a time of diminishing tax bases and soaring public debt, governments have a powerful incentive to pursue such action.

[OCS: A fair market implies an agreement between a willing buyer and seller. The fair outcome these socialists propose is to siphon-off a significant portion of the profits to support an incompetent and inefficient government bureaucracy and fuel their ability to engage in the type of wealth redistribution that translates into political power to keep them in charge of the dunghill. One would assume that governments would first curtail unnecessary spending and shed non-essential personnel and waste, fraud, and abuse.]

Moreover, governments should implement long-overdue reforms that promote more equitable outcomes. Depending on the country, these may include changes to wealth taxes, the withdrawal of fossil-fuel subsidies, and new rules governing intellectual property, trade, and competition.

[OCS: This is most definitely not free nor fair markets. This is wealth confiscation and redistribution.]

The second component of a Great Reset agenda would ensure that investments advance shared goals, such as equality and sustainability. Here, the large-scale spending programs that many governments are implementing represent a major opportunity for progress. The European Commission, for one, has unveiled plans for a €750 billion ($826 billion) recovery fund. The US, China, and Japan also have ambitious economic-stimulus plans.

[OCS: A word-salad signifying nothing but confiscatory taxes and wealth redistribution.]

Rather than using these funds, as well as investments from private entities and pension funds, to fill cracks in the old system, we should use them to create a new one that is more resilient, equitable, and sustainable in the long run. This means, for example, building “green” urban infrastructure and creating incentives for industries to improve their track record on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics.

[OCS: Well, there goes your pension fund. There are no green and sustainable projects that are profitable without government subsidies and mandated usage. Consider Ethanol, which damages vehicle engines, raises food prices, and is little more than another farm subsidy to capture votes from agribusiness.]

The third and final priority of a Great Reset agenda is to harness the innovations of the Fourth Industrial Revolution to support the public good, especially by addressing health and social challenges. During the COVID-19 crisis, companies, universities, and others have joined forces to develop diagnostics, therapeutics, and possible vaccines; establish testing centers; create mechanisms for tracing infections; and deliver telemedicine. Imagine what could be possible if similar concerted efforts were made in every sector.

[OCS: This happens naturally and without government intervention – except in the largest of the major cooperative projects where the costs of innovation are socialized and paid for by public funds, and the profits are privatized and siphoned-off by major institutions and corporations.]

To read more bullpucky and poppycock, visit the World Economic Forum.

Bottom Line...

When the elite academics, especially those from Europe, start lecturing Americans on the necessity to cede our constitutional freedoms, it is time to tell them to shut up and step off. As for the tech billionaires, there is always the opportunity to impose anti-monopoly fines and break-up orders that would promote a “fairer outcome” for smaller enterprises. The sword cuts both ways.

The legislation already is in place to allow bail-ins where a depository institution uses their depositor’s money to avoid a failure requiring a government bail-out, a provision for negative interest rates at the Federal Reserve, and the mechanism to capture a Wall Street transition tax. And, if the progressive socialist democrats sweep control of the government, these are likely scenarios.

We are so screwed.

SCAMS: HERPES AND THE DEMOCRATS

If there is anything I hate worse than the radical progressive socialist democrats who are trying to fundamentally transform our nation’s healthcare system, it is the purveyors of medical information which make outrageous claims that give false hope to disease sufferers.

Especially those who are ill-informed or who are suffering enough to try anything, no matter how outrageous or unlikely. Many sold as either medical secrets that are being suppressed by physicians or the big pharmaceutical companies.

If there were treatments that were both cheap and effective, it would be well-known to the medical community and recommended without hesitation by physicians whose goal is to care for their patients.

Bottom line…

There are relatively few medical miracles and many of them come from anecdotal accounts by individuals who may believe they have been cured – mostly instances of the placebo effect. Medical researchers compete to publish theeir ground-breaking results in journals, not hide them in cheesy books. Some of the cures involve compounds associated with animal or human research studies, but the advertised supplements may only provide a trace amount of an investigational substance – not the actual dose needed to achieve a therapeutic result.

Anybody who believes that there is an alternative to conventional medicine can be scammed. Consider Apple’s Steve Jobs, smart, rich, and having access to the finest healthcare in the world. He believed that diet could cure his pancreatic cancer. Unfortunately he delayed seeking conventional medical care – and it killed him, possibly sooner rather than later.

