KILLING THE CONSTITUTION: NO MORE CHECKS & BALANCES OR SEPARATION OF POWERS

Today is Halloween 2019 and the Congressional Democrats have tricked America …

From today’s vote on the Democrat House Committee Impeachment Inquiry, we have learned the Speaker of the House is a King (Yes, King is the right term given the size of Nancy Pelosi’s brass balls) who can unilaterally declare a President illegitimate or guilty of some unspecified crime. Opening a wide-ranging inquiry to find a suitable crime to legitimize the proceedings and using a majority vote to ratify the sham proceedings after the fact with a one-sided resolution codifying that the minority has limited powers granted by majority fiat.

NPCA

We are fast approaching the same one-party rule that has turned the formerly Golden State of California in the cultural and economic wasteland of a third-world nation in the areas governed by progressive socialist democrats. It is ironic that the media excoriates the GOP for disenfranchising black voters, but says nothing when the progressive socialist democrats disenfranchise nearly 48% of the nation with their unconstitutional antics and criminal activities.

Bottom line …

It appears that the House majority will impeach the President, if for no other reason that to stop the investigations that will destroy former President Obama’s legacy and see many of his associates fighting prosecution. Some have suggested that this is a hardball negotiating tactic while others believe that it is simply a way to develop opposition research and diminish Trump’s favorability ratings.

Either way, it is up to the Senate to hold the House in check.

And, up to the American voters to rebuke the progressive socialist democrats who are trying to destroy America from within.

We are so screwed,

THE WHISTLEBLOWER: PULLING THE THREAD THAT UNRAVELS THE SWEATER?

Could it be that one of history’s greatest efforts to thwart a presidential election and to engage in a silent coup d'état to overthrow the duly-elected President of the United States could have originated in the White House, with the cooperation of the highest-ranking officials in Obama administration? And even worse, many of the details of criminal activities and political wrongdoing were known to the mainstream media and deliberately suppressed or concealed by misleading information?

Circumstantial evidence is a curious animal – little or no direct evidence has been revealed, but the bits-and-pieces of a situation fit together in a picture as complex as a jigsaw puzzle.

What we know from published media reports…

**  An as yet officially unidentified individual, said to be a CIA analyst, was tasked to work on the National Security Council within the White House.

**  This individual did in fact file a “whistleblower” complaint with the Inspector General for the Intelligence Community (IGIC).

**  The complaint appears to lack legitimacy because the activities reported to the IGIC were not related to employees or actions of the intelligence community and the IGIC does not have oversight or any official function within the Office of the Presidency.

**  The complaint, written in a complex style produced by highly-skilled attorneys’ was based on hearsay evidence and published open-source media items.

**  The complaint did not correctly characterize the subject of the complaint, the falsity of which was revealed when President Trump declassified a “memorandum-like transcript” of the subject event.

**  It appears that the “whistleblower form” was altered surreptitiously by someone in the IGIC’s office and backdated. The alteration allowed for the submission of second-hand information whereas the previous form required first-hand information to be presented. The audit trail of the modifications to the “whistleblower form” are still shrouded in mystery and the IGIC appears to be unwilling to answer straightforward questions about the form posed by legislators.

**  It appeared that the “whistleblower form” did not note the individual’s prior contact with staff members of the House Intelligence Committee, a requirement of the filing. Possibly with former like-minded colleagues who have been recruited to work for Schiff’s committee much in the same manner the Robert Mueller recruited virulently anti-Trump investigators and prosecutors for his Office of the Special Counsel.

**  The “whistleblower form” must be signed under the “penalty of perjury.”

**  Adam Schiff, Chair of the House Intelligence Committee, has taken every precaution to avoid revealing the “whistleblowers” name and even thought the information they provided triggered impeachment hearings, continues to protect this individual to the extent of restricting the questioning of those who may have interacted with the “whistleblower” by minority committee members. Potentially a form of witness-tampering?

What has been bandied about on the Internet, following the bread crumbs left by the media and select government officials…

**  The individual appears to be a white male, a Yale graduate, who served in the Obama Administration, and was associated with individuals complicit in conducting opposition research against Donald Trump, high-ranking officials of the intelligence, law-enforcement, and diplomatic services, and apparently had a working relationship with former Vice President Joseph Biden in matters involving Ukraine politics. The individual was thought to have exhibited anti-Trump behavior and leaked White House/Oval Office information to third-parties.

** The individual served the Obama administration during the height of Ukraine corruption but apparently did not see the need to file any complaints at that time.

** The individual was associated or had a working relationship with Susan Rice, Joe Biden, John Brennan, James Clapper, Victoria Nuland, and James Comey.

So who might the “whistleblower” be?

Google the name Eric Ciaramella.

It may not be that secret according to RealClearInvestigations…

How 'Whistleblower' May Be Outed: Ties to Biden, Brennan, Schiff's Staff, Etc.

By Paul Sperry, RealClearInvestigations

For a town that leaks like a sieve, Washington has done an astonishingly effective job keeping from the American public the name of the anonymous “whistleblower" who triggered impeachment proceedings against President Trump — even though his identity is an open secret inside the Beltway.

More than two months after the official filed his complaint, pretty much all that’s known publicly about him is that he is a CIA analyst who at one point was detailed to the White House and is now back working at the CIA.

But the name of a government official fitting that description — Eric Ciaramella — has been raised privately in impeachment depositions, according to officials with direct knowledge of the proceedings, as well as in at least one open hearing held by a House committee not involved in the impeachment inquiry. Fearing their anonymous  witness could be exposed, Democrats this week blocked Republicans from asking more questions about him and intend to redact his name from all deposition transcripts.

