2020 ELECTION: A ROUSING CHEER FOR PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP

Welcome to Day +50…

Former Trump legal team member, Sidney Powell is complaining that the gatekeepers in the White House are keeping her from speaking directly to President Trump. Could it be that two lawsuits challenging her conspiratorial theories involving Hugo Chavez, SmartMatic, and Dominion are highlighting material flaws in her presentation?

Pollsters, if they can be trusted, show the two Georgia run-off elections running at a dead heat or within the margin of error -- setting the stage of a new round of late-night mysterious ballots to materialize.

Vote-day-after-50Only six GOP Members of Congress stood up for America…

While the majority of the Members of Congress are salivating over the pork-laden “Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021,” which was passed with a near-unanimous veto-proof bipartisan vote, only President Trump stood up for ordinary American citizens and those small restaurant owners who are going out of business at a staggering rate during the government-imposed lockdown.

Of course, facing unanimous Democrat and Independent approval, there were six “nays” – all Republicans. As you might expect, the dissenters were: Rick Scott (Florida), Rand Paul (Kentucky), Marsha Blackburn (Tennessee), Ted Cruz (Texas), Mike Lee (Utah), and Ron Johnson (Wisconsin). Two Republicans did not vote: Mike Rounds (South Dakota) and Michael Enzi (Wyoming). I would not be surprised to see the six conservative dissenters surface in 2024 as presidential candidates.

Playing the Democrat’s own game of last-minute brinkmanship…

Trump knows that the government will technically shut down on December 29, 2020, if an appropriations bill is not passed and signed into law. The choice given to the Democrats is to do it my way or I, President Trump, will veto the bill and force the matter into the next seated Congress.

Trump’s gambit was revealed in a December 22, 2020, Twitter video to Congress -- criticizing the  $1.4 trillion general spending bill that included the additional $900 billion economic relief package passed by Congress and requesting $2,000 for each American.

Donald Trump...

Throughout the summer, Democrats cruelly blocked COVID relief legislation in an effort to advance their extreme left-wing agenda and influence the election. Then a few months ago, Congress started negotiations on a new package to get urgently needed help to the American people. It’s taken forever. However, the bill they are now planning to send back to my desk is much different than anticipated. It really is a disgrace.

For example, among the more than 5,000 pages in this bill, which nobody in Congress has read because of its length and complexity, it’s called the COVID Relief Bill, but it has almost nothing to do with COVID. This bill contains $85.5 million for assistance to Cambodia, $134 million to Burma, $1.3 billion for Egypt and the Egyptian military, which will go out and buy almost exclusively Russian military equipment. $25 million for democracy and gender programs in Pakistan, $505 million to Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama. $40 million for the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, which is not even open for business. $1 billion for the Smithsonian and an additional $154 million for the National Gallery of Art. Likewise, these facilities are essentially not open.

$7 million for reef fish management, $25 billion to combat Asian carp, $2.5 million to count the number of amberjack fish in the Gulf of Mexico. A provision to promote the breeding of fish in federal hatcheries, $3 million in poultry production technology, $2 million to research the impact of down trees, $566 million for construction projects at the FBI.

The bill also allows stimulus checks for the family members of illegal aliens, allowing them to get up to $1,800 each. This is far more than the Americans are given. Despite all of this wasteful spending and much more, the $900 billion package provides hardworking taxpayers with only $600 each in relief payments, and not enough money is given to small businesses. And in particular, restaurants, whose owners have suffered so grievously. They were only given a deduction for others to use in business, their restaurant, for two years. This two year period must be withdrawn, which will allow the owners to obtain financing and get their restaurants back in condition. Congress can terminate it at a much later date, but two years is not acceptable. It’s not enough.

Congress found plenty of money for foreign countries, lobbyists, and special interests while sending the bare minimum to the American people who need it. It wasn’t their fault, it was China’s fault. Not their fault. I am asking Congress to amend this bill and increase the ridiculously low $600 to $2,000 or $4,000 for a couple. I’m also asking Congress to immediately get rid of the wasteful and unnecessary items from this legislation and to send me a suitable bill or else the next administration will have to deliver a COVID relief package, and maybe that administration will be me, and we will get it done.

Thank you very much.

Pelosi caves (maybe)…

Deliberately forgetting that Donald Trump publicly proposed a payment of $1,200 to the American people on October 6, 2020, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi replies to Trump’s video with a Tweet of her own…

npt-1

It could be that this is a negotiating ploy to get the relief back to the original $1,200 – but we will have to wait and see. Treasury Secretary Mnuchin promised the checks, for whatever amount, can be processed within a week or so and sent out electronically, followed by mailed checks.

And this is the President the Democrats, many of them ordinary suffering individuals like the rest of us, voted against. Likely because they have been indoctrinated by 4-years of media negativity and derision – and a blackout of serious news of Democrat corruption, hoaxes, and perfidy.

Americans Excitedly Anticipate Getting Paid With Their Own Money

Americans have reported they're very optimistic about the stimulus package passed by Congress last week. In particular, people all around the country are excited to get paid with a little bit of the money that they paid the federal government already.

Americans from all walks of life said they couldn't wait to receive a check with a small percentage of the money the government had already taken from them.

"I can't wait to get that $1,200.00 check of my own money," said one man in Texas, rubbing his hands together. "Surely this will get the economy back on track."

From the rich to the poor, American citizens spent many hours dreaming of all the things they will spend their newfound riches on. "With $1200, I could save enough to pay my taxes on time this year," said one woman in Los Angeles. "Thanks so much, Congress. You're the real heroes here."

A small percentage of the population said they thought it would be way more efficient for the economy if the government just didn't take the money in the first place. These people were shouted down as "libertarian conspiracy theorist wackos" and told to move to Somalia.

Sadly, by the time all the administration costs, government pet projects, and handouts were factored in, the stimulus each American was to receive became a negative amount, forcing Congress to raise taxes to pay for a new stimulus bill. <Source>

[OCS: So effin’ true.]

Bottom line...

Has anyone noticed that Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) inserted language in the "stimulus" bill that further federalizes theft of streaming content? Once again, we find the hand of Disney pushing copyright restrictions and demanding that the federal government investigate, prosecute, and punish as a felony content theft whereas it used to be a civil procedure that placed the burden on the infringed company. Disney has done more to bring about a surveillance state with tracking codes than almost any other company.

Among the things that piss me off are the politicians who refer to "stimulus" bills without realizing that the net economic effect of money taken from individuals and organizations in taxes or simply printed by the Department of Treasury cannot overcome the negative effects of wealth redistribution and currency devaluation. This continued socializing of investment is designed to give the government more control over the economy to the detriment of individuals and our quasi-free market system of capitalism. In essence, they are using our money to buy votes and secure their future.

While our attention is focused on the Communist Chinese Corona Virus, corrupt politicians are stealing our election, our freedom, and our money.

Are you voting to work and pay for your neighbor’s new car?

We are so screwed.
