SEATTLE COMMITS SUICIDE -- ALLOWS THE RANDOM EXECUTION OF LAW-ABIDING CITIZENS?

police

The first duty of government and sworn officials is to provide for the public safety of its citizens. Resources should be allocated based on public safety (law enforcement and fire protection), the public health (emergency responders and acute health facilities), and critical infrastructure (water, electricity, sanitation, communications) -- and these take precedent over all non-essential government workers and discretionary programs.

Any government that does not provide for the maintenance of general order and the safety and security of its citizens should be judged illegitimate and its elected officials replaced.

City_of_Seattle—Seal

Seattle City Council President M. Lorena González

“Earlier today, I voted to override Mayor Durkan’s veto of three bills that were passed by this City Council during our summer budgeting process.

“In the wake of a racial reckoning, a $300 million budget shortfall, a pandemic, a climate crisis, a homelessness crisis, an affordable housing crisis, widening wealth inequities, and a lack of federal leadership, our fundamental duty remains: to balance the City’s budget and meet the needs of Seattle’s most vulnerable residents. On this task, the Charter of our City is unequivocally clear.  In a year unlike any other in living memory, I am proud of the work Council did under the leadership of Budget Chair Mosqueda.

[OCS: Their fundamental duty is not to advance the progressive agenda, but to maintain general order and an umbrella of public safety and security for ALL residents.

Notice the use of progressive socialist democrat issues and rhetoric: racial reckoning, climate crisis, housing crisis, wealth inequities, and the anti-Trump flavor of the moment, “lack of federal leadership.” It should be noted that federal leadership (the President, the Attorney General, and Homeland Security all were rebuffed when they offered assistance.

In a classic case of progressive projection, it is the local leadership that has failed their citizens by their refusal to maintain general order and the safety and security of ALL residents – not those they consider as the “most vulnerable residents.”]

City Council’s budget actions over the summer were a starting place to achieve public safety that truly includes and serves everyone, and I stand by the votes and positions I took then. The modest actions that the Council took over the summer were necessary.

[OCS: Explain to me how a summer of rioting, looting, arson, and the mass destruction of public and private property – and ordering the police to stand-aside – achieves public safety that includes and serves everyone?]

Transforming public safety requires us to begin the process of divesting from carceral systems and investing in real community safety centered on harm reduction for the well-being of all Seattlelites, especially BIPOC community members.

[OCS: The correct way you reduce harm and increase the well-being of residents is to lock criminals up, not give them a ticket, and a day-pass to resume their criminal activities. There is no moral or legal justification for treating BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color) individuals any different from any other non-BIPOC individual.]

“It is imperative that our budget makes meaningful community investments to build wealth and security in BIPOC communities; fund a robust community-led participatory budget process; and reduce the size of the police force through out-of-order layoffs and shifts to community-supported public safety programs centered on harm reduction, and a more civilianized E911 response system.

[OCS: It is not a function of a city government to build the wealth of any constituency at the expense of another constituency. When lives are on the line, I do not want community crisis counselors or “touchy-feely” mental health people as my first-responders.] <Source>

[OCS: González is a trial lawyer with a history of suing the police. She was the board president of the state’s leading civil and immigrants rights group, OneAmerica. She chaired the Council’s Gender Equity, Safe Communities, New Americans, and Education committee and served on the Seattle Police Accountability Review Panel in 2007. Her agenda is as one would expect from a progressive socialist democrat pandering to her base.]

Seattle’s priorities: ex-pimps over police…

Seattle hires former pimp as 'street czar' for $150,000 after CHOP fiasco

Seattle is paying an ex-pimp $150,000 a year to act as the city's "street czar" and offer "alternatives to policing" after protests morphed into the no-police-allowed Capitol Hill Occupied Protest.

Activist Andre Taylor is open about his past as a pimp (he appeared in the documentary "American Pimp") and is working with the city of Seattle through his nonprofit, Not This Time. Taylor says he started Not This Time after his brother Che Taylor was killed by Seattle police in 2016.

"Mayor Durkan believes that we have to make deep investments in community – one of the key demands of the Black Lives Matter protests,” Durkan spokesperson Kelsey Nyland told The Seattle Times in a statement.