I have two pieces of advice that might save your life. One, according to the Better Business Bureau, you should always INVESTIGATE BEFORE YOU INVEST. And two, vote for the GOP in 2020 to avoid destroying the healthcare system as we know it. Under the radical progressive socialist democrats, healthcare delivery will not get better, but uniformly worse. Think of a Medicaid welfare program for all. If you believe that the government can manage healthcare, consider what they have done to our veterans and American Indians.

THE CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER OF SOCIALIST/COMMUNIST PUBLIC EMPLOYEE UNIONS

Imagine a mechanism that would allow a cadre of communists, both foreign and domestic, to bring the American government and industry to a halt. Crippling our economy much like what we are seeing with the Coronavirus -- this time as deliberate as the current activities of Democrat governors and mayors.

1,500 janitors in SF walk out as part of national Strike for Black Lives

About 1,500 janitors in San Francisco walked off the job and hundreds of protesters gathered outside City Hall on Monday as part of a national day of strikes for racial justice.

The Strike for Black Lives protests organized by unions and other groups extended to more than two dozen U.S. cities. Workers also rallied outside the Trump International Hotel in Manhattan. McDonald’s cooks and cashiers in Los Angeles and nursing home workers in St. Paul, Minn., were also striking, according to Fight For $15, a labor group pushing for a higher minimum wage.

In San Francisco, Gus Vallejo, president of International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers Local 21, which represents public sector workers, said labor unions stand in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement and noted the coronavirus pandemic has disproportionately hurt minority communities.

[OCS: Black Lives Matter is a communist front group headed by “trained Marxists” and skilled community organizers.

Protesters took a knee as a list of names of victims of police killings was read and painted “Defund The Police” in yellow letters on Polk Street adjacent to City Hall. Supervisor Shamann Walton called for a moment of silence in remembrance of Rep. John Lewis, a civil rights leader who died Friday.

[OCS: Funny, the majority of those characterized as victims of police killings were criminals, many in the act of committing a crime, fleeing the police, or actively confronting a law enforcement officer.

Defunding the police removes the barrier between armed and violent drug dealers and thugs and a vulnerable community. Analogous to disarming law-abiding citizens to nullify their God-given right to self-defense. Many of the thugs now rampaging are Bernie Bros –- communist-supporting hooligans who will vote Democrat.]

“We have far too long been over-policed and over-criminalized in San Francisco,” Walton said, adding that “labor stood right with us” as lawmakers sought changes. Walton has proposed to amend the Police Code to make it unlawful for someone to “fabricate false racially biased emergency reports” in 911 calls.

Injustice is a union issue,” said Rudy Gonzalez, executive director of the San Francisco Labor Council, a labor union coalition group. “The movement for Black Lives is entwined with the movement for labor rights.

Piper Alldredge, a member of Service Employees International Union Local 1021, said workers are urged to be active but many aren’t able to strike or protest because of fear of losing their jobs.

[SEIU has long been associated with the communist party and the democrats.]

“The labor movement is really reckoning with the role of cops and police and trying to figure out how to deal with that. SEIU positions itself as anti-racist, so members must be on the front lines doing that anti-racist work,” said Alldredge, who was furloughed at the California College of the Arts, where she was a studio manager.

The coronavirus pandemic and police killing of George Floyd, a Black man in Minneapolis, have led to sustained protests around the country since late May.

[OCS: The progressive socialist democrats continue to characterize violent anarchists, looters, and arsonists as peaceful protesters.]

Strike organizers called on corporate leaders and government officials to raise wages and allow workers to unionize to negotiate better health care, sick leave and child care support. <Source>

An excerpt from the Communist Party USA showing the congruence of the Democrat Party’s platform with the goals of the Communist Party USA…

communist-header

Towards a Communist Party labor program

Organized labor: Political Ground Zero in our nation

First of all, a communist program is much more than a union program, but a review of where organized labor is at this point, the ground we are on, is essential if we are to correctly access how we are to move forward.  Further, it is important to acknowledge that our party’s labor commission, labor work in general, has atrophied, with many of the important lessons our comrades and working class had learned through tough struggles needing to be updated. Unfortunately, a similar fate has befallen much of our work during the previous period of party leadership.

