"WE THE PEOPLE" ARE BEING SCREWED BY PROGRESSIVE COMMUNIST DEMOCRATS

crying-eagle

You cannot continue to blame the GOP for the actions of the progressive socialist democrats …

Did you ever think that a single political party would participate, promote, or accept the actions of a violent, racist, and fascist group of communists while they are tearing down an American city?

Did you ever believe that just mentioning a drug, hydroxychloroquine, could get you banned from the social media platforms and attacked by those who claim ownership of “science?” Or, that some well-credentialed and well-experienced scientists would be denied a voice at the same time a long-time science-bureaucrat flip flops between the politically-determined fashionable science of the day with a degree of certitude that is unwarranted by any scientific findings?

Or, that a single party would nominate a “trained Marxist” as the President of the United States, followed by a corrupt, lying nominee who is, by all publicly-revealed evidence, an unindicted felon, and then followed by a corrupt, lying, cognitively-impaired fool who has spent decades in the government and has flip-flopped on every issue?

Or that treason, the political corruption of the nation’s intelligence, law enforcement agencies, and the state department, the subversion of a presidential election, and the attempted removal of a sitting president should be covered-up and ignored as if it never happened or was “old news?”

Or that educational institutions would suppress academic freedom and free speech in favor of progressive-dictated subject matter and viewpoints?

Or that bureaucratic unions would dictate public policies that would bankrupt our communities, municipalities, and states?

Or that children would be indoctrinated and not educated? Offered a false political narrative instead of an actual historical record?

Or that schoolchildren would have their choice of birth control or abortions, but not the right to attend the school of their choice?

Or that the most significant technology platforms would ever actively censor information that was not approved by the progressive socialist democrats? Where throttling or denying access is the modern equivalent of book burning?

Or that the mainstream media would knowingly and willingly become the propaganda arm of the progressive socialist democrats?

Or that individuals perceived to be white would be demonized and the use of the word “racist” would be used to shame and silence the opposition. When a man can self-proclaim to be a woman, a woman becomes a man, and everybody chooses their own reality -- divorced from biology and science?

Not in all of my life, could I have even imagined such a dystopian scenario – especially after reading about big government and the surveillance state in George Orwell’s 1949 classic “1984.” Where language is subverted to mean whatever the progressives find convenient at the moment and that American families have become almost irrelevant as sexual deviation is openly demonstrated in schools?

What have we become? What is to become of us? How is it that “We the People” have been dominated by well-funded elitists and academics that assure us that they know what is best for us, our community, and our nation? Especially when so many of them are demonstrably ignorant in so many things?

VOTE-2020

If we do not win by an overwhelming and obvious victory, the election will be challenged and, once again, we will be well and truly screwed.

  • I have adopted the Marxist/Communist Agenda, but can't explain it.
  • I refuse the leave my basement, give news interviews, or debate.
  • Even radical Ilhan Omar will not endorse me.
  • I am likely to cede my office to an unelected Vice President who will then appoint an unelected person to the Vice Presidency.

THE RUSSIA/TRUMP HOAX: MADE IN AMERICA?

New revelations have surfaced that indicate that Christopher Steele relied on a primary sub-source that has now been identified and confirmed as Igor Danchenko. This American resident is associated with the liberal think tank known as the Brookings Institution. The head of the Brookings Institution until 2017, Strobe Talbot, may have been promised a position in a new Hillary Clinton administration, appears to have his fingers in the dossier circulation pool and coincidently is related to Cody Shearer, an author of similar dossier material and thought to be a contributor to the Steele version of the dossier.

It looks like the Trump/Russia hoax was purely an American affair with its specious comments and allegations assigned to known Russian names. What makes this problematical for the DOJ/FBI is that they swore, under the penalty of perjury, that the source was “Russia-based” and “truthful and cooperative.” No mention of the fact that the primary sub-source said that his comments were little more than “bar talk.”

Therefore, I have revised my chart that asks "is the backbone of the hoax effort?"

Russia-new-data-1

Since these people all seem to know each other and multiple lines of communication exist, this chart is just an approximation of who the key players might be. Of course, this leads one to question the truth of the DNC hacking claims and why Hillary Clinton needed to scrub her server.

According to published sources, the FBI and other government agencies have been slow-walking information requests to run out the statute of limitations clock on the major players. Most of whom should be tried for treason for attempting to overthrow the government.

It is also possible that the Attorney General William Barr will allow John Durham’s report and any indictments to be delayed until after the November election.

It is looking more-and-more like Jeffrey Epstein will be convicted of a crime than Hillary Clinton and her closest cronies.

For those wishing to read more about the recent findings, you may want to learn more at investigative reporter John Solomon’s Just the News.

We are so screwed.

REALITY CHECK: HOW TO CONVERT A LIBERAL

pg-2

Reminds me of the old Irving Kristol quip that defined a conservative as a liberal mugged by reality. Somewhat of a truism for all but professional victims.

But, in the hands of an academic…

From the Punishment & Society Journal, an international, interdisciplinary, peer reviewed journal that publishes the highest quality original research and scholarship dealing with punishment, penal institutions and penal control.