“In early June, she committed in her 2021 budget a $100 million investment in community," Durkan's spokesperson continued. "Andrè spoke with organizers about how to turn activism and organizing into action at the state, local and federal level, and urged individuals to leave Capitol Hill.”

However, Taylor also encouraged CHOP protesters to ask the city for money before agreeing to leave the occupied zone.

“You gotta get something,” he told protesters in a recorded conversation, according to the Seattle Times. “Let me make that happen for you, and then I can bring that back to you. I don’t know, we’ll ask for $2 million. They might give us $1 million, but let’s ask for it. Because the reason why we’re holding that space is not only for George Floyd but for the millions of George Floyds.” <Source>

Unbelievable – dump the police, hire a former pimp and his associates.

Bottom line…

The Mayor and City Council are now on track to craft legislation to defund the Seattle police department, reducing the police force by 100 officers, cutting the salaries of police commanders, and redirecting millions of dollars to other unspecified public programs.

The budget brouhaha resulted in the resignation of Seattle’s first black police chief, Police Chief Carmen Best, who noted, “I believe 100% that they were putting me in a position destined to fail. Cutting a police department that already had low staffing numbers, that was already struggling to keep up with the demand. How are we going to provide for adequate public safety in that environment?”

DEMOCRATS, BLACK LIVES MATTER, AND TEACHERS' UNIONS: AN EVIL CONFLUENCE

There is no doubt in my mind that the Democrats and teachers’ unions are continuing to indoctrinate today’s children rather than educate them resulting in an evil confluence of un-American activities that will eventually destroy our nation and its precious constitution.

Democrats, Teachers’ Unions, Marxist terror group Black Lives Matter organize…

Public Schools Across Country Promote Black Lives Matter, Organize Protests

Public schools across the country have endorsed the Black Lives Matter movement and encouraged teachers, students, and parents to do the same, with some schools organizing their own BLM protests, a Daily Caller News Foundation review found.

[OCS: It is no secret that one of the root causes of illiteracy and poverty is the failure of organized education to educate minorities in Democrat-governed inner cities. Producing decades of functional illiterates who can barely compete against their neighbors, let alone globally.

And, that the unions, teachers, and others are fighting to keep government funding from following students to a decent school of their choice. The unions fear the loss of funding and the type of competition that results when bad teachers are fired, and schools are forced to compete on achievement and demonstrable real-world results, not dumbed-down union-approved tests.]

The Black Lives Matter movement has been linked to 91% of riots across the United States between May 24 and Sept. 12, according to the US Crisis Monitor, a joint project of the Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project and the Bridging Divides Initiative at Princeton University.

[OCS: Why would you want violent and vicious thugs to influence the conversation and curriculum in public schools? The only answer that seems to fit one’s observations involves supporting a revolution for political power and the destruction of our nation from within.]

Despite the close links between the Black Lives Matter movement and riots across the country, public schools have been a consistent source of support for the movement.

[OCS: It’s not the teachers or the schools; it is the socialist/communist activists and agitators in the unions that drive this divisive and destructive agenda.]

Buffalo Public Schools integrated Black Lives Matter’s “guiding principles,” which include disrupting the nuclear family, into its curriculum for elementary school students, according to lesson plans obtained and published by Fox News on Friday.

One such principle included in the lesson, “Black Villages,” calls for “the disruption of Western nuclear family dynamics and a return to the ‘collective village’ that takes care of each other.”

[OCS: According to the socialists and communists, the nuclear family and individual morality must be destroyed in favor of the state, which controls and confers all rights, privileges, and benefits.]

The president of United Teachers Los Angeles, a union representing 30,000 teachers, announced in June that the union board had voted to support disbanding the Los Angeles School Police Department in solidarity with Black Lives Matter.

[OCS: In a school system where disciplinary problems abound and many inner-city teachers are afraid of their students, we have the unions putting children and teachers at risk from out-of-control adults, gangs, and students, both past and present.]

We should be actively promoting Black Lives Matter,” United Teachers Los Angeles President Cecily Myart-Cruz told EdSource in an interview the same month.

We need to have a set of demands that dovetail with Black Lives Matter. We have to have massive political education,” Myart-Cruz said later in the interview when asked what her plans were for the union.

