It makes you wonder why someone would be in the water in the Sepulveda Basin after midnight on Christmas. It is likely that the rescued man was part of the homeless encampment on the banks of the Los Angeles River in the Sepulveda Basin and was caught by swiftly moving water down the flood control channel after heavy rain in the area.
Bottom line…
No matter. The great Los Angeles Fire Department’s Swift Water Rescue Team was available to save their life and look for other victims.
For those illegal aliens who think Los Angeles sucks, try this stunt in your country.
