SHOULD WE BE INVESTIGATING THE CRIMES OF DIANNE FEINSTEIN?
There is little or no doubt in my mind that multi-millionaire Senator Dianne Feinstein and her husband have profited mightily from her service as a Senator. In fact, it appears that Feinstein was forced to step down from a committee assignment due to the appearance, if not the actuality, of impropriety.
Violations Force Feinstein Military Committee Resignation
A veteran California senator has resigned as chair of a powerful military construction committee after reports that for years she abused her position to award her husband’s companies billions of dollars in government contracts.
During her six years as chair and ranking member of the Military Construction Appropriations subcommittee, Senator Dianne Feinstein annually supervised the appropriation of billions of dollars for specific military construction projects. The San Francisco lawmaker supervised her own staff of military construction experts and she lobbied Pentagon officials to support her favorite projects.
She wielded quite a bit of power and succeeded in steering hundreds of billions of dollars in military contracts to companies partially owned by her wealthy husband, Richard Blum. One company alone earned $792 million from military construction and environmental cleanup projects approved by Feinstein’s committee and another $759 million.
The blatant ethics violation and obvious conflict of interest was first exposed earlier this year by a weekly Northern California publication. The story details how Feinstein voted over the years for appropriations that enriched her husband’s firms and that her top legal advisor also happens to be one of her husband’s longtime business partners; in other words, a financial beneficiary of the senator’s decisions. <Source>
So why should we trust Diane Feinstein to investigate top-level corruption in the Obama Administration?
According to reports published in the mainstream media, it appears that the FBI investigation into the Trump-Russia collusion matter was initiated on little more than the drunken ramblings of a low-level campaign advisor, George Papadopoulos, who never met Donald Trump and was not even remotely part of the mainstream campaign team, let alone part of Trump's inner circle. On the theory that it takes very little – other than suspicion – to open FBI investigations, one might suppose that one vector of inquiry might be looking into Feinstein’s work as the ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee and the Senate Intelligence Committee.

- It has been reported that the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee hired Fusion GPS through a Perkins Coie attorney Marc Elias which in turn engaged Christopher Steel who allegedly wrote the “Steele Dossier.” So why was Daniel Jones, a former senior intelligence committee staffer for California Senator Dianne Feinstein raise $50 million from unknown sources to hire Fusion GPS to continue a post-election effort to continue the work of Christopher Steele to validate some of Steele’s reported findings and to continue a media blitz pushing the Trump-Russia collusion narrative?
- Why would California Democrat Senator Diane Feinstein, a ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, unilaterally release a "lightly-redacted" transcript of the August 22, 2017 closed-door testimony of Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson without the permission of the Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley?
Can President Trump or the American people get a “fair deal” from members of the Senate Judiciary Committee?
Looking at the composition of the Senate Judiciary Committee, nominally headed by Republicans, it remains a question of how any Republican, let alone President Donald Trump, could get a fair shake from this collection of virulent anti-GOP progressive socialist democrats and their RINO (Republican In Name Only) enablers like Orrin Hatch, Lindsey Graham and Jeff Flake. Senator Chuck Grassley is a superb letter writer, but I see very little follow-up to all of those tough-sounding letters he has written in the past.

Grassley Letter Everyone Is Ignoring Is Way More Important Than the Nunes Memo: It debunks the idea of an anti-Trump FBI conspiracy, while making a stronger argument that the Carter Page wiretap was unwarranted.

There was no explicit explanation that the Steele Dossier was a work product funded by the Hillary Clinton Campaign (notorious for crazy Sidney Blumenthal/Cody Shearer intelligence report inventions) and the DNC; and just footnoting that the report was funded by the opposition is inadequate disclosure.
Considering what has been revealed about former Director of National Intelligence and now CNN contributor James Clapper, former CIA Director and now NBC/MSNBC contributor John Brennan, former FBI Director and now Special Counsel Robert Mueller, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, former FBI Director James Comey, former Deputy Director of the FBI Andrew McCabe, FBI Special Agent Peter Strozk, FBI Attorney Lisa Page, and other prominent Hillary Clinton supporters on the Special Counsel’s team – one suspects that the smoke is hiding an active and growing fire in the top levels of the Obama Administration.
Bottom line …
It is likely that the interwoven moral, ethical, and criminal lapses of the investigators may keep the Obama Administration from ever being held fully accountable for their misdeeds, and it is likely that the dirt will stick to President Trump and his Administration. What is needed is a person or an incontrovertible fact that will provide the first vulnerable thread in unraveling the Gordian knot of corruption in the highest reaches of the government. Since all parties appear to be “running out the clock” on prosecutable violations, time is of the essence.