[OCS: There it is, a blatant illustration of indoctrination over education.]

“People will say, ‘Not all police are bad,’ but we’re not talking about that,” she continued. “We’re talking about racism as a social construct, systemic and institutional racism, and wrapped on top is white supremacist culture, which is the dominant culture.”

[OCS: These people are teaching students and others to become racists. Promoting class and race warfare in the classroom and attempting to urge children to indoctrinate their parents. In a classic case of projection, you can see that the real institutional racists are the teachers’ unions that control the educational institutions – from kindergarten through graduate school.]

<Source>

How can this unionized systemic racism continue to exist?

The simple answer is the students and parents like their individual teachers while ignoring the systemic generational racism promoted by their teachers’ unions. If a parent or teacher complains, they are bullied into submission. Union representatives continually monitor teachers for compliance with the program. Lesson plans are carefully scrutinized for "deviant" history and scientific thought.

It’s not about race, it’s about revolution – and Blacks continue to be screwed…

Why would any responsible individual, who happens to be Black, allow themselves to be shamed or coerced into devolving to the lowest common denominator by honoring criminals, miscreants, and others who refuse to take responsibility for their actions?

Statistically speaking, a responsible Black individual is more likely to be accosted by another Black individual than a White police officer. So, why would any responsible individual denigrate law enforcement that keeps the community safe in favor of criminals, gang members, and thugs who disrespect and destroy the community?

How can any responsible individual justify sinking to the lowest common denominator to assist a group of self-serving individuals in marketing their personal brand or un-American political agenda?

It seems that those who proclaim a position of leadership or appear to act as spokespersons for an entire race are doing a great disservice to responsible individuals by racializing everything for personal position, prestige, and profit.

Or, in the words of Booker T. Washington...

“There is a certain class of race-problem solvers who don’t want the patient to get well.”

“There is another class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs — partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.

bt

Booker T. Washington
(1856-1915) African American political leader, educator, and author

Why would any responsible individual allow themselves to be represented by the Democrats, the party of slavery, segregation, Jim Crow, and the KKK? The party that actively opposed civil rights legislation? The party that has governed the inner cities for decades, mismanaged billions of dollars, and has left these areas awash in illiteracy, poverty, disease, and criminality?
The party that denied a building permit, with the loss of millions in tax revenue and hundreds of jobs, to a company that refused to support a union funding the party’s politicians?

And, the greatest tragedy of all perpetrated by the unions is the systematic racism and poverty that results from a low-quality education, Refusing to hold teachers, administrators, and regulators responsible for decades of functional illiterates and denying parents the option of sending their children to better schools. A party and union who believe they own the students -- and funding. And, they want to control the entire country.

Bottom line…

The unions are becoming more militant. They are afraid of charter and private schools, which highlight their abysmal performance. They are scared of funding models where funds follow the student to the school of choice rather than accruing to the local school system. And they are deathly scared of video instruction where parents can see what is being taught to their children. They are down with the revolution and have hitched their star to the radical progressive socialist democrats.

It is time to stand up for yourself, your family, and the children – reject the racism of teachers’ unions and their radical Democrats cohorts.

Vote for life and freedom, not death and slavery.

VIALVA: PROCEED WITH A MORAL AND JUSTIFIED DEATH PENALTY

Usually, I am against the death penalty due to the number of cases that involve evidence fabrication and manipulation by law enforcement and prosecutorial misconduct, but not in clear-cut violent and vicious cases.

justice-ovc

With another inmate facing execution, look at how the progressive socialist democrats, the party of slavery, segregation, racism, leniency for criminals, and a lack of sympathy toward victims spins the story.

TRUMP PREPARES TO EXECUTE CHRISTOPHER VIALVA FOR A CRIME HE COMMITTED AS A TEENAGER

[OCS: Trump was not even a candidate when the inmate was tried and sentenced to death. It is both dishonest and disgusting that any publication would attempt to racialize the death penalty and place it on Trump’s doorstep – except for the fact that the Democrats are trying to pander to their Black constituency in the run-up to the 2020 election.]

Vialva is the first Black man to face execution during Trump’s killing spree. He is set to die on September 24.