Is a conservative just a liberal who has been mugged?: Exploring the origins of punitive views

Abstract

As in the adage that `a conservative is just a liberal who has been mugged', many presume that punitive public attitudes are derived from the direct experience of crime and victimization. People become `fed up' with criminality and seek to strike back at lawbreakers.

Social theories of punitiveness, on the other hand, typically portray punitiveness as a form of scapegoating in which offenders are just a stand-in population, masking more abstract anxieties.

This survey was designed to explore both of these hypotheses with a sample (N = 940) of the British public.

A multivariate analysis of survey responses finds that factors such as concerns about the economy and the state of `the youth today' account for a substantial proportion of the effect of actual crime concerns on punitiveness. Crime-related factors, such as victimization experiences or anxieties about crime, on the other hand, do not appear to be strong predictors of punitiveness in this sample.

Ironically, the research was published on April Fool’s Day (April 1, 2009).

Pretty much why the academics and progressive socialist democrats tend to reverse the perpetrator and victim, providing excuses and plea bargains to gun-wielding miscreants while ignoring the damage done to victims and their families.

SOCIALIST DEMAGOGUERY

There are fundamental reasons why I dislike and disbelieve soft-science academics, and in particular, those who participate in “studies” programs.

(1)  These academics operate in an environment that is fundamentally skewed towards socialism, where issues are more likely to be attributed to the “collective” (e.g., systemic racism) rather than the total of individual activities where individuals are held responsible for their behavior.

(2)  Despite the twaddle about “free speech” and “academic freedom,” there are funding and peer pressures on academics to expound and extend those fashionable viewpoints of the day.

(3)  The starting point for all “studies” programs is that the United States is fundamentally flawed and dysfunctional and that all of America’s real or imagined ills can be grossly assigned to the predominantly white race – the very definition of racism itself.

(4)  Academics seem to ignore “human nature,” which is built on naturally occurring inequalities and power dynamics. And that equality, especially as dictated by government fiat, is not only improbable; it may be impossible. Especially, when one considers the situational externalities introduced by the natural conflict between the weak and the strong, the able and the disabled, the producers and the consumers, and the rich and the poor, etc. Moreover, the inherent desire to become a member of the herd and to achieve a satisfactory place in its hierarchy.

So let’s consider this article, which is targeted toward those who govern us…

gov-hdr

How Can Local Government Address Systemic Racism?

Peniel Joseph, one of the nation’s leading civil rights scholars, has studied and written about the history of race and democracy. He has some ideas on how cities and urban areas can begin to dismantle racism.

[OCS: I would first posit that governance should be wrested from the corrupt party of slavery, segregation, Jim Crow, anti-civil-rights, and the KKK. The party that is most aligned with “the system” and has misused trillions of dollars that were allocated to improve infrastructure and the general welfare of the people. History has demonstrated that continued political power for this cohort is unlikely to produce beneficial change and continue the practice of political corruption -- where waste, fraud, and abuse is routinely accepted by those who are spending other people’s money.]

Have we reached a moment when we could start to dismantle systemic racism?

[OCS: I would also posit that there is no such thing as “systemic racism” because all political actions are the sum total of the actions of self-interested individuals being directed by those granted the power to govern. To believe in systemic racism is to believe a municipality with an administration governed by people of color would find it necessary to attribute racism to the black leadership, black police, black prosecutors, black judges, and black jurors. Or that some outside agency is forcing them to act in a racist manner.]

I hope we have. I do think we’re asking the right questions about wealth inequality, racial disparity, white supremacy, white privilege. These questions, along with defunding the police and prison abolition, are all the right takes in terms of policy.

[OCS: In the history of nations, there has always been wealth inequality, a condition that will prevail far into the future. Racial disparity is an artificial construct to excuse the disparity in performance between the races. One sees true African-Americans, as well as other immigrants, enter the United States and prosper and thrive. Of, course they have a different mindset from the majority of inner cities blacks, one of individualism and opportunity that is divorced from political control and handouts.

White supremacy is to be condemned as it promotes an artificial division of the races. There is no such thing as white privilege unless you also consider the privilege of being born in the United States as opposed to being born in a third-world nation. White privilege is another political construct that is used to divide rather than unite Americans. All following the socialist principles of fomenting the type of revolution that leads to perpetual control over the population by authoritarians.

As for defunding the police and abolishing prisons, that is sheer lunacy. There are those walking among us that do not wish us well. Ranging from psychopaths without any inherent sense of morality to the opportunism of the strong preying on the weak.

Removing law enforcement is little more than empowering anarchy, thuggery, and creating a larger pool of potential victims. Especially if you disarm the law-abiding citizens and remove their God-given right to self-defense after noting that even the police do not have a legal duty to any particular citizen to protect life and property.]

If you’re going to dismantle systemic racism, you have to understand the pipeline and why and how it keeps reproducing inequality and marginalization, unemployment, mass incarceration, poverty and racial segregation.

