Friend -- I'm sorry to be so frank but I'm disappointed. Let me explain:

[OCS: Why are we friends, I barely know who you are? Sorry to tell the truth in a clear, understandable manner? Why would anyone apologize for doing what should be standard practice?]

1. House Democrats in toss-up districts outraised our Conservative allies over 200%

[OCS: It wasn’t the lack of money that resulted in flipped seats. It was the selection of piss poor GOP politicians, lack of a unified platform, inconsistent messaging, refusal to push back against media distortions, and, in some cases, voter fraud that was never pursued by the party.]

2. Our chances of retaking the House were just downgraded... AGAIN

[OCS: Downgraded – you mean by dishonest and criminal acts by GOP representatives? Or those without the guts to fight? Or traitors to the GOP like Justin Amash who deserted the GOP to join the opposition?]

3. We simply don't have the cash reserves we need to compete in must-win districts

[OCS: President Trump proved that you do not necessarily need cash to dominate the media or build a first-rate campaign team. I find this statement disingenuous because you are raising money for YOUR reelection bid and nobody else. Why should I donate to your campaign – you have said nothing about yourself, your beliefs, or your past performance?]

Listen, I wouldn't be coming to you directly unless the situation was extremely urgent. Whoever controls the House will be decided by a handful of seats and right now I don’t like our chances.

[OCS: Surprise! It’s always urgent and the issue is always critical. I wonder if they have ever heard of the “Boy who cried wolf syndrome?]