The U.S. labor movement is not one dimensional, but is a large tent, with varied union histories and traditions. The national leadership is generally “progressive,” and multiracial, due mainly to a decades long rank-and-file movement that our comrades played a leading role in.  A great many unionists, including leaders, now speak positively of socialism, even identifying themselves as socialist.  The old red-baiting period is done, again due to tough struggle to eliminate the anti-communist clause in union by-laws, as well as the positive experiences of communists/socialists doing hard, tough work over the past decades. The AFL-CIO, representing 13 million workers is the strongest sector, but another section, Change to Win, with SEIU as its main union, also plays an important role.

From resistance to working peoples government

A next stage of struggle, again, not separated by walls, is moving from resistance to the defeat of Trump/extreme corporate right, creating the ability to build a working people’s government.  We need to help workers develop socialist/revolutionary consciousness during the period, preparing to go forward.  Some of the demands/goals of this period can include;

  •  Real national health care—Medicare for All.
  • Reform of labor legislation, creating a real right of workers to organize without company interference, with stiff penalties for labor law violations.
  •  Guaranteed income for all, paid for by taxing the top 1%.
  •  Free education for all.
  •  Green energy based infrastructure, with basic industrial, union jobs targeting minority communities.
  • National program for building affordable housing, with homes targeting minority communities.
  • National industrial program, with public ownership of main manufacturing facilities and national production goals.
  •  Cutting military, with jobs going into rebuilding inner city communities.
  •  Apprenticeships with union jobs for inner city youth as part of rebuilding cities.
  •  Real, guaranteed, retirement security for all.
  • Shorten the workweek, maintain pay levels.

[OCS: But first we must tear down everything we have and rebuild as a society where ability and merit do not matter and everyone is equally poor and miserable, except for the elite overlords.]

Finally, labor needs to move toward a new, international, labor movement that can successfully confront capital’s international organization. <Source>

The way it works…

FALSE-FLAG

Bottom line…

I have no doubt in my mind, that the communists have infiltrated and captured the Democrat Party. That Joe Biden is a Trojan Horse who will be replaced as President as soon as he is elected by an unelected hardcore radical. We are so screwed if the Democrats take all three branches of government. This election is truly one of momentous import – not the difference between the Democrats and the GOP, but between the America we know and love and a dystopian future ruled by increasingly stronger authoritarians.

JOE BIDEN'S WEEKEND AT BERNIE'S

It is incumbent on all Americans to realize that our country is at a tipping point between continuing capitalism and the introduction of full-blown socialism as promoted by the radical progressive socialist democrats. Their vehicle of choice is an empty vessel known as Joe Biden – a candidate whose cognitive decline has been well documented and should serve as proof that the Democrat Party, the party of racism, slavery, segregation, Jim Crow, and the KKK, is willing to do or say anything to gain and maintain power.

THE PROGRESSIVE POLITICIANS DESPERATELY NEED PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP

There comes a time when an innocent child stands up and declares the Emperor has no clothes -- and if it weren’t for the misdirection toward President Donald Trump, the residents of Portland and Citizens of Oregon would clearly see the cowardice, incompetence, irresponsible, and criminal behavior of their elected political leadership.

Odd-oregon

How can any elected political leader stand by while duly sworn members of law enforcement are attacked and injured by a mob – not “peaceful protesters” as the narrative goes, but a wild, out-of-control mob?

Perhaps we should ask…

Ron Wyden, Senior Senator (D-OR)

wyden

The protest was not peaceful; it was a riot, led by activists and agitators who want to violently overthrow the United States. The so-called “secret police” were sworn federal officers, protecting federal property, in uniform but without personal name badges to preserve their personal safety and that of their families. The suspects were lawfully taken into custody, transported to a federal building where they were processed, photographed, and either released or retained in custody. They did not use marked vehicles to prevent attacks and being set on fire. This was not an occupying army. The violence was one-sided and came from the rioters. And, except for citizens with mobile devices and cameras, no media was notified or present. Yet we have United States Senators publishing inflammatory remarks and demonizing law enforcement for self-serving political purposes.

Jeff Merkley, Junior Senator (D-OR)

Merkley

Horrific? Outrageous? Paramilitary forces with no identification? Snatching people off the street with no underlying justification? All lies. The officers had probable cause, including people in the vicinity of a criminal act, dressed in black like those who attacked a federal building and destroyed federal property, roaming with backpacks at 2:00 a.m. Or, they were identified by pictures, spotters, and others who witnessed criminal activity. What is horrific and outrageous is almost two months of continual violent civil insurrection including attacking and injuring law enforcement personnel.