RealClearInvestigations is disclosing the name because of the public’s interest in learning details of an effort to remove a sitting president from office. Further, the official's status as a “whistleblower” is complicated by his being a hearsay reporter of accusations against the president, one who has “some indicia of an arguable political bias … in favor of a rival political candidate" -- as the Intelligence Community Inspector General phrased it circumspectly in originally fielding his complaint.

Federal documents reveal that the 33-year-old Ciaramella, a registered Democrat held over from the Obama White House, previously worked with former Vice President Joe Biden and former CIA Director John Brennan, a vocal critic of Trump who helped initiate the Russia “collusion” investigation of the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.

Further, Ciaramella (pronounced char-a-MEL-ah) left his National Security Council posting in the White House’s West Wing in mid-2017 amid concerns about negative leaks to the media. He has since returned to CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia.

“He was accused of working against Trump and leaking against Trump,” said a former NSC official, speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss intelligence matters.

Also, Ciaramella huddled for “guidance” with the staff of House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, including former colleagues also held over from the Obama era whom Schiff’s office had recently recruited from the NSC. (Schiff is the lead prosecutor in the impeachment inquiry.)

And Ciaramella worked with a Democratic National Committee operative who dug up dirt on the Trump campaign during the 2016 election, inviting her into the White House for meetings, former White House colleagues said. The operative, Alexandra Chalupa, a Ukrainian-American who supported Hillary Clinton, led an effort to link the Republican campaign to the Russian government. “He knows her. He had her in the White House,” said one former co-worker, who requested anonymity to discuss the sensitive matter.

Documents confirm the DNC opposition researcher attended at least one White House meeting with Ciaramella in November 2015.  She visited the White House with a number of Ukrainian officials lobbying the Obama administration for aid for Ukraine.

With Ciaramella’s name long under wraps, interest in the intelligence analyst has become so high that a handful of former colleagues have compiled a roughly 40-page research dossier on him. A classified version of the document is circulating on Capitol Hill, and briefings have been conducted based on it. One briefed Republican has been planning to unmask the whistleblower in a speech on the House floor.

On the Internet, meanwhile, Ciaramella's name for weeks has been bandied about on Twitter feeds and intelligence blogs as the suspected person who blew the whistle on the president. The mainstream media are also aware of his name.

“Everyone knows who he is. CNN knows. The Washington Post knows. The New York Times knows. Congress knows. The White House knows. Even the president knows who he is,” said Fred Fleitz, a former CIA analyst and national security adviser to Trump, who has fielded dozens of calls from the media.

Yet a rare hush has swept across the Potomac. The usually gossipy nation’s capital remains uncharacteristically — and curiously — mum, especially considering the magnitude of this story, only the fourth presidential impeachment inquiry in U.S. history.

Trump supporters blame the conspiracy of silence on a “corrupt” and "biased” media trying to protect the whistleblower from due scrutiny about his political motives. They also complain Democrats have falsely claimed that exposing his identity would violate whistleblower protections, even though the relevant statute provides limited, not blanket, anonymity – and doesn’t cover press disclosures. His Democrat attorneys, meanwhile, have warned that outing him would put him and his family “at risk of harm," although government security personnel have been assigned to protect him.

“They’re hiding him,” Fleitz asserted. “They’re hiding him because of his political bias."

A CIA officer specializing in Russia and Ukraine, Ciaramella was detailed over to the National Security Council from the agency in the summer of 2015, working under Susan Rice, President Obama’s national security adviser. He also worked closely with the former vice president.

Federal records show that Biden’s office invited Ciaramella to an October 2016 state luncheon the vice president hosted for Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi. Other guests included Brennan, as well as then-FBI Director James Comey and then-National Intelligence Director James Clapper.

Several U.S. officials told RealClearInvestigations that the invitation that was extended to Ciaramella, a relatively low-level GS-13 federal employee, was unusual and signaled he was politically connected inside the Obama White House.

Former White House officials said Ciaramella worked on Ukrainian policy issues for Biden in 2015 and 2016, when the vice president was President Obama's "point man" for Ukraine. A Yale graduate, Ciaramella is said to speak Russian and Ukrainian, as well as Arabic. He had been assigned to the NSC by Brennan.

He was held over into the Trump administration, and headed the Ukraine desk at the NSC, eventually transitioning into the West Wing, until June 2017.

“He was moved over to the front office” to temporarily fill a vacancy, said a former White House official, where he “saw everything, read everything.”

The official added that it soon became clear among NSC staff that Ciaramella opposed the new Republican president’s foreign policies. “My recollection of Eric is that he was very smart and very passionate, particularly about Ukraine and Russia. That was his thing – Ukraine,” he said. “He didn’t exactly hide his passion with respect to what he thought was the right thing to do with Ukraine and Russia, and his views were at odds with the president’s policies.”

“So I wouldn’t be surprised if he was the whistleblower,” the official said.

In May 2017, Ciaramella went “outside his chain of command,” according to a former NSC co-worker, to send an email alerting another agency that Trump happened to hold a meeting with Russian diplomats in the Oval Office the day after firing Comey, who led the Trump-Russia investigation. The email also noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin had phoned the president a week earlier.

Contents of the email appear to have ended up in the media, which reported Trump boasted to the Russian officials about firing Comey, whom he allegedly called “crazy, a real nut job.”

In effect, Ciaramella helped generate the “Putin fired Comey” narrative, according to the research dossier making the rounds in Congress, a copy of which was obtained by RealClearInvestigations.