[OCS: This is a “pipeline” that is created by the political class and their special interests to exploit others. The so-called pipeline is not redressed by changing policy, it is redressed by changing politicians – especially the corrupt radical progressive socialist democrats. Rather than teaching collectivism, hate, and victimhood, the emphasis needs to be redirected, especially by the academy, to individualism, responsibility, motivation, and the creation of your own opportunities. We should always make provisions for the less-abled, but we should not give a pass to any segment of the population that exempts themselves from the consequences of their actions.]

You’re a historian of Black protest movements. How unusual is what we’re seeing lately?

[One might ask, why is that the black protest movements always seem to have their roots in collectivism, socialism, and communism? Why is it that the so-called black leadership can be so easily bought off in return for a little personal power, recognition, and the proverbial thirty pieces of silver?]

A multiplicity of events led to the fact that this time is different. We’ve seen other videos of Black men being killed by the police, but we’ve never seen this kind of cascading series of events.

There was one protest within 24 hours. The New York Times had a breakdown of how that turned into over 4,700 separate protests, including many areas that are overwhelmingly white, where there are no Black people. States like Washington, Utah, Oregon, which we don’t typically associate as headquarters or bastions for Black demographics; or Vermont or Maine, that have all taken to the streets in terms of these demonstrations.

During the largest days of protesting, you had 50,000 to 80,000 people in Philadelphia. It was just truly amazing. Unbelievable.

[OCS: No it is not amazing and it is not unbelievable. Especially when you consider the following factors.

One, the “peaceful” protests were infiltrated by hard-core, radical, well-trained, and well-funded “professional” activists and agitators that used well-known mob dynamics to create events which were then mischaracterized and amplified by the corrupt progressive mainstream media -- and the tacit acceptance by corrupt politicians who ordered law enforcement to stand-down.

Two, to believe that the majority of protestors outside of the United States even knew of George Floyd is doubtful. If you scan the crowd, most of the participants were white college participants out to participate in a historic cultural event. Of course, the anarchists and looters had their own reasons for participation.

And three, let us not forget that Oregon seems to be the domestic domicile of Antifa, mostly comprised of violent anarchists who think nothing of inciting violence and then fading into the mob.]

What’s behind a response on this scale?

It’s a confluence, a cascade of events. Obviously, 1963 and 1968 are important, but also the election of Barack Obama. The first Black Lives Matter movement in 2013 and 2014 after Trayvon Martin, after Michael Brown and Eric Garner. The election of the current president. The racial disparities that the pandemics amplify, including unemployment, are very important. The easing of shelter in place at the precise time that the Amy Cooper and George Floyd videos went viral.

[OCS: Barack Obama was perhaps the first communist president of the United States, a corrupt man who sought to divide rather than unite, a man who openly disparaged America and promoted identity politics. As for Trayvon Martin and Martin Brown – they were criminals and not martyrs. In fact, Trayvon Martin appears to be an accidental martyr because the mainstream media did not immediately recognize that George Zimmerman was a man of color and whipped up a frenzy of racist allegations.

Black Lives Matter is a communist front organization led by self-described “trained Marxists and community organizers.”]

The women’s marches, the March for Our Lives and the various mobilizations that we’ve seen are part of it, other iterations of marches and social movements that primed young people to come to the fore. Another thing that’s primed people is DACA [Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals], or DAPA [Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents], people wanting immigrants and undocumented people to be treated well. The cruelty of the treatment of families being detained by ICE definitely struck a chord.

[OCS: These are all far-left events and the talking points are provided by the progressive socialist democrats. Let us not forget that we are speaking of illegal aliens with no right to be in the country. Bringing your children over the border is an act of child abuse while engaged in criminal behavior.]

There are also veterans and true believers, marathon runners who’ve been part of protests and demonstrations and antiracist movements for many decades.

[OCS: So? You can always find a fringe element in any group.]

How much are young people helping to move things forward?

Young people are taking the lead. They’re out on the streets, they’re very excited and inspired. It’s definitely something to see. They’re making history.

You saw this in the ’60s too, with the sit-in movements and the movement against racial segregation. Young people are a big, big part of it.

[OCS: Young people are not taking the lead … they are being lead by a hard-core cadre of socialists and communists – and being feted in the corrupt mainstream media.]

What’s the current dynamic between federal and local leadership?

The federal level is important, but states and local municipalities are going to have more room for leadership immediately. We’ve already seen it with New York taking a billion dollars of its police budget to go into anti-poverty programs and communities of color.

[OCS: The communist Mayor of New York has virtually destroyed much of the city and encouraged most of the violence. Look closely at those poverty programs and you will find that they mostly benefit corrupt special interests and are little more than vote-producing machines for the progressive socialist democrats.]

You’ve seen L.A. say $150 million. You’ve seen municipalities like Austin agree to do different things immediately to stop anti-Black violence. At the symbolic level, we see the monuments, the flags, NASCAR and the NFL saying “Black Lives Matter.”

[OCS: Saying black lives matter instead of ALL lives matter is overt racism.]