[OCS: While the inmate may self-identify as Back, the truth is that he is of a mixed-race with a white mother.]

[Yada. Yada. Yada. It is a given that the inmate does not have the opportunity to be the same violent and vicious person while he is incarcerated. Yes, he may have changed over the years, but this may be due to the circumstances of his incarceration.]

Vialva was sentenced by an almost all-white jury too. But Brown, who is white, bristles at the emphasis on her son being the first Black man facing execution under Trump. She stresses what his lawyer, advocates, and friends on death row have also said: that Vialva is simply not the same person he was at 19. He is a loving son and brother, a voracious reader, and a positive influence on his neighbors in Terre Haute. After converting to Messianic Judaism, his mother’s faith, he has spent the last decade worshipping alongside other men.

[OCS: He may have had a traumatic childhood, he may have had other mitigating factors, including the old chestnut of ineffective counsel, but there is no dispute that he killed two loving individuals in a family in cold-blood.]

But as Vialva’s lawyers have emphasized aspects of his background that could have compelled jurors to spare his life — including childhood trauma, evidence of organic brain damage, and suicidal ideation beginning when he was 11 years old — Brown has also had to confront her own family’s scarring bigotry.

[OCS: Boo effin’ Hoo! I see nothing that mitigates the cold-blooded killing of a loving couple in a violent and vicious manner. The fact that he burned the vehicle to destroy the evidence and bodies speaks to a rational state of mind and a conscious knowledge of right and wrong.]

[OCS: Not only should the inmate be held fully responsible for his violent and vicious actions, but his death should also serve as a deterrent for other violent and vicious criminals – especially younger individuals who may believe that their age may insulate them from the ultimate punishment.]

The murders that sent Vialva to die were undeniably cruel. On the evening of June 21, 1999, a car was reported on fire in the Belton Lake Recreation Area on the grounds of Fort Hood, a large military base in Killeen, Texas. Firefighters and law enforcement found two burned bodies in the trunk of the vehicle. They belonged to a 28-year-old woman named Stacie Bagley and her 26-year-old husband, Todd.

A group of Black youths was arrested shortly afterward. Investigators quickly elicited incriminating statements. The younger teens, who were between the ages of 15 and 17, said Vialva had convinced them to target a random stranger by asking them for a ride, then robbing them of their money and belongings. After one of the boys approached Todd Bagley while he used a payphone outside a convenience store, three others got in their car with Stacie. They led the couple to a remote location, then Vialva told them that “plans have changed.” They forced the Bagleys at gunpoint to get into the trunk. After driving to collect money from different ATMs, Vialva reportedly said that the couple had seen too much. He shot them both in the head. <Source>

Bottom line…

Especially in today’s climate of anarchy, rioting, looting, and arson, it is essential to maintain law and order and prove that those who commit heinous crimes will be apprehended, adjudicated, and punished in accordance with the law. It is time that the Democrats start renouncing their support for criminals and start supporting victims and their families. Considering perpetrators of violent and vicious crimes to be victims of the system while ignoring the plight of the real victims is wrong and immoral.

Let the execution proceed – without political interference. It is the least we can do to remember the deaths of the young couple executed by these wanton and vicious thugs.

It is NOT RACIAL; it is just, moral, and necessary to enforce the laws of a civil society.

We are so screwed when our court system drags out capital cases for years and years.

TIME TO TELL THE DEMOCRATS TO STEP OFF.

crying-eagle

There is no doubt in my mind that we are living in revolutionary times. Our core values of self-protection, capitalism, constitutional government, and free speech are under attack by radical progressives.

We are witnessing a movement that destroys the institutions of religion, community, family, and replaces them with anarchy and political excess. Erasing our history in an effort to minimize historical experience with the negative consequences of other political systems that have resulted in death, despair, and abject poverty for hundreds of millions of individuals.

All promoted by a cynical elite who are isolated and insulated from the consequences of their beliefs and actions. Engaging in the virtue-signaling of the radical chic that already benefits from wealth, power, and position.