Ciaramella allegedly argued that “President Putin suggested that President Trump fire Comey,” the report said. “In the days after Comey’s firing, this presidential action was used to further political and media calls for the standup [sic] of the special counsel to investigate ‘Russia collusion.’ “

In the end, Special Counsel Robert Mueller found no conspiracy between Trump and Putin. Ciaramella’s email was cited in a footnote in his report, which mentions only Ciaramella’s name, the date and the recipients “Kelly et al.” Former colleagues said the main recipient was then-Homeland Security Director John Kelly.

Ciaramella left the Trump White House soon after Mueller was appointed. Attempts to reach Ciaramella were unsuccessful, although his father said in a phone interview from Hartford, where he is a bank executive, that he doubted his son was the whistleblower. “He didn’t have that kind of access to that kind of information,” Tony Ciaramella said. “He’s just a guy going to work every day.” The whistleblower's lawyers did not answer emails and phone calls seeking comment. CIA spokesman Luis Rossello declined comment, saying, “Anything on the whistleblower, we are referring to ODNI.” The Office of the Director of National Intelligence did not respond to requests for comment.

In his complaint, the whistleblower charged that the president used “the power of his office to solicit interference from a foreign country in the 2020 U.S. election.”  Specifically, he cited a controversial July 25 phone call from the White House residence in which Trump asked Ukraine’s new president to help investigate the origins of the Russia “collusion” investigation the Obama administration initiated against his campaign, citing reports that “a lot of it started with Ukraine," where the former pro-Hillary Clinton regime in Kiev worked with Obama diplomats and Chalupa to try to “sabotage” Trump’s run for president.

Later in the conversation, Trump also requested information about Biden and his son, since “Biden went around bragging that he” had fired the chief Ukrainian prosecutor at the time a Ukrainian oligarch, who gave Biden’s son a lucrative seat on the board of his energy conglomerate, was under investigation for corruption.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Intelligence Committee Chairman Schiff argued the whistleblower's complaint, though admittedly based on second-hand information, amounts to an impeachable offense, and they subsequently launched an impeachment inquiry that has largely been conducted in secret.

The whistleblower filed his “urgent” report against Trump with the I.C. inspector general on Aug. 12, but it was not publicly released until Sept. 26.

Prior to filing, he had met with Schiff’s Democratic staff for “guidance." At first, the California lawmaker denied the contacts, but later admitted that his office did, in fact, meet with the whistleblower early on.

Earlier this year, Schiff recruited two of Ciaramella’s closest allies at the NSC — both whom were also Obama holdovers -- to join his committee staff. He hired one, Sean Misko, in August — the same month the whistleblower complaint was filed.

During closed-door depositions taken in the impeachment inquiry, Misko has been observed handing notes to the lead counsel for the impeachment inquiry, Daniel Goldman, as he asks questions of Trump administration witnesses, officials with direct knowledge of the proceedings told RealClearInvestigations.

Republicans participating in the restricted inquiry hearings have been asking witnesses about Ciaramella and repeatedly injecting his name into the deposition record, angering Schiff and Democrats, who sources say are planning to scrub the references to Ciaramella from any transcripts of the hearings they may agree to release.

“Their reaction tells you something,” said one official familiar with the inquiry.

For example, sources said Ciaramella’s name was invoked by GOP committee members during the closed-door testimony of former NSC official Fiona Hill on Oct. 14. Ciaramella worked with Hill, another Obama holdover, in the West Wing.

During Tuesday’s deposition of NSC official Alexander Vindman, Democrats shut down a line of inquiry by Republicans because they said it risked revealing the identity of the whistleblower. Republicans wanted to know with whom Vindman spoke within the administration about his concerns regarding Trump’s call to Ukraine. But Schiff instructed the witness not to answer the questions, which reportedly sparked a shouting match between Democrats and Republicans.

Determined to keep the whistleblower's identity secret, Schiff recently announced it may not be necessary for him to testify even in closed session. Republicans argue that by hiding his identity, the public cannot assess his motives for striking out against the president. And they worry his political bias could color inquiry testimony and findings unless it’s exposed.

Rep. Jim Jordan, the top Republican on the House Oversight Committee, asserted the American people have the right to know the person who is trying to bring down the president for whom 63 million voted.

“It’s tough to determine someone’s credibility if you can’t put them under oath and ask them questions,” he said.

Added Jordan: “The people want to know. I want to get to the truth."

In an open House Natural Resources Committee hearing last week, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) seemingly out of left field asked a witness about “Eric Ciaramella of the Obama National Security Council,” in what the Washington press corps took as a bid to out the whistleblower. He later told a Dallas radio station he knew the whistleblower’s name. “A lot of us in Washington know who it is,” Gohmert said, adding he’s a “very staunch Democrat” who was “supposed to be a point person on Ukraine, during the time when Ukraine was its most corrupt, and he didn’t blow any whistles on their corruption."

The Washington Post ran a news story over the weekend critical of Republicans for allegedly trying to “unmask” the whistleblower, for attempting to do the job journalists would normally do. Last week, the paper ran an op-ed by the whistleblower’s attorneys claiming he was no longer relevant to the inquiry and beseeching the public to let their client slip back into obscurity.

For its part, the New York Times ran a story last month reporting details about the whistleblower’s background, but stopped short of fully identifying him, suggesting it didn’t know his politics or even his name. “Little else is known about him,” the paper claimed.

On Thursday, Democrats plan a House vote on new impeachment-inquiry rules that would give Republicans for the first time the ability to call their own witnesses. Only, their requests must first be approved by the Democrats. So there is a good chance the whistleblower, perhaps the most important witness of all, will remain protected from critical examination.

