TRUMP IMPEACHMENT: SCHIFF AND DEMOCRATS FLIP-OFF AMERICA
Adam Schiff opened the Senate impeachment trial of President Trump with a display of hubris, hypocrisy, and the lack of honesty…
Consider that House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) continuously proclaims that the evidence against President Donald Trump is “conclusive, overwhelming and uncontested.” Yet, he claims that the impeachment trial demands additional witnesses and documents to proceed.
If we take Schiff at his word, always a wrong move when faced with a congenital liar, the case is already “overwhelming and beyond a reasonable doubt” – so why can’t he present his case and let the chips fall where they may.
He has already characterized the work of the House Majority Democrats as fair – even though the President was denied “due process,” the Republican Minority’s role was severely restricted, and that Schiff refused to produce the so-called whistleblower and the deposition of the Intelligence Community Inspector General. Or explain his and his Committee’s involvement, some say conspiracy, with the whistleblower before filing the complaint, which was used to start the entire Ukraine impeachment effort.
Bottom line…
The only question pending is: will the Republican Majority stick together against the Democrats, uphold their sworn duties, or can they be bribed or compromised by the intelligence or law enforcement community to assist in protecting the Obama Administration from serious criminal charges that would enrage Americans.
We are so screwed.