Many of whom have done well, whether by inheritance, skill, or blind, dumb luck, and have deluded themselves into believing that they have wisdom and answers to the significant scientific, technological, and social issues of the day. Reinforced by ego-stroking courtiers. With beliefs not backed by education or direct experience, but by a belief in this or that "expert" who speaks convincingly about an unknowable phenomenon or future. An elite whose money can purchase ego-boosting media attention and the political influence to market their ideas and positions to those in power -- powerful people who can then jam specious ideas down ordinary Americans' throats.

An elite class that believes, or says they believe, that one should hold a beneficent host like America responsible and culpable for newcomers, especially illegal aliens, not immediately achieving parity with American citizens as they demand immediate equality of results, not equality of opportunity. Parity with the results of individual and family achievements built over decades, if not centuries of sacrifice and hard work.

All cobbled together by a paradigm that essentially states that if someone is not equal, they are oppressed, and ordinary Americans are, by definition, both racist and oppressors of people of color.

All exacerbated by the importation of impoverished, illiterate, diseased, or criminal individuals without regard to any benefit to the host country. And, as for the decent individuals among them, a refusal to demand assimilation, acculturation, integration, and acceptance of  American's existing and exceptional values.

Bottom line...

This brings us to the essential question of whether the American people have the will and the intestinal fortitude to hold the elites and the politicians accountable for what they have wrought.

Whether by accident or design, we have seen how easy it is for a foreign sovereign power to create, foment, and harness the internal stresses in our American system to nearly cripple our nation.

We have seen the imposition of drastic measures leading to harsh economic penalties during the COVID-19 crisis. And, it is unconscionable to impose these drastic measures and harsh penalties when the problem is grossly political and not substantiated not by actual science, but by the words of experts who may speak with assurance even though they have been wrong many times in the past.

America is at risk! We are being screwed. It is now time to say NO to the progressive socialist democrats and vote the only choice for America in these troubled times.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A PERFECT PRESIDENTAL CANDIDATE

unclesam

Choosing a president…

The when was easy: November 3, 2020. The what was easy: the election of the next president of the United States. The where and how was a little tricky since state officials wanted to expand the absentee ballot process to everyone but without the formality of requesting a ballot and validating one’s right to vote.

But it was the who and why that were problematic.

I was challenged by a friend to pick the five most important personal criteria to select a presidential candidate. I was explicitly asked not to consider patriotism and the likely impact of the individuals on the military, economy, and culture, including the brouhaha over the replacement of Ruth Bader Ginsberg.

After some careful consideration, this is what I was able to develop, totally independent of party politics and using only my observations.

While I am a constitutional conservative, and probably have a confirmation bias towards President Trump, I found it difficult to concentrate on the individual and not the betrayal of a party and administration that would subvert Executive Branch agencies, spy on Americans and opposition candidates, and cover-up their actions with other illegal activity.

Donald Trump

(Incumbent)

Joseph Biden

(Candidate)

Integrity

Transactional and self-centered, creates own ethical framework. Self-serving with little awareness of ethics.

Energy/Stamina

Boundless energy as exhibited over past three years.

Severe mental and physical limitations.

Adaptive Intelligence

Willingness to think beyond convention and mindful of what has failed in the past. A life of “me too” and plagiarism with little original thought.

Susceptibility to Pressure

Willingness to accept advice, but has the strength to follow his own path.

Willingness to think beyond convention and mindful of what has failed in the past.

Past Achievements

Breakthroughs in both domestic and foreign policies.

Few personal achievements not related to President Obama.

I am open to suggestions…

If anyone has a better set of individual criteria or disagrees with my fundamental observations, I am willing to offer you the opportunity to comment and discuss any similarities or differences.

Bottom line…

Unfortunately, politics is in the realm of emotion and subject to the influences of background, education, peer pressure, and the external persuasion of the media. We are left with poor choices, and it is our duty to eliminate the poorest of the two poor choices from consideration. I wish there were more acceptable candidates, but it is what it is.

For me, the choice is intuitively obvious – re-elect President Donald Trump. When one steps away from the chart and considers that we are at a crossroads, one road leading to increased capitalism and the continual improvement of our standard of living and cultural norms or our descent into the shared misery of scarcity and socialism, the choice could not be much more apparent.

In the event that Joe Biden is elected, it is my belief that he will be removed from office, leaving us with an unelected President and unknown Vice President. Or, alternatively puppet-masters behind the scenes.