Bottom line…

If the so-called “whistleblower” turns out to be Eric Ciaramella, one might conclude that this is just another “hose job” to disadvantage or destroy President Trump prior to the 2020 election. Without a doubt, the Democrats must be held legally and politically accountable for their attempt at a silent coup d'état.

At the very least, sending the miscreants to prison for perjury, destruction of documents, suborning perjury, and other criminal activities such as violating the Espionage Act.

It is looking more like an Obama White House production – including a complicit and knowing Barack Obama.

We are so screwed.

WHITE HOUSE CALL METHODOLOGY: DECEPTIVE BY DESIGN?

There is something deeply disturbing about the appearance of Lt. Colonel Alexander S. Vindman before the House Intelligence Committee.

vindman

Excerpts from the New York Times…

White House Ukraine Expert Sought to Correct Transcript of Trump Call

Lt. Col. Alexander S. Vindman, who heard President Trump’s July phone call with Ukraine’s president and was alarmed, testified that he tried and failed to add key details to the rough transcript.

Lt. Col. Alexander S. Vindman, the top Ukraine expert on the National Security Council, told House impeachment investigators on Tuesday that the White House transcript of a July call between President Trump and Ukraine’s president omitted crucial words and phrases, and that his attempts to include them failed, according to three people familiar with the testimony.

[OCS: I find it almost impossible to believe that former President Nixon had a fully-functional taping system, yet the White House does not have a system to record important calls that should be part of the presidential records in the national archives? I also find it hard to believe that the NSA (National Security Agency) does not have an electronic copy of the call stored in its massive super-secret datacenter. Especially after learning from Edward Snowden that they are hoovering-up both domestic and foreign electronic communications.]

The omissions, Colonel Vindman said, included Mr. Trump’s assertion that there were recordings of former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. discussing Ukraine corruption, and an explicit mention by Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelensky, of Burisma Holdings, the energy company whose board employed Mr. Biden’s son Hunter.

[OCS: Why is this of any great import? Almost everybody who listens to the media has heard Joe Biden recount how he strong-armed the Ukrainian President in recorded remarks spoken in a public forum. Any one with access to YouTube can see Biden confess to threatening to withhold a billion-dollar American loan guarantee if a particular Ukrainian prosecutor was not fired.]

Colonel Vindman, who appeared on Capitol Hill wearing his dark blue Army dress uniform and military medals, told House impeachment investigators that he tried to change the reconstructed transcript made by the White House staff to reflect the omissions. But while some of his edits appeared to have been successful, he said, those two corrections were not made.

[OCS: If Vindman is a currently serving military officer, how is it that he can defy his Commander-in-Chief’s orders not to testify? He is not testifying to an illegal order, a war crime, or even an ordinary crime.

The military oath taken at the time of induction into the military is as follows:

"I,____________, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to the regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God"

When a military member is wearing the uniform and receiving a salary from the Department of Defense, that military member has essentially signed away his First Amendment rights granted by the Constitution.

The exact words of the Uniform Code of Military Justice Article 88 - Contempt Toward Public Officials states:

Any commissioned officer who uses contemptuous words against the President, the Vice President, Congress, the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of a military department, the Secretary of Transportation, or the Governor or legislature of any State, Territory, Commonwealth, or possession in which he is on duty or present shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.”]

Colonel Vindman did not testify to a motive behind the editing process. But his testimony is likely to drive investigators to ask further questions about how officials handled the call, including changes to the transcript and the decision to put it into the White House’s most classified computer system — and whether those moves were meant to conceal the conversation’s most controversial aspects.

[OCS: We have the so-called “transcript” which represents the consensus work product of those involved. Why do we need Colonel Vindman’s changes or his opinion on anything?]

There is no recording of the July 25 call by the American side. The White House uses note-takers listening in on the call as well as voice recognition software to create a rough transcript that is a close approximation of the call. But names and technical terms are frequently missed by the software, according to people familiar with the matter.

[OCS: I cannot believe that we do not have a contemporaneous tape unless the system is defective by design. With the number of foreign language translators and stenographers in the government's service, the process seems majorly flawed.]

After the call, Colonel Vindman was given a hard copy of the rough transcript to make updates and corrections, according to a person familiar with the matter. Colonel Vindman went through the transcript, made changes and gave his written edits to his boss, Mr. Morrison, according to the person.

[OCS: This should have been the end of the story. No Congressional appearance or testimony required. He did his job, passed the matter to his superior, and fulfilled his responsibility. If he felt this strongly, let him resign his commission and speak as a private individual.]

Meet Alexander Vindman, the Colonel Who Testified on Trump’s Phone Call

He fled Ukraine at age 3 and became a soldier, scholar and official at the White House. That’s where, he told impeachment investigators, he witnessed alarming behavior by President Trump.

In May, a month after Mr. Zelensky was elected president of Ukraine in a landslide victory, Mr. Trump asked the colonel to join the energy secretary, Rick Perry, to travel to Ukraine to attend the new president’s inauguration.

By July, Colonel Vindman had grown deeply concerned that administration officials were pressuring Mr. Zelensky to investigate Mr. Biden. That concern only intensified, he told investigators, when he listened in to the now-famous July 25 phone conversation between Mr. Zelensky and Mr. Trump.

[OCS: Military officers are supposed to be apolitical and not involved in partisan politics. That he was concerned about Biden is highly suspicious.]

I did not think it was proper to demand that a foreign government investigate a U.S. citizen,” he told investigators, “and I was worried about the implications for the U.S. government’s support of Ukraine.”

[OCS: The United States often requests foreign assistance in matters of espionage, corruption, money laundering, and tax evasion. The use of incentives and penalties is part and parcel of diplomacy and is a routine practice to secure cooperation.]

