PELOSI'S SCHIFF SHOW - 1

As we said in yesterday’s blog post, (PELOSI'S SHIFF SHOW IS ABOUT TO CONTINUE), The next attack on Donald Trump by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her cadre of un-American progressive socialist democrats has begun…”

Pelosi announces new House committee to oversee Trump administration coronavirus response

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Thursday announced a new House select committee to oversee the Trump administration’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.

On a conference call with reporters, the California Democrat said House Majority Whip James Clyburn, D-S.C., will lead the panel. Pelosi said the committee, which will include Democrats and Republicans, will oversee the Trump administration’s handling of the $2 trillion relief package passed last week and the government’s ongoing response to the crisis.

[OCS: James Clyburn is a racist who views everything through the prism of race and is an ardent foe of President Trump – hardly the man to lead an impartial committee.]

“We face a deadly virus and a battered economy with millions of Americans suddenly out of work,” Pelosi said. “Congress has taken an important step in leading this crisis by passing three bills with over $2 trillion in emergency relief. We need to ensure those dollars are spent carefully and effectively.”

The speaker said the committee “will root out waste, fraud and abuse” and “protect against price-gouging, profiteering and political favoritism.” It will also try to ensure the U.S. response to the outbreak is “based on the best possible science” and the advice of leading health experts, Pelosi said.  <Source>

[OCS: This is beyond ironic, as most of the waste, fraud, and abuse in government programs can be attributed to Democrats and it was Nancy Pelosi who larded-up the “emergency” pandemic with political pork having nothing to do with the economy or pandemic response. Once again, this is a great example of projection where the Democrats accuse others of doing what they have done.]

From the New York Times…

Jared Kushner Is Going to Get Us All Killed: Trump’s son-in-law has no business running the coronavirus response.

Reporting on the White House’s herky-jerky coronavirus response, Vanity Fair’s Gabriel Sherman has a quotation from Jared Kushner that should make all Americans, and particularly all New Yorkers, dizzy with terror.

According to Sherman, when New York’s governor, Andrew Cuomo, said that the state would need 30,000 ventilators at the apex of the coronavirus outbreak, Kushner decided that Cuomo was being alarmist. “I have all this data about I.C.U. capacity,” Kushner reportedly said. “I’m doing my own projections, and I’ve gotten a lot smarter about this. New York doesn’t need all the ventilators.” (Dr. Anthony Fauci, the country’s top expert on infectious diseases, has said he trusts Cuomo’s estimate.)

[OCS: Let us remember: (1) the assumptions that drive projections have been grossly wrong – especially from the first epidemiological models at London’s Imperial College. (2) It was Andrew Cuomo who was ill-prepared for a mass casualty event in the nation’s largest, densest, multi-cultural, and cosmopolitan city. (3) It is not the president’s responsibility to do for an individual state that which the state refuses to do for themselves. With 50 states competing for resources, it is up to the governors to prepare for natural and man-made disasters.

But even worse, it was Andrew Cuomo who had the ventilators in a warehouse stockpile and was not distributing them to care facilities where they were allegedly needed.]

Even now, it’s hard to believe that someone with as little expertise as Kushner could be so arrogant, but he said something similar on Thursday, when he made his debut at the White House’s daily coronavirus briefing: “People who have requests for different products and supplies, a lot of them are doing it based on projections which are not the realistic projections.”

Kushner has succeeded at exactly three things in his life. He was born to the right parents, married well and learned how to influence his father-in-law. Most of his other endeavors — his biggest real estate deal, his foray into newspaper ownership, his attempt to broker a peace deal between the Israelis and the Palestinians — have been failures. <Source>

[OCS: Can you see the outline of the attack – President Trump shirked his duty to protect Americans and abdicated responsibility to a know-nothing dilettante. Of course, to believe this you would have to ignore Trump’s daily brief where he is surrounded by experts providing expert advice. But then again, some media outlets are refusing to carry the brief of editorializing its content by selective editing.]

From the blogosphere…

Ex-GOP Strategist Says Two Tweets Could Doom Trump In November

TWO-TWEETS

“Never Trump conservative Tim Miller, in a new article for The Bulwark, argues that Democrats could doom Trump’s campaign with tweets from earlier this year: one from Trump, the other from Democratic Sen. Chris Murphy of Connecticut.”

“With pain and devastation at that scale, nothing else is going to break through. The election will hinge on one question: did Donald Trump do everything a president should have done to keep America safe from the pandemic?”

“The campaign battle lines have already been drawn. The case against Trump is this: bottom line, they aren’t taking this seriously enough.” <Source>

[OCS: The questions that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her cadre of progressive socialist democrats refuse to ask…

(1)  What are the constitutional limits on the President’s power to override state emergency plans and stockpiles that are the responsibility of the individual state governors?

(2)  Why is President Donald Trump being held responsible for the actions of the previous administration where President Barack Obama failed to replenish the stockpile of emergency supplies or those of the state governors who diverted allocated emergency funds into other politically and socially acceptable projects?

(3)  Why was President Trump widely demonized by the un-American progressive socialist democrats as a racist and xenophobe when he implemented travel bans to and from virus-infected areas early on while at the same time the Democrats were urging open borders and mingling in crowds? Pelosi herself was recorded asking for people to visit San Francisco's Chinatown and mingle in the crowds.

(4)  Why will the majority of Republicans not stand up and push back against the Democrats with a timeline and montage of Democrat behavior during the early days of the pandemic?]

Bottom line…

Do not be surprised if you hear the un-American progressive socialist democrats reverting to their old chants: “Hey Hey, Ho Ho, Trump’s got to go,” “Trump lied and people died,” or the newest one, “Hey Trump …We got the gloves. We got the masks. We’ve got the liberal media on your ass.”

There is nothing more despicable than the Democrats attempting to use a life-threatening pandemic to push their radical socialist agenda and to continue the destruction of America from within on behalf of our enemies. Already you can see the Democrats and the mainstream media pushing communist Chinese propaganda.

We are so screwed.