In totality, re-electing President Trump is likely to achieve three national goals: improve the quality of life, right a wrong, and prevent the end of something good, namely our Constitution and system of capitalism.

We are so screwed.

VIRTUE-SIGNALING "WOKE" PRINCETON UNIVERSITY PRESIDENT ADMITS TO A FEDERAL CRIME?

PRINCETON

“Too cute by half” describes the virtue-signaling “woke” President of Princeton University,  Christopher L. Eisgruber, who rushed before the media to claim that his University was afflicted by systemic racism, but under his thoughtful guidance, is working on a solution.

The President of Princeton University admits that systemic racism does exist at Princeton …

Letter <excerpts> from President Eisgruber on the University’s efforts to combat systemic racism

Dear members of the Princeton community,

In June, I wrote to you as America entered a profound national reckoning with racism.  That reckoning is at once painful, because the harms done by systemic racism have been exposed so starkly, and promising, because we are seeing widespread and urgent desire to

We must ask how Princeton can address systemic racism in the world, and we must also ask how to address it within our own community.  That is true even though, for at least the past fifty years, this University has committed itself to becoming more inclusive.  At a University that, for most of its history, intentionally and systematically excluded people of color, women, Jews, and other minorities, Princetonians— from the oldest alumni to the newest undergraduates — now take pride in the diversity of our community.  They thrill to the achievements of all our students, faculty, and alumni, and they want Princeton to be a fully inclusive community.

Racism and the damage it does to people of color nevertheless persist at Princeton as in our society, sometimes by conscious intention but more often through unexamined assumptions and stereotypes, ignorance or insensitivity, and the systemic legacy of past decisions and policies.  Race-based inequities in America’s health care, policing, education, and employment systems affect profoundly the lives of our staff, students, and faculty of color.

Racist assumptions from the past also remain embedded in structures of the University itself.  For example, Princeton inherits from earlier generations at least nine departments and programs organized around European languages and culture, but only a single, relatively small program in African studies.   <Source>

How does such an “elite” individual openly confess to a violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act?

42 U.S. Code § 2000d.

Prohibition against exclusion from participation in, denial of benefits of, and discrimination under federally assisted programs on ground of race, color, or national origin

No person in the United States shall, on the ground of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.

(Pub. L. 88–352, title VI, § 601, July 2, 1964, 78 Stat. 252.)

The potential ramifications…

(1)  The University has just provided a prima facie admission of wrongdoing, thus opening the University up to lawsuits by those who believe they might have been denied admission based on systemic racism, including others who might have lost funding for their projects. Possibly morphing into a class action lawsuit to draw the attention of rapacious trial lawyers, many of whom may have trained at these “elite” institutions. This violation is not limited to Princeton’s educational enterprise, but every department and program of the University and its affiliates.

(2)  The reimbursement of tens of millions of dollars in government funding obtained under false pretenses. (Possibly hundreds of millions if the violations are extended across the enterprise.)

(3)  Individual criminal prosecution for those who applied for federal funding and attested, under the penalty of perjury, that they were not violating anti-discrimination rules, regulations, and laws.

The Department of Education wants to know more, and possibly the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice…

doe-hdr

Since you became President in 2013, and in exchange for well over $75 million in federal Title IV taxpayer funds alone, Princeton University (“Princeton”) has repeatedly represented and warranted to the U.S. Department of Education (“Department”) Princeton’s compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000d et seq. Title VI provides no person in the United States shall, on the ground of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance. Also, Princeton has made many material nondiscrimination and equal opportunity representations to students, parents, and consumers in the market for education certificates during this time.

On September 2, 2020, you admitted Princeton’s educational program is and for decades has been racist. Among other things, you said  … <snip>

Based on its admitted racism, the U.S. Department of Education (“Department”) is
concerned Princeton’s nondiscrimination and equal opportunity assurances in its Program
Participation Agreements from at least 2013 to the present may have been false. The Department is further concerned Princeton perhaps knew, or should have known, these assurances were false at the time they were made. Finally, the Department is further concerned Princeton’s many nondiscrimination and equal opportunity claims to students, parents, and consumers in the market for education certificates may have been false, misleading, and actionable substantial misrepresentations in violation of 20 U.S.C. § 1094(c)(3)(B) and 34 CFR 668.71(c). Therefore, the Department’s Office of Postsecondary Education, in consultation with the Department’s Office of the General Counsel, is opening this investigation.