His heritage gave Colonel Vindman, who is fluent in both Ukrainian and Russian, unique insight into Mr. Trump’s pressure campaign; on numerous occasions, Ukrainian officials sought him out for advice about how to deal with Mr. Giuliani.

[OCS: I find it deeply troubling that a military member tasked to the National Security Counsel would give advice to a foreign government regarding a political matter. Perhaps this is a matter that must be investigated further, along with Colonel Vindman’s connections to individuals connected with the Democrats or Obama Administration.]

Colonel Vindman’s testimony was sprinkled with references to duty, honor and patriotism — but also his life as an immigrant and a refugee.

“I sit here, as a lieutenant colonel in the United States Army, an immigrant,” he said, adding, “I have a deep appreciation for American values and ideals and the power of freedom. I am a patriot, and it is my sacred duty and honor to advance and defend our country, irrespective of party or politics.”

[OCS: I cannot help but recall the famous words of Samuel Johnson who noted, “Patriotism is the first refuge of a scoundrel.” The fact that he is a military member with a Purple Heart means nothing to me, especially considering what the Democrats did to General Michael Flynn.]

The damning story the Democrats are trying to suppress…

Ukrainian efforts to sabotage Trump backfire

Kiev officials are scrambling to make amends with the president-elect after quietly working to boost Clinton.

Ukrainian government officials tried to help Hillary Clinton and undermine Trump by publicly questioning his fitness for office. They also disseminated documents implicating a top Trump aide in corruption and suggested they were investigating the matter, only to back away after the election. And they helped Clinton’s allies research damaging information on Trump and his advisers, a Politico investigation found.

A Ukrainian-American operative who was consulting for the Democratic National Committee met with top officials in the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington in an effort to expose ties between Trump, top campaign aide Paul Manafort and Russia, according to people with direct knowledge of the situation.

The Ukrainian efforts had an impact in the race, helping to force Manafort’s resignation and advancing the narrative that Trump’s campaign was deeply connected to Ukraine’s foe to the east, Russia. <Source>

So where is Adam Schiff and the Committee Democrats when it comes to real interference in a presidential campaign?

Bottom line…

Personally, I do not believe the House inquisition over Ukraine is about the so-called transcript – which has about as much probative value as the Steele Dossier. Rather, I think it is about stonewalling the investigation into the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton’s involvement in soliciting assistance from Ukraine to defeat candidate Donald Trump. And that effort lead to the prosecution of Paul Manafort and others associated with Donald Trump. If they can dirty up Trump in the process as a prelude to the 2020 election, so much the better. All roads lead back to the Obama Administration and high-ranking officials.

It does not appear that Vindman has added anything new to the discussion over a perfectly valid phone call between world leaders.

We are so screwed.

NANCY PELOSI'S HOUSE IMPEACHMENT ROPE-A-DOPE

It appears that Speaker of the House, Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is trying to fool the American people again …

Once again, Speaker Pelosi is attempting to confuse and conflate a vote on the “procedures” of an impeachment inquiry – knowing that they are likely to have bi-partisan support – for an actual vote of the full House of Representatives authorizing the investigation of President Donald Trump. Truth-be-told, instead of having developed necessary and sufficient “Articles of Impeachment” listing cognizable high crimes and misdemeanors, Pelosi wants to carry on the investigation until the House Democrats find something they can use to impeach President Trump.

As for the attempt to portray the process as open and transparent, this is a demonstrable lie given the activities of Adam Schiff (D-CA), Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, who has been holding secret star chamber-like hearings in the basement of the building – with little or no regard for the participation of the Committee Republicans nor the rights of the Office of the Presidency.

A constitutional end run…

Dear Colleague on Next Steps in House's Ongoing Impeachment Inquiry
October 28, 2019
Press Release

H. Res. ___Directing certain committees to continue their ongoing investigations as part of the existing House of Representatives inquiry into whether sufficient grounds exist for the House of Representatives to exercise its Constitutional power to impeach Donald John Trump, President of the United States of America, and for other purposes.

[OCS: Why wouldn't they release the text of the bill contemporaneously with Pelosi's press release? It appears, from all of the statements that have been made by Adam Schiff and other prominent Democrats that such sufficient grounds exist, but they are unable to articulate them or point to the high crimes and misdemeanors that are involved.]

***

Dear Democratic Colleague,

For weeks, the President, his Counsel in the White House, and his allies in Congress have made the baseless claim that the House of Representatives’ impeachment inquiry “lacks the necessary authorization for a valid impeachment proceeding.”  They argue that, because the House has not taken a vote, they may simply pretend the impeachment inquiry does not exist.

[OCS: The claims are not baseless as Pelosi, Schiff and their ilk refuse to abide by the procedural rules that were established for the modern-day impeachments of Presidents Nixon and Clinton. There was no full vote of the House authorizing the impeachment inquiry, only the unprecedented unilateral declaration of the Speaker of the House. Minority members were not allowed to fully participate in the hearings by issuing subpoenas, calling witnesses, or rebutting one-way testimony. The President was denied his due process rights under the Constitution. And Adam Schiff has a massive conflict of interest as he is a participant and fact witness in the investigation he chairs.]

Of course, this argument has no merit.  The Constitution provides that the House of Representatives “shall have the sole Power of Impeachment.”  Multiple past impeachments have gone forward without any authorizing resolutions.

[OCS: The Constitution conveys the impeachment power to the House of Representatives as a committee of the whole, and it does not convey the impeachment power to a partisan Speaker of the House.]

Just last week, a federal court confirmed that the House is not required to hold a vote and that imposing such a requirement would be “an impermissible intrusion on the House’s constitutional authority.”