Hundreds and thousands of corporations are saying for the first time in history that they’re committed to anti-racism. We’ll now see through their actions, but even the public statements are important.

[OCS: Can you say virtue signaling so that executives keep their jobs and revenues keep flowing?]

What’s the power of such statements?

[OCS: Warning anti-Trump rhetoric below.]

We’ve seen with this presidential administration that rhetoric matters. Saying you’re pro-women, pro-immigration, pro-racial justice or economic justice matters. It gives people at the grassroots level a unifying vision if there are disparities between the rhetoric and the reality.

The Confederate flag matters in that sense. Racist monuments matter because they are reflecting a kind of dehumanization that is systematically embroidered into our public policy. They reflect larger policy decisions that have real impact on the way in which we all live.

The president calling nations “shithole countries,” the president saying people from Mexico are rapists, actually ends up mattering. It matters because once the president says that, it unleashes racial and other kinds of hatred and division that get amplified because the president of the United States said it.

We’re living through probably the first time in modern history where you have a White House where the shared values, the rhetorical values that have been embedded through the second World War and the civil rights movement really came tumbling down.

You had different interpretations of those shared values between, say, Lyndon Johnson and Ronald Reagan, or Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama. But when you look at that timeline, that continuum rhetorically, there’s a shared vision.

Public consensus is unbelievably important. What we’re seeing is that you have public consensus around human rights or civil rights or voting rights, rights for women, or gay marriage.

[OCS: How about public consensus around freedom, liberty, the right to be unmolested by the government, the right to a crime-free existence, and the God-given right of self-defense?

You punish individuals for specific transgressions, you do not kill a country and enslave its people.]

The only way a country can ever be what it proclaims to be is by saying those things, standing up those things, even if, because of imperfection, we find a thousand instances where the country is not living up to them.

What could be done at the local level to move toward ending systemic racism?

The first place to look is law enforcement and how much of your general revenue locally is going toward law enforcement, and reimagining public safety.

[OCS: Public safety is an absolute that does not need reimagining. You identify, prosecute and isolate criminals from their community. You continually strive to weed out the bad apples from any law enforcement organization while realizing that perfection only exists in the fevered minds of corrupt socialists and communists.

Remember, it is the socialist unions that hide and/or prevent the punishment of most public sector employees.]

It’s not saying you’re getting rid of cops. Many mayors already are investing and advocating for universal basic income for the poorest of their residents, mayors in California, across the country have said that.

I think that you start by looking at criminal justice, you start looking at your zoning, your density policies, where are those equitable and where are they not equitable. Look at voting access. Look at health care and health-care access.

[OCS: All progressive socialist democrat talking points that have nothing to do with holding an individual responsible for their own actions and to redress the greatest systemic failure in our history: political corruption.]

There are a lot of ways to think about equity, but ending systemic racism starts with criminal justice. It’s going to require a redistribution of power and resources in local municipalities. You would look to the federal government for leadership at some point to help accelerate that process but the leadership, as we see from the protests, is starting bottom up.

How does housing fit into this?

[OCS: The majority of homelessness is attributable to mental illness and/or drug addiction. But listen to the progressive talking points being spewed below.]

Homelessness is connected to all of this. One of the arguments that Black Lives Matter made in 2013 was that the criminal justice system in the United States was connected to a panoramic gateway of racial economic inequities and disparities that were connected to social welfare, housing, education, the environment, all these different things.

Housing is connected to criminal justice, when you think about the Clinton crime bill and the way the poor get criminalized. If you ever sold a dime bag of weed, you can never get public housing access again. And that real incalculable trauma that places on families and children whose parents are in prison in the United States.

Can you think of something that contributes to systemic racism that might seem innocuous, but is actually quite dangerous?

The cash bail system. It should be abolished. Money bail goes back to the convict lease system right after the Civil War, where Black men and women were arrested on questionable charges. They could not post bail because they were broke, and so they were leased out to private industries that paid local municipalities money per convict. That convict lease system continues all the way to this day with the cash bail system and its fines and fees.

[OCS: This is pure and utter bullshit. To immediately release a criminal back into the community to commit further crimes is immoral and insane.

You will note that the historical context, while true, has little or nothing to do with keeping the community safe today.]

The Justice Department published reports on Ferguson and Baltimore, how Black citizens were targeted with systemic racism to raise fines and fees so that the local government in Baltimore and then Ferguson wouldn’t have to raise taxes on white residents. It’s really extraordinary.

The whole criminal justice system has to be rethought. The reason why Black people are disproportionately represented in it is not because of pathology in the Black family, as popularly believed. It’s really because of white supremacy.

[OCS: This is the type of pure bullpucky that comes from progressive academics. Consider the moral basis of the family and its influence on the future success of children. Perhaps, nothing killed the nuclear family more than the democrat’s welfare policies. Even now, the leaders of the Black Lives Matter movement wants to abolish the nuclear family – perhaps to make all individuals responsible to the state. Absolute tyranny, not freedom, and certainly not equality.]

[OCS: It appears to me that the professor has a major interests in demagoguery on behalf of the progressive socialist democrats. Perhaps he should heed the words of Booker T. Washington about those who profit from keeping racial division alive.]