Kate Brown, Governor (D)

brown

When the local police and state police are ordered not to engage with the “peaceful protesters” attempting to destroy federal property, the duty to protect federal property falls on the federal government. The task force does not engage in local police matters, and there is no abuse of power when federal officers uphold their sworn duties. It should be noted that there is nothing in the U.S. Constitution mandating that law enforcement officers wear personally-identifying badges or use marked vehicles to apprehend suspects. I think that almost two months of civil insurrection, arson, looting, violence, and the destruction of private and public property would constitute a “siege.”

Ted Wheeler, Mayor (D)

wheeler

This is little more than an attempt to cripple the efforts of duly-constituted federal law enforcement in protecting federal property.

And it comes from the very top of the Democrat leadership…

Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House (D-CA)

pelosi

Amazing that Pelosi is commenting when she has disabled the House of Representatives and crafts legislation in secret to be presented for an up-or-down vote with no amendments and no participation by the minority GOP. She enabled the “Schiff Show” with all of its blatant lying and leaking. If there was ever a one-sided authoritarian, it is Pelosi. [Side note: following in the footsteps of Pelosi, it appears California Senator Kamala Harris is the recipient of a new face lift – one that seems to have gone wrong.]

Bottom line…

It appears that the progressive socialist democrat political leadership in Oregon is sympathetic to those who want to bring about the violent overthrow of the government and protective of their criminal activities. I think that this meets the definition of Sedition: “Sedition is overt conduct, such as speech and organization, that tends toward insurrection against the established order. Sedition often includes subversion of a constitution and incitement of discontent towards, or resistance against established authority,” and it should be punished accordingly under 18 U.S. Code CHAPTER 115—TREASON, SEDITION, AND SUBVERSIVE ACTIVITIES.

These are the same individuals trying to disarm law-abiding citizens to make them more vulnerable to the mob and to create a larger victim pool. Why? Because Antifa and Black Lives Matter members are the shock troops of the Democrat Party and are attempting to distract the citizenry from the corruption and incompetence and racial history of the Democrat Party before the 2020 election.

We are so screwed.

OREGON IS THE TEST CASE FOR NATIONWIDE ANTIFA CIVIL INSURRECTION

From the reaction of Oregon politicians, you would think the drug cartels control Portland, Oregon, and the elected officials are scared out of taking definitive action to protect lives and property…

Statement from Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum:

“I share the concerns of our state and local leaders – and our Oregon U.S. Senators and certain Congressional representatives – that the current escalation of fear and violence in downtown Portland is being driven by federal law enforcement tactics that are entirely unnecessary and out of character with the Oregon way.

[OCS: One would think that Oregon’s top law enforcement official would not only be concerned that sworn police officers were attacked by thrown rocks, bottles, and explosives in the form of commercial-grade fireworks, but there would be an attempt by local law enforcement to curtail the damage to public and private property – including property owned and/or operated by the federal government.

And, that Oregon would deploy state resources to maintain civil peace and order  when peaceful protests turned violent and threatened the lives of Oregon’s citizens and Oregon’s property.]

These tactics must stop. They not only make it impossible for people to assert their First Amendment rights to protest peacefully. They also create a more volatile situation on our streets.

[OCS: What we are seeing are not peaceful protests. What we are seeing are activists and agitators using innocent civilians as human shields to cover their unlawful and nefarious activities. One would think that peaceful protesters would obey lawful orders to disperse and not engage in the looting, arson, and destruction of private and public property that occurs with great regularity as if it were being planned and coordinated. ]

We are today asking the federal court to stop the federal police from secretly stopping and forcibly grabbing Oregonians off our streets, and we are announcing a state criminal investigation, with the Multnomah County District Attorney, into the incident resulting in serious injuries to a peaceful protester — apparently committed by a federal police officer in downtown Portland last week.

[OCS: This is not a third-world nation and federal police do not secretly stop and grab citizens off a street. In many case,s they have probable cause and are acting against known agitators or those who have committed federal offenses. They do not enforce state laws – even when elected officials order their law enforcement officers from pursuing direct action against those engaged in criminal activity.

As for injuries to a peaceful protester, this is the type of collateral damage that occurs when a trained cadre of agitators hides among the protesters and uses them as human shields against action from duly authorized law enforcement. My feeling is “too bad, so sad.” This individual accepted the risk of being among a crowd of insurgents, probably after a lawful dispersal order had been given. It was the individual’s choice to remain on-scene and accept the risk of accidental injury or death.]