[OCS: Hand-picked lower-court judges are not the arbiters of the law. The case needs to be examined at the appellate level and then by the Supreme Court of the United States, the only court mentioned in the Constitution. One might even consider that the lower-courts judiciary has a conflict of interest as they are creations of the Congress not the Constitution.]

More than 300 legal scholars have also refuted this argument, concluding that “the Constitution does not mandate the process for impeachment and there is no constitutional requirement that the House of Representatives authorize an impeachment inquiry before one begins.”

[OCS: Like global warming, having a number of partisans put forth a consensus opinion does not make it right. What passes for legal scholars today, especially in the media, is laughable. Most have no clue to what they are talking about.

I also find it curious that America's media refuses to express outrage over the House's secret star chamber proceedings or the fact that six committees have been tasked with digging up opposition research dirt on President Trump in preparation for the 2020 presidential cycle.]

The Trump Administration has made up this argument – apparently out of whole cloth – in order to justify its unprecedented cover-up, withhold key documents from multiple federal agencies, prevent critical witnesses from cooperating, and defy duly authorized subpoenas.

[OCS: Cover-up? You mean like the massive cover-up and stonewalling, including perjury, destruction of documents, and other criminal activities, associated with the Obama Administration?

The fact is that the Congress does not have the ability to breach the Separation of Powers nor diminish the plenary powers, perks, and privileges of the Executive Branch.]

This week, we will bring a resolution to the Floor that affirms the ongoing, existing investigation that is currently being conducted by our committees as part of this impeachment inquiry, including all requests for documents, subpoenas for records and testimony, and any other investigative steps previously taken or to be taken as part of this investigation.

[OCS: Are the House Democrats admitting that the proceedings were not an impeachment inquiry and that further affirmation in the form of a full House of Representatives vote is necessary to proceed? But, of course, they would never say this out loud.]

This resolution establishes the procedure for hearings that are open to the American people, authorizes the disclosure of deposition transcripts, outlines procedures to transfer evidence to the Judiciary Committee as it considers potential articles of impeachment, and sets forth due process rights for the President and his Counsel.

[OCS: Amazing. This is how the inquiry should have started. And, now the Speaker of the House is trying to legitimatize their corrupt and abusive activities after the fact.

But the reality remains, all of the previous testimony taken without the Republicans' or the President's ability to bring rebuttal witnesses to present conflicting information or release documents to counter a Schiff-leaked narrative already denied due process to the Republicans and the President and cannot be remedied after the fact.]

We are taking this step to eliminate any doubt as to whether the Trump Administration may withhold documents, prevent witness testimony, disregard duly authorized subpoenas, or continue obstructing the House of Representatives

[OCS: Failure to produce documents covered under “Executive Privilege” or other procedural safeguards is not obstruction – especially if this is the basis for impeachment.]

Nobody is above the law.

[How does she explain former President Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and other high-ranking officials in the Obama Administration?]

best regards,

Bottom line…

The House Democrats have done great harm to our republic and apparently are looking to do more as they bring forth their lawlessness, socialism, and lack of commonsense.

We are so screwed.

Horrors: Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff not briefed on top secret al-Baghdadi raid

It appears that both House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff (D-CA) are upset that President Trump notified Russia, Iraq, and Turkey to de-conflict the overflight of areas that they control, but not the senior members of Congress. Of course, Trump allegedly did not tell them the purpose of the mission, only that we would be over-flying the area. To be noted, it appears that there might have been massive air assets at altitude should any foreign power attempt to interfere with the mission.

In a formal statement issued by Speaker Pelosi following the news of the raid…

PELOSI: “The House must be briefed on this raid, which the Russians but not top congressional leadership were notified of in advance, and on the administration’s overall strategy in the region. Our military and allies deserve strong, smart and strategic leadership from Washington.” <Source>

In a press conference, President Trump was asked whether he had informed Pelosi …

TRUMP: “No, I didn’t. I didn’t do that. I wanted to make sure this kept secret. I don’t want to have men lost, and women. I don’t want to have people lost.”

President Trump knows full well that the House Democrats will do anything to bring down the Trump presidency and they cannot be trusted with classified information. Just ask Adam Schiff, Hillary Clinton, James Comey, John Brennan, and James Clapper. Could that be because House Democrats leak like sieves – and it is possible that they would run to the New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, or MSNBC in attempt to foil the mission just to embarrass the President?

Original-1942-The-Enemy-Is-Listening-Keep-It

Bottom line…

Not in my wildest dreams would I have believed that the Administration of the United States government would weaponize the nation’s intelligence, law enforcement, and diplomatic agencies against a presidential candidate, and after the election, continue that resistance to de-legitimize his presidency. Just as I could not conceive of a corporatized-media would abandon their journalistic ethics to speak truth to power and assist in the cover-up of a political scandal historic proportions. And, certainly, I could not imagine Members of Congress (Diane Feinstein and Debbie Wasserman Schultz) employing and/or defending spies or foreign nationals on their staff.

We appear to be in a period of unconstitutional and lawless activity in the House of Representatives as they try to protect the Democrat Party and the Obama Administration for serious crimes which have been enumerated in the media, but have not been fully investigated or prosecuted.

This is a win for the American people, a win for President Trump, a win for Delta Force and the support personnel.

Now we have to wait for Adam Schiff to manufacture another whistleblower to describe Trump’s talks with foreign leaders prior to the raid – although such de-confliction talks are usually between military liaisons.

We are so screwed when we cannot trust high-ranking Members of Congress to keep their mouths shut to preserve operational secrecy. Sort of makes a mockery of the “secret” impeachment proceedings in the basement secure room.