Based on the facts, the Secretary of Education may consider measures against Princeton  for false Program Participation Agreement nondiscrimination assurances, including an action to recover funds. Also, she may consider measures against Princeton for making substantial misrepresentations about the nature of its educational program, including a fine proceeding. The Department is aware of the challenges posed by COVID-19 to institutions of higher education. However, the serious, even shocking nature of Princeton’s admissions compel the Department to move with all appropriate speed.

For those wishing to read the letter in full and in context, it can be found here.

As of 2018, Princeton’s endowment was $25.9 BILLION, and they can easily afford any fines, penalties, and remediation measures.

Bottom line…

It is important to note that the elite Ivy League universities, notably Yale, Harvard, and Princeton place a disproportionate number of their graduates in the top levels of the government, notably the CIA and Department of State, educational institutions, and strategic industries where their biases deeply affect the policies that impact us all.

It is conceivable that the “system” will protect itself, and nothing will happen. Or, if it does, will be settled with a fine along with a statement neither admitting nor denying the allegations.

Look for Princeton and its alums to go all-in for Biden/Harris in 2020 to quash the investigation. Not that a majority of the students, staff, and personnel of these socialist/communist-dominated educational institutions would openly vote for freedom, liberty, and Trump.

We are so screwed.

TIME TO DONATE TO WIKIMEDIA -- POLITICALLY BIASED WARTS AND ALL

Like national public radio and television outlets with their bi-annual funds solicitation, the Wikimedia Foundation has its hand out…

wiki-donate

“This is awkward to admit, but I have to be honest: 98% of our readers don't give; they simply look the other way. And without more one-time donors, we need to turn to you, our past donors, in the hope that you'll show up again for Wikipedia, as you so generously have in the past.

If all our past donors gave a small amount today, our fundraiser would be over. But most people will ignore this message. We have no choice but to turn to you: please renew your gift to ensure that Wikipedia remains independent, ad-free, and thriving another year.

We're a nonprofit. That means we aren't selling the articles that millions of people read on Wikipedia each day. We don't profit from the knowledge you seek. In fact, we firmly believe that knowledge should exist outside of the realm of supply and demand. But that's hardly a given nowadays; so much of the world's digital knowledge is driven by profit in order to survive.

Wikipedia is different in that it doesn't belong to the highest bidder, the advertisers, or corporations. It belongs to you, the readers, editors, and donors. You're our community, our family. You're the reason we exist. The fate of Wikipedia rests in your hands and we wouldn't have it any other way.

It's folks like you who safeguard our nonprofit mission. You help us maintain our integrity, quality, and accessibility. And today, you have the power to keep this wonderful website free and independent for another year.
Now is the time we ask: can we count on you to renew your solidarity with a small donation? It will keep Wikipedia online, ad-free, and growing another year.”

I thought that, before making a contribution, I would first consider how reliable Wikipedia might be when it comes to credible information since I have personally observed that political organizations and individuals have had their entries either white-washed and negative information removed or muted, and others buried in scurrilous accusations.

Wikipedia’s posting policies facilitate deception and political bias…

“The reliability of Wikipedia concerns the validity, verifiability, and veracity of Wikipedia and its user-generated editing model, particularly its English-language edition. It is written and edited by volunteer editors who generate online content with the editorial oversight of other volunteer editors via community-generated policies and guidelines. Wikipedia carries the general disclaimer that it can be "edited by anyone at any time" and maintains an inclusion threshold of "verifiability, not truth." This editing model is highly concentrated with 77% of all articles being written by 1% of its editors, a majority of whom are anonymous.” <Source>

Wikipedia does not publish original thought. All material in Wikipedia must be attributable to a reliable, published source. Articles may not contain any new analysis or synthesis of published material that serves to reach or imply a conclusion not clearly stated by the sources themselves.” <Source>

“Readers must be able to check that any of the information within Wikipedia articles is not just made up. This means all material must be attributable to reliable, published sources. Additionally, quotations and any material challenged or likely to be challenged must be supported by inline citations.” <Source>

The key to my assertion is “verifiability, not truth.”