“The federal administration has chosen Portland to use their scare tactics to stop our residents from protesting police brutality and from supporting the Black Lives Matter movement. Every American should be repulsed when they see this happening. If this can happen here in Portland, it can happen anywhere.”

[OCS: I wonder how many of these protesters know that BLM is a communist front group operated by “trained Marxists” and “community organizers?” And that the police brutality being protested was an aberrant act and by no means is widespread in the nation. More whites than blacks were killed by police, and the majority of incidents started with a criminal act by the injured or slain individual.

And NO, it can not happen anywhere. Some municipalities and states do not slavishly bow to radical socialist and communist insurgents engaged in an asymmetrical war against America. Some public officials take their duties seriously and refuse to give in to mob violence or allowed public and private property to be destroyed in the name of protest. This is not the land of the Taliban and the destruction of cultural or historical property.]

Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum this evening will file a lawsuit in federal court against the United States Department of Homeland Security, the United States Marshals Service, the United States Customs and Border Protection, the Federal Protection Service and their agents alleging they have engaged in unlawful law enforcement in violation of the civil rights of Oregonians by seizing and detaining them without probable cause.

[OCS: Unproven allegations waiting to be tested in court.]

The lawsuit will be followed by a motion for a temporary restraining order (TRO) regarding the forcible detainment of an Oregon resident, Mark Pettibone. If granted, the TRO would immediately stop federal authorities from unlawfully detaining Oregonians. Rosenblum’s actions come in response to two disturbing incidents that occurred this week. Both involved federal authorities overstepping their powers and injuring or threatening peaceful protesters on the streets of Downtown Portland. <Source: Oregon DOJ>

[OCS: We do not know that the suspect was detained “unlawfully” and must wait for further details. This could be a case of mistaken identity, like a suspect being detained and investigated in the proximity of a crime.

The way the story is being spun is that there is a roving group of federal officials, dressed in camouflage, driving around in unmarked vehicles and randomly snatching people off the street as a fear tactic -- as if this were a third-world nation. The truth is that the officers are uniformed, but without the personal name patches that might subject them or their families to harm, and the unmarked vehicles are a prudent measure to keep them safe and from being set on fire.

These people are not randomly chosen, and the fact that they are dressed in black, makes mistaken identity inevitable – possibly on purpose to further inflame the community. Remember, this is a civil insurrection by individuals who want to overthrow the United States and they are engaged in an asymmetrical, non-coventional, attack.

These individuals are taken to the federal courthouse, where they are photographed, processed, and, depending on the circumstances, released or retained. In this case, the individual was not arrested and was released.

According to Pettibone, “I just happened to be wearing black on a sidewalk in downtown Portland at the time. And that apparently is grounds for detaining me.”  Yeah! Like knowingly wearing the uniform of the enemy and strolling around in a combat zone carrying a backpack at 2:00 a.m.]

Federal Protective Service Statement on Portland Civil Unrest

Officers from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Protective Service detained eight people following the 37th consecutive night of violence and civil unrest in Downtown Portland.

Those detained are pending prosecutorial decision by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Oregon. and face possible charges ranging from damage to government property and assault on a law enforcement officer to interfering with a law enforcement officer.

These charges can carry maximum fines of up to $5,000 and possible jail time of up to 20 years in prison depending on the severity of the crime.

Attacks on federal officers at the Mark O. Hatfield U.S. Courthouse involved the use of strobe lights, laser lights, commercial-grade fireworks, bricks, rocks, bottles, and paint-filled balloons. One suspect arrested was armed with machetes and was carrying a metal pipe with end caps and a fuse.

[OCS: Sounds like your typical “peaceful protesters.]

We know who they are, what they stand for, and that they are protected by the radical progressive democrats who want to overthrow the United States, or at least remove the current President and take over the government.

DEMOCRAT-SHOCK-TROOPS

Bottom line…

And it could get much, much worse. Consider the number of hardened criminals and violent felons who have been recruited into Louis Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam, a well-trained, armed, paramilitary force geographically dispersed in the United States. With much the same Marxist hatred of the United States, Whites, Jews, and preaching hate in the guise of protected religious freedom and using our own laws against us.

We are so screwed. It is no wonder that the radical progressive socialist democrats want to disarm law-abiding citizens like those armed individuals who were protecting themselves and their property from the MOB and are now facing indictment by a  Soros-supported radical District Attorney.