REALITY 2020

We are screwed…

The high-ranking Democrats in the Obama Administration tried to hijack your government in 2016 because they knew that they could never win an honest election when all they had to offer was bigger government, higher taxes, fewer personal freedoms, and a massively corrupt and unlikeable candidate whose history was filled with corruption, criminality, and foreign policy blunders that got American soldiers killed.

In the light of the day, the naked truth is that the Democrats gave us Iran, an Islamo-fascist nation on the brink of possessing nuclear weapons and a ballistic missile delivery system; North Korea, a nuclear-armed rogue nation with ballistic missile capabilities; an antagonistic China with improved military and commercial technology that was stolen from American source; and a number of lawless and failed nation-states filled with pirates and terrorists.

We have a corporatized media that values clicks and ratings over journalistic integrity, ignoring the criminality of politicians in return for the access and leaks that drive audience numbers, living in a bi-coastal bubble of manufactured realities, and whose ideological bias points to a corrupt Democrat Party.

We have an opposition party, the Republicans, who refuse to engage with the Democrats on an ideological battlefield lest some of their members lose their cushy political positions and access to the public treasury. The party appears to be devoid of effective leadership with members openly feuding with the President of the United States – a strange narcissistic businessman whose core values are more in line with the average American than the elites in his own party. A President who has instinctually managed to do the right thing at the right time for the American people and is therefore considered an enemy of both parties.

We have a populace that is more interested in celebrities, entertainers, and athletes than serious individuals who have sacrificed their lives and careers in the service of America. Where an untalented individual, primarily famous for being recognizable in the social media – with the help of a sex tape and outsized ass – has parlayed her media attention into a billion-dollar commercial enterprise and access to the President of the United States. Where an outstanding athlete ignores massive human rights violations and excoriates those who would interfere with his sport’s billion-dollar market in an enemy camp.

We are indeed screwed and I am fearful as we approach 2020 …

It appears that there is a race between those who do not wish America well, primarily the progressive socialist democrats and those who have committed crimes against America. Individuals who are rushing to impeach a President for little more than gaining political advantage in the 2020 presidential cycle and stonewalling those investigating serious wrongdoing by the Democrats and the Obama Administration -- whose investigations will be buried if the Democrats can gain control of the government.

We have already seen the lengths to which the Democrats in the House of Representatives are willing to corrupt the constitution and the rule of law with their secret “star chambers” and lack of respect for bi-partisan solutions to America’s domestic and foreign problems. And, we have seen only a handful of Republicans willing to risk their positions to speak-up against evil and its representatives in the opposition party.

In what reality do we find corrupt Democrats holding hearings in secret, refusing to provide transcripts of testimony to the opposition party, but leaking favorable tidbits to the media?

In what reality do we find the mainstream media screaming about a reporter temporarily banished from the White House for incivility while staying silent on the lack of transparency in the House’s star chamber proceedings?

In what reality do we find politicians reversing their previous commonsense positions when these good ideas become the positions of the opposition – and even worse, attempting to criminalize long-accepted political behavior and actions when performed by the opposition party?

In what reality do we find the holdover members of the previous administration deeply embedded in the current administration and working actively against the government – even to the point of ignoring criminal behavior by individuals who should be investigated, prosecuted, and imprisoned for actions against the President and Commander-in-Chief?

But worst of all, in what reality do we find individual judges to be more powerful than the President of the United States and Congress when it comes to suspending, delaying, or nullifying government actions which very well may constitutional, lawful, and necessary to protect America from harm?

Consider the latest ruling of a Judge, appointed by the previous administration under investigation, who has unilaterally declared that the Speaker of the House has the power to commence an impeachment proceeding without the vote of the full House of Representatives – thus disenfranchising the votes of half the nation; has determined that the needs of a House Committee trump the needs for the secrecy of one-sided Grand Jury testimony and has demanded that classified materials be turned over to a partisan group with a history of leaking to the media; and that political proceedings in the House are now “judicial-style” affairs and subject to the court’s rulings. In essence, a House Committee is qualified to continue the law enforcement investigatory work of a special counsel.

Bottom line…T1

Younger, better looking, but just as corrupt and communist as Hillary Clinton...

T2We are well and truly screwed.

PROGRESSIVE SOCIALIST DEMOCRAT & RACIST ELIJAH CUMMINGS LIES ONE LAST TIME

I apologize, I just cannot help myself …

Elijah Cummings was a corrupt opportunist, liar, and a racist who saw everything through the prism of self-serving race baiting. The hypocrisy of honoring this man is tantamount, in my mind, to feting the murderous, drunk, sexual predator Teddy Kennedy as the “Lion of the Senate” or celebrating the existence of KKK poster boy Senator Robert Byrd. But, then again, that’s what politicians do at the end of the day.

Cummings Lies in State

Government officials honored former Rep. Elijah Cummings (D, MD-7) yesterday, as Cummings became the first African American lawmaker to lie in state in the US Capitol. The 68-year-old passed away late last week from long-standing health complications that persisted since a 2017 heart valve replacement. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell made remarks at the ceremony (see photos) and the House suspended floor votes for the remainder of the week. Throughout his 13 terms, Cummings became known as a towering civil rights advocate and champion against social issues that plagued his district in inner-city Baltimore. Cummings rose to chair the powerful House Oversight Committee - one of the committees playing a central role in the ongoing impeachment inquiry - at least six Democrats are now jockeying for the seat.

[OCS: 13 terms in government and the inner cities of Baltimore are still plagued by poverty, crime, disease, and illiteracy. Prior to his death, he was more interested in helping to impeach Donald Trump than cleaning up his district.]

