2020: ONE CITIZEN SPEAKING WISHES YOU A HEALTHY, HAPPY, AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR

REBOOT: THE BEST YEAR-END ACTIONS

As we countdown the hours, looking forward to 2020 …COUNTDOWN

Four suggestions …

(1)  Backup what is important to you. Decide what is important, necessary, and useful; and decide to discard the rest – possibly donating to a reputable charity or simply gifting them to individuals who can use the items.

(2)  Reboot your life. For those you who do not understand what happens when you re-boot a computer, all of the information stored in volatile memory is lost along with any temporary settings. Likewise, reboot – give up all of those grudges and temporary upsets and concentrate on what is important: your health, your peace of mind, and the maintenance of reciprocal and supportive relationships in your family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, and community.

(3)  Forget the concept of “New Year’s Resolutions” in favor of habits. Researchers have told us that habits trump goals. Goals may change as the journey proceeds or your achieve your goal, but habits persist. And, let’s be realistic, we also need to eliminate any of the negative habits we may have developed over the years.

(4)  Question everything objectively. We can no longer rely on governmental or media information without question. Consider for yourself the credibility of the source and who is profiting from the tale being spun.

Bottom line…

Wishing you and yours a healthy, prosperous, and safe new year. And, remember -- this is the year you need to get everyone to vote to save your life, Constitution, and tour. country