Peniel E. Joseph, Ph.D., is the founder of the Center for the Study of Race and Democracy at the University of Texas at Austin. He holds a joint professorship in the LBJ School of Public Affairs, as the Barbara Jordan Chair in Ethics and Political Values, and in the History Department of the University’s College of Liberal Arts.

Dr. Joseph is the author of several award-winning books, including Waiting’ Til the Midnight Hour: A Narrative History of Black Power in America, and Dark Days, Bright Nights: From Black Power to Barack Obama, and Stokely: A Life. His most recent book is The Sword and the Shield: The Revolutionary Lives of Malcolm X and Martin Luther King Jr.

The Sword and the Shield, was published in March. He also served as editor for The Black Power Movement: Rethinking the Civil Rights-Black Power Era and Neighborhood Rebels: Black Power at the Local Level.

Joseph is recognized as the founder of the “Black Power Studies” subfield of American Civil Rights History. He founded the center to focus interdisciplinary research and scholarship investigating how issues around race and democracy impact the lives of Americans. In an interview with Governing, he offers thoughts on the current cultural moment and how local governments might begin to address systemic racism.

Bottom line…

In my opinion, systemic racism is a mechanism to deflect attention from the failure of the existing political class, mainly those that govern the inner cities, and to provide a reason to re-elect these very same miscreants to power once again. And the good professor is simply part of the progressive socialist/communist democrat movement whose writings reflect a viewpoint that blacks are victims and somebody needs to do something to rescue them from their victimhood.

You will notice that their only prescription for the redress of inequity is not freedom, but the adoption of socialism and identity politics. Political corruption abounds.

We are so screwed.

YOUR PIECE OF THE AMERICAN DREAM IS ABOUT TO BE INVADED

For those of you who have worked hard to move out of apartments and cities and into your own patch of paradise, beware – radical progressive socialist/communist democrats are targeting your single-family home… democrat-suburbiaThere are generally two toxic housing concepts that drive the radical progressive socialist/communist democrat agenda.

(1)  That wealth inequality is racist and the inability for the poor and minorities to live in the suburbs is inherently racist,

(2)  That racism does not need to be proven, but is automatically assumed to be present if the number of individuals of color living in a community does not equal or exceed the proportion of the number of individuals of color occurring in the general population and is prima facie proof of racism and presents a disparate impact on those of the protected class being measured.

So, it is not unusual to find the mentally-impaired Joe Biden and the radical progressive socialist/communists attempting to implement these housing concepts by destroying suburban life.

From Biden’s platform…

biden-platformCory Booker’s explanation of “exclusionary zoning” under the HOME Act…

booker1Unless local municipalities knuckle-under to the federal government to alter zoning requirements, their access to significant federal funding would be curtailed or eliminated…

Biden and Dems Are Set to Abolish the Suburbs

That’s all bad enough. But on top of AFFH [Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing], Biden now plans to use Cory Booker’s strategy for attacking suburban zoning.

AFFH works by holding HUD’s Community Development Block Grants hostage to federal-planning demands. Suburbs won’t be able to get the millions of dollars they’re used to in HUD grants unless they eliminate single-family zoning and densify their business districts.

AFFH also forces HUD-grant recipients to sign pledges to “affirmatively further fair housing.” Those pledges could get suburbs sued by civil-rights groups, or by the feds, if they don’t get rid of single-family zoning.

The only defense suburbs have against this two-pronged attack is to refuse HUD grants. True, that will effectively redistribute huge amounts of suburban money to cities, but if they give up their HUD grants at least the suburbs will be free of federal control.

The Booker approach — now endorsed by Biden — may block even this way out.

Booker wants to hold suburban zoning hostage not only to HUD grants, but to the federal transportation grants used by states to build and repair highways. It may be next to impossible for suburbs to opt out of those state-run highway repairs. Otherwise, suburban roads will deteriorate and suburban access to major arteries will be blocked.

AFFH plus the Booker plan will leave America’s suburbs with no alternative but to eliminate their single-family zoning and turn over their planning to the feds. Slowly but surely, suburbs will become helpless satellites of the cities they surround, exactly as progressive urbanists intend. <Source>

The “why” is simple to understand…

It is all about political control over the population, including but not limited to housing, healthcare, employment, mobility, and your freedoms. By altering the political constituency of the suburbs, which generally acts as a counter-balance to majority-Democrat cities, the progressives can capture more of the suburb’s swing vote that holds their power in check. Consider high-rises in mini-downtowns located in restrictively zoned suburban areas, filled with rent-subsidized individuals who are willing to vote for the progressives, especially under coercion and ballot harvesting. Enough to make a progressive salivate. Even worse, tax money collected in the suburbs could be redistributed to the poorer parts of the city to purchase even more votes.

Bottom line…

For those middle-class suburban housewives who do not like President Trump or the way he Tweets, he may be the last thing standing between your home and a modern ghetto. When people, myself included, suggest that we are on the brink of destroying the America we know and love, we are not kidding. The radical progressive socialist/communist democrats have told us what they want to do – and even put it in writing. Believe them. They are not joking.