And then there is my concept of justice for the corrupt, lying scumbag Adam Schiff…

Hoist on his own petard…

schiff-liberty

The hypocrisy is unbelievable …

Correct me if I am wrong, wasn’t it Obama Administration officials in the White House, intelligence, and law enforcement agencies that concocted an intelligence inquiry into collusion between candidate Trump and the Russians – and then used the Department of Justice to turn that intelligence investigation into a two-plus-year criminal investigation of President Trump? Wasn’t it the Obama Administration, the Democratic National Committee, and the Hillary Clinton campaign who actually colluded with the Russians and other foreign actors on a number of occasions to interfere with the 2016 presidential election and  damage the candidacy – and then the presidency – of Donald Trump?

Now the evil-doers, on the precipice of the disclosure of their nefarious acts are now bemoaning that the Attorney General of the United States would have the temerity to criminally investigate those who actually did perpetrate criminal acts while in office.

nad

Like all Democrats, past and present, the Democrats project their sins and crimes onto the opposition full-well-knowing that the mainstream media, the propaganda arm of the Democrats, would never call them out over obvious misdeeds and criminal acts. And that the media has no problem publishing leaks and lies anonymously.

Note: that Nadler and Schiff are condemning an investigation with ZERO facts and knowledge. They are hitting the panic button now that prosecutors are discovering “facts” that apparently give rise to criminal charges. This is political hyper-oartisan spinmeistering.

Bottom line…

With corrupt progressive socialist democrats like this, we are so screwed.

BARR/DURHAM RUSSIA COLLUSUION PROBE GOES CRIMINAL

In spite of the overwhelming misdirection and distraction of the mainstream media when it comes to protecting the Obama Administration, the Democrat National Committee, and both foreign and domestic evildoers who interfered with the 2016 presidential election, we now find that United States Attorney General William Barr’s investigation into Russian interference with the election HAS NOW TURNED INTO A CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION. What this means is that federal prosecutors investigating this matter now have the right to issue subpoenas and empanel a grand jury to seek indictments against individuals and organizations.

One theory has members of the intelligence community seeking to avoid operating domestically on American soil by using foreign intelligence services to spy on various members of the Trump organization, the Trump campaign committee, Trump’s associates, and possibly Trump himself with spies in the White House.

Another has members of the intelligence and law enforcement communities conspiring to suppress a Trump candidacy and subsequent to the Trump’s inauguration, to impeach and remove President Trump from office. A stated goal from Day 1 of his Presidency.

Considering that the Democrats have a history of projecting their misbehavior onto the opposition, perhaps the chickens are coming home to roost?

Place your bets now…

 RUSSIA-COLLUSION-19

Who will get immunity for rolling over on his colleagues and who will be interviewed and possibly prosecuted?

Will it be the “untouchables” former President Obama or Hillary Clinton?

Will it be the intelligence and law enforcement masterminds: John Brennan, James Clapper, or James Comey?

Will it be the foreigners: Christopher Steele, Joseph Misfud, etc.?

Will it be the second- or third-tier government players?

Will it be the Fusion GPS gang or the Hillary “Associates?”

Or will this end in a bunch of low-level nobodies being officially sanctioned?

Who will pay all the legal fees or will people be bankrupted and made to suffer like General Flynn, Paul Manafort?

Will we ever find out why Debbie Wasserman Schultz protected spies in the DNC or who really downloaded the DNC data?

Or will all of this blow over with the reelection of Donald Trump and a group pardon and hug?

Bottom line…

It’s about time.

We are so screwed.

THEY CALL THE PAPER THE WASHINGTON COMPOST FOR A REASON

This is the type of reporting that pisses me off …

From the Washington Post …

Expecting a 'sea change' on impeachment? Here's one reason it's not likely.

Paul Kane, The Washington Post

Published 5:26 pm EDT, Wednesday, October 23, 2019

WASHINGTON - With every new revelation in the House impeachment inquiry, some Democrats believe Republicans have finally reached a breaking point and will somehow abandon President Donald Trump.

[OCS: With every revelation … a new name for leaks coming out of the one-sided super-secret inquisition being conducted by Adam Schiff behind closed doors and without any semblance of fairness.

What democrats believe is often so divorced from reality as to make one wonder what planet they are from.]

"This is a sea change," Rep. Stephen Lynch, D-Mass., told reporters after Tuesday's explosive deposition of William Taylor Jr., the acting ambassador to Ukraine.

[OCS: Explosive deposition … the mischaracterization of a few items taken out of context and leaked to the media by Schiff himself or his staff. There is no transcript to really determine the context of the items and certainly no information on any cross-examination which may have taken place which would change the context, meaning, and tone of the leaked “revelation.”]

By Wednesday morning, the seas had indeed changed. Rather than abandoning Trump, several dozen House Republicans who are not members of the committees leading the inquiry marched into a secure briefing room and effectively shuttered the investigation for several hours.

Yada, Yada, Yada …

[OCS: Those Republicans that would abandon the President over this one-sided secret star-chamber proceeding are not worthy of being legislators, let alone Republicans.

And as for the media that reports this trumped-up “fake news” which is meaningless only goes to demonstrate how corrupt, incompetent, and ineffective our mainstream media has become.]

Republicans criticize House impeachment process - while fully participating in probe

[OCS: This is an outright lie … the Republicans do not have subpoena power, they cannot call rebuttal witnesses, and they surely do not participate fully in the probe. The person who wrote this line deserves an ass-kicking from so old-time editor who knows when a reporter or writer is besmirching the paper’s reputation – such as it has become.]

Read the rest of this tripe here.

Bottom line…

Proof positive we are being screwed by the Democrats and their propaganda arm in the mainstream media.