We have all seen false and misleading information knowingly published, many with unfounded allegations from anonymous sources, by the New York Times, considered to be among, if not the, most credible journalistic sources. Thus, if a lie or hoax is published by the Times, considered by many to be the Pravda of the West, it can be posted. Whereby a factual refutation that does not appear in a credible published source may not.

Over time, especially in the face of fading public interest, cruft builds up in Wikipedia and its usefulness is degraded.

Bottom line…

I have no problem donating the minimum requested donation of $3.00.

A DEMENTED JOE BIDEN: A CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER TO AMERICA

It is unbelievable that the Democrat Party would allow a candidate clearly suffering from dementia to run for the Presidency of the United States. A vote for Biden is either a vote for a shadow presidency with Jill Biden or a Kamala Harris administration.

If the video is missing, it can be found here.

There is no doubt America is about to be screwed.

LET US TELL THE MULTI-MILLIONAIRE PAMPERED ATHLETES TO STEP OFF

This bears repeating…

He is veteran of Operation Desert Shield/Storm where he commanded a 1,200-man Task Force into Saudi Arabia as part of the lead Marine Corps contingent in Desert Shield. He was decorated for valor while serving as Operations Officer for the lead Task Force into Kuwait. He retired from the U.S. Marine Corps achieving the rank of Colonel.

He speaks for me…

If the video is missing, it can be found here.

As the 2017 NFL season got underway, an open letter written the year before by retired Marine Col. Jeffery Powers to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell about players kneeling during the United States national anthem reappeared on social media:

Commisioner,

I’ve been a season pass holder at Yankee Stadium, Yale Bowl and Giants Stadium.

I missed the ’90-’91 season because I was with a battalion of Marines in Desert Storm. 14 of my wonderful Marines returned home with the American Flag draped across their lifeless bodies. My last conversation with one of them, Sgt Garrett Mongrella, was about how our Giants were going to the Super Bowl. He never got to see it.

Many friends, Marines, and Special Forces Soldiers who worked with or for me through the years returned home with the American Flag draped over their coffins.

Now I watch multi millionaire athletes who never did anything in their lives but play a game, disrespect what brave Americans fought and died for. They are essentially spitting in the faces and on the graves of real men, men who have actually done something for this country beside playing with a ball and believing they’re something special! They’re not! My Marines and Soldiers were!

You are complicit in this!

You’ll fine players for large and small infractions but you lack the morale courage and respect for our nation and the fallen to put an immediate stop to this.

Yes, I know, it’s their 1st Amendment right to behave in such a despicable manner. What would happen if they came out and disrespected you or the refs publicly?

I observed a player getting a personal foul for twerking in the end zone after scoring. I guess that’s much worse than disrespecting the flag and our National Anthem. Hmmmmm, isn’t it his 1st Amendment right to express himself like an idiot in the end zone? Why is taunting not allowed yet taunting America is ok? You fine players for wearing 9-11 commemorative shoes yet you allow scum on the sidelines to sit, kneel or pump their pathetic fist in the air. They are so deprived with their multimillion dollar contracts for playing a freaking game! You condone it all by your refusal to act. You’re just as bad and disgusting as they are. I hope Americans boycott any sponsor who supports that rabble you call the NFL. I hope they turn off the TV when any team that allowed this disrespect to occur, without consequence, on the sidelines. I applause those who have not.

Legends and heroes do NOT wear shoulder pads. They wear body armor and carry rifles.

They make minimum wage and spend months and years away from their families. They don’t do it for an hour on Sunday. They do 24/7 often with lead, not footballs, coming in their direction. They watch their brothers carted off in pieces not on a gurney to get their knee iced. They don’t even have ice! Many do t have legs or arms. Some wear blue and risk their lives daily on the streets of America. They wear fire helmets and go upstairs into the fire rather than down to safety. On 9-11, hundreds vanished. They are the heroes.

I hope that your high paid protesting pretty boys and you look in that mirror when you shave tomorrow and see what you really are, legends in your own minds. You need to hit the road and take those worms with you!

Time to change the channel.