We are so screwed.

RAISING CHILDREN IN THE USA SUCKS

Few things piss me off more than progressive socialist democrats, those who hate our magnificent and exceptional country, and those who are all about pointing out America’s perceived failings. Of course, there is a particular dislike for those who aggregate numbers that they use to advance a negative narrative.

Consider this New York Post article based on a lifestyle website that has crunched some numbers and has come to the conclusion that America is not all that friendly to those wanting to raise children.

US ranked among worst countries to raise a family, study says

We get an “F” for family.

In case you thought America wasn’t experiencing enough turmoil of late, the United States has been named the second-worst wealthy nation in which to raise a family in 2020, according to new research by travel site Asher & Lyric.

“The first time I looked at the data, I was in disbelief,” co-founder Lyric Benson-Fergusson said of the findings in the “Raising a Family Index” (RAFI).

The Los Angeles-based mother of two started the site with her Aussie husband, Asher Fergusson, to help people “stay safe, healthy, and happy at home and while traveling,” per the website’s description.

To determine the most and least family-friendly countries, the couple rated 35 OECD countries (part of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development forum) according to safety, happiness, cost, health, education and time.

The US clocked in at an abysmal 34th place, just ahead of last-place finisher Mexico, whose murder rate jumped to the highest in nearly two years as drug cartels have run amok during the coronavirus lockdown. Leading the pack of overall fam-safe nations were Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Finland.

“I think if we, as Americans, are truly honest with ourselves, we might understand why the United States ranks solidly as the second-worst country to raise a family,” said Benson-Fergusson.

[OCS: To my way of thinking, whenever you see the words “honest” or “truth” used by a progressive media outlet, it is a red flag. I turn on my bullshit detector and prepare to re-visit the talking points of the progressive socialist democrats.]

Case in point: The red-white-and-blue came in dead last in terms of time — which the RAFI gauged by maternity leave, vacation days and other factors — and cost, as measured by out-of-pocket health spending, cost of living, income ratio and more.

[OCS: How many of those countries have a smaller, more homogenous population, more socialist and union-dominated governance, and generally do not have people tearing down their borders to enter the country?]

The study noted that the US is the only country that doesn’t require employers to offer maternity leave. Even worse, the average household blows 31.79% of their income on child care compared to the 4 to 10% spent by Scandinavian nations.

[OCS: Comparing the United States to Scandinavian nations is like comparing apples to motorcycles.]

Most surprising was America’s global safety rating, which was, according to the research, the second-poorest after Mexico.

Despite statistics showing that reported crimes have been on the decline nationwide, the US homicide rate is still eclipsed only by Mexico, per the research. And America reportedly tops the list in school shootings with a whopping 288 incidents from 2009 to 2018, with Mexico placing second at eight and all other countries recording zero, per the study.

[OCS: One, the crime statistics are fudged and do not accurately reflect the fact that most of the homicides are disproportionately located in the inner cities governed by progressive socialist democrats under the most stringent gun control regulations. Ironically, gun possession by felons or illegal aliens is rarely punished, criminals are released back into communities, and drug gangs rove the inner cities at will.

Two, it appears that school shootings have more to do with middle income white teens and young adults who are frequently prescribed psychotropic medicines and have severe mental health issues. Noteworthy is the fact that the inner cities, awash with guns – even fully automatic weapons – do not spawn school shootings by blacks or other minorities.

If you were serious about gun-related crime, you would lock up the criminals and prevent easy-peasy plea bargains of gun-related charges. ]

The Land of the Free also came in “fourth-worst” for human rights — here defined broadly across several categories including “protection against enslavement, the right to free speech and the right to education.”

[OCS: Last time I checked China had at least one-million Uyghurs in concentration camps, engaged in organ harvesting from unwilling participants, used child labor, and was a totally repressive regime. There is no question about free speech in the United States so that claim is bullpucky. As for the right to education, I seem to remember that public school is mandatory, low-cost community colleges abound, and it is the radical progressive democrats that are pushing “free college.”]

The Fergussons attributed the United States’ nationwide mood dip to record “income disparities,” 20% of Americans suffering from mental health issues each year and a suicide rate that has “increased by 33% between 1999 to 2017.”

[OCS: Made worse by the repressive actions of progressive socialist democrats. As for income disparities – I will address that below in my own version of an infographic chart.]

“I have come to the heartbreaking conclusion that America is a deeply challenged and troubled country,” Benson-Fergusson lamented. “It doesn’t, and maybe never did, line up with its own ideology.”

My aspiration is that something will substantially change in my children’s lifetime,” she said. <Source>

[OCS: Pack your dissatisfied ass up and move to one of the “better” countries on your list. Additionally, if you notice, the inner cities and many major metropolitan areas have been governed by progressive democrats for decades with little or no improvement – and voting for these miscreants is unlikely to change anything in the future.

For the New York Post: It seems that your Marx-spouting communist Mayor and idiot-governor are rapidly destroying New York while all of you useful idiots clap and claim America is such a bad place.

Check it out for yourself …   Raising a Family Index.

rafc

After reading this, I am convinced that anyone can pull numbers out of their ass, so I decided to make my own infographic, which roughly corresponds to Pareto’s Principle, better known as the 20/80 rule…

pareto-usa

My conclusions are simple:

(1) It sucks to be poor – even though the most impoverished American is likely to be far richer than many of the poorest individuals in other nations. (I have always wondered where the poor got their iPhones and large-screen televisions.)

(2) Human nature is based on inequality (weak vs. strong, smart vs. dumb, able vs. disabled, rich vs. poor, etc.) and that the only thing equal about socialism and communism is shared misery.

Bottom line…

Get on with your badass and depart from the nation to the communist paradise of your choosing. Perhaps, China, Russia, Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, or any of the strict Muslim countries will be more to your liking. Try out your free speech and demand your rights to maternity leave, healthcare, and free school.

We are so screwed.

THE ELITE POOHBAHS WANT TO USE A CRISIS TO IMPLEMENT SOCIALISM/COMMUNISM...

Is this the world you want to hand to your children?

reset-generational

If you believe that all of the grand poohbahs of politics, commerce, and wealth simply attend the expensive World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland, to see and be seen, you are wrong. They are there in a quasi-social setting to be indoctrinated into global socialism.

Consider one of the WEF’s latest articles, “Now is the time for a ‘great reset”…

They start off parroting Rahm Emanuel’s famous dictum, “In every crisis, there is an opportunity”

NOW IS THE TIME FOR A ‘GREAT RESET’

There are many reasons to pursue a Great Reset, but the most urgent is COVID-19. Having already led to hundreds of thousands of deaths, the pandemic represents one of the worst public-health crises in recent history. And, with casualties still mounting in many parts of the world, it is far from over.

This will have serious long-term consequences for economic growth, public debt, employment, and human wellbeing.

All of this will exacerbate the climate and social crises that were already underway. Some countries have already used the COVID-19 crisis as an excuse to weaken environmental protections and enforcement. And frustrations over social ills like rising inequality – US billionaires’ combined wealth has increased during the crisis – are intensifying.

[OCS: Let us not forget, the climate change effort was all about taking control of a nation’s economy and overriding its sovereignty. Many of the proposed environmental protections do nothing to change the climate but were naked power grabs.

I find it deeply ironic that Marxist class warfare and wealth inequality are being served up to the billionaires and multi-millionaires in the status-seeking audience with a wink-and-a-nod that their elite status will protect them from the ravages of any global reset into socialism.]

Left unaddressed, these crises, together with COVID-19, will deepen and leave the world even less sustainable, less equal, and more fragile. Incremental measures and ad hoc fixes will not suffice to prevent this scenario. We must build entirely new foundations for our economic and social systems.

[OCS: I wonder how many of those monarchs, dictators, and technology billionaires really want a more equal world? If that was true, why do the tech billionaires pay their systems engineers more than janitors? Why do Saudi princes tear around Beverly Hills in new Ferraris while their fellow citizens starve? And, for the numerous Communist Chinese in attendance, how about those Uighurs?

When Europeans speak of new foundations, it is almost always a reference to a new form of failed socialism – this time under their guidance to ensure success.]

The level of cooperation and ambition this implies is unprecedented. But it is not some impossible dream. In fact, one silver lining of the pandemic is that it has shown how quickly we can make radical changes to our lifestyles. Almost instantly, the crisis forced businesses and individuals to abandon practices long claimed to be essential, from frequent air travel to working in an office.

[OCS: People were afraid for their lives, made more urgent by sometimes false and misleading government statements amplified by the media. To believe Americans would voluntarily cede their constitutional rights to the government post-crisis is to surrender our nation to the global socialists and communists, often one in the same thing.]

Likewise, populations have overwhelmingly shown a willingness to make sacrifices for the sake of health-care and other essential workers and vulnerable populations, such as the elderly. And many companies have stepped up to support their workers, customers, and local communities, in a shift toward the kind of stakeholder capitalism to which they had previously paid lip service.

[OCS: People do sacrifice and assist others in a genuine existential crisis, but not in a phony crisis ginned-up by some European socialists.

For those who are unfamiliar with the term “stakeholder capitalism,” it is a term designed to grant decision-making input and power to those who do not create or invest in enterprises. Management is accountable to their Board of Directors and their investors, not their employees, unions, or members of the community.]

Clearly, the will to build a better society does exist. We must use it to secure the Great Reset that we so badly need. That will require stronger and more effective governments, though this does not imply an ideological push for bigger ones. And it will demand private-sector engagement every step of the way.

[OCS: Stronger governments are more authoritarian governments that tend to curtail individual rights and freedoms. Yes, these governments will DEMAND private-sector engagement at the risk of fines, incarcerations, or in extreme cases, armed force.]

The Great Reset agenda would have three main components. The first would steer the market toward fairer outcomes. To this end, governments should improve coordination (for example, in tax, regulatory, and fiscal policy), upgrade trade arrangements, and create the conditions for a “stakeholder economy.” At a time of diminishing tax bases and soaring public debt, governments have a powerful incentive to pursue such action.

[OCS: A fair market implies an agreement between a willing buyer and seller. The fair outcome these socialists propose is to siphon-off a significant portion of the profits to support an incompetent and inefficient government bureaucracy and fuel their ability to engage in the type of wealth redistribution that translates into political power to keep them in charge of the dunghill. One would assume that governments would first curtail unnecessary spending and shed non-essential personnel and waste, fraud, and abuse.]

Moreover, governments should implement long-overdue reforms that promote more equitable outcomes. Depending on the country, these may include changes to wealth taxes, the withdrawal of fossil-fuel subsidies, and new rules governing intellectual property, trade, and competition.

[OCS: This is most definitely not free nor fair markets. This is wealth confiscation and redistribution.]

The second component of a Great Reset agenda would ensure that investments advance shared goals, such as equality and sustainability. Here, the large-scale spending programs that many governments are implementing represent a major opportunity for progress. The European Commission, for one, has unveiled plans for a €750 billion ($826 billion) recovery fund. The US, China, and Japan also have ambitious economic-stimulus plans.

[OCS: A word-salad signifying nothing but confiscatory taxes and wealth redistribution.]

Rather than using these funds, as well as investments from private entities and pension funds, to fill cracks in the old system, we should use them to create a new one that is more resilient, equitable, and sustainable in the long run. This means, for example, building “green” urban infrastructure and creating incentives for industries to improve their track record on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics.

[OCS: Well, there goes your pension fund. There are no green and sustainable projects that are profitable without government subsidies and mandated usage. Consider Ethanol, which damages vehicle engines, raises food prices, and is little more than another farm subsidy to capture votes from agribusiness.]

The third and final priority of a Great Reset agenda is to harness the innovations of the Fourth Industrial Revolution to support the public good, especially by addressing health and social challenges. During the COVID-19 crisis, companies, universities, and others have joined forces to develop diagnostics, therapeutics, and possible vaccines; establish testing centers; create mechanisms for tracing infections; and deliver telemedicine. Imagine what could be possible if similar concerted efforts were made in every sector.

[OCS: This happens naturally and without government intervention – except in the largest of the major cooperative projects where the costs of innovation are socialized and paid for by public funds, and the profits are privatized and siphoned-off by major institutions and corporations.]

Bottom Line...

When the elite academics, especially those from Europe, start lecturing Americans on the necessity to cede our constitutional freedoms, it is time to tell them to shut up and step off. As for the tech billionaires, there is always the opportunity to impose anti-monopoly fines and break-up orders that would promote a “fairer outcome” for smaller enterprises. The sword cuts both ways.

The legislation already is in place to allow bail-ins where a depository institution uses their depositor’s money to avoid a failure requiring a government bail-out, a provision for negative interest rates at the Federal Reserve, and the mechanism to capture a Wall Street transition tax. And, if the progressive socialist democrats sweep control of the government, these are likely scenarios.

We are so screwed.

SCAMS: HERPES AND THE DEMOCRATS

If there is anything I hate worse than the radical progressive socialist democrats who are trying to fundamentally transform our nation’s healthcare system, it is the purveyors of medical information which make outrageous claims that give false hope to disease sufferers.

Especially those who are ill-informed or who are suffering enough to try anything, no matter how outrageous or unlikely. Many sold as either medical secrets that are being suppressed by physicians or the big pharmaceutical companies.

If there were treatments that were both cheap and effective, it would be well-known to the medical community and recommended without hesitation by physicians whose goal is to care for their patients.

SCAM ALERT: Herpes Cure Scams More Than A Pain In The Lip

Bottom line…

There are relatively few medical miracles and many of them come from anecdotal accounts by individuals who may believe they have been cured – mostly instances of the placebo effect. Medical researchers compete to publish theeir ground-breaking results in journals, not hide them in cheesy books. Some of the cures involve compounds associated with animal or human research studies, but the advertised supplements may only provide a trace amount of an investigational substance – not the actual dose needed to achieve a therapeutic result.

Anybody who believes that there is an alternative to conventional medicine can be scammed. Consider Apple’s Steve Jobs, smart, rich, and having access to the finest healthcare in the world. He believed that diet could cure his pancreatic cancer. Unfortunately he delayed seeking conventional medical care – and it killed him, possibly sooner rather than later.

I have two pieces of advice that might save your life. One, according to the Better Business Bureau, you should always INVESTIGATE BEFORE YOU INVEST. And two, vote for the GOP in 2020 to avoid destroying the healthcare system as we know it. Under the radical progressive socialist democrats, healthcare delivery will not get better, but uniformly worse. Think of a Medicaid welfare program for all. If you believe that the government can manage healthcare, consider what they have done to our veterans and American Indians.

BTW: DO NOT FALL PREY TO THE SCAMMERS OFFERING FREE COVID-19 MASKS IN EXCHANGE FOR YOUR MEDICARE OR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER.
