Navy to Name Ship After Gay Rights Activist Harvey Milk
The Navy is set to name a ship after the gay rights icon and San Francisco politician Harvey Milk, according to a Congressional notification obtained by USNI News.
The July 14, 2016 notification, signed by Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus, indicated he intended to name a planned Military Sealift Command fleet oiler USNS Harvey Milk (T-AO-206). The ship would be the second of the John Lewis-class oilers being built by General Dynamics NASSCO in San Diego, Calif.
The Secretary of the Navy’s office is deferring releasing additional information until the naming announcement, a Navy official told USNI News on Thursday.
Milk came from a Navy family and commissioned in the service in 1951. He served as a diving officer in San Diego during the Korean War on the submarine rescue ship Kittiwake until 1955. Milk was honorably discharged from the service as a lieutenant junior grade. Following his service, Milk was elected to the San Francisco board of supervisors and was the first openly gay California politician to be elected to office. He was killed in office in 1978. When Milk was shot he was wearing his U.S. Navy diver’s belt buckle. <Source>

Ships should be named after military heroes and presidents, not mealy-mouthed politicians and civil rights leaders. While Harvey Milk appears to have served honorably in the Navy, his undistinguished military record and career does not warrant this type of military honor. There is little doubt in my mind that the Speaker of the House is little more than a sober version of the previous speaker and country-club RINO John Boehner. Knuckling under to President Barack Obama on everything from funding open borders initiatives, the disastrous Obamacare debacle, and big special interest spending in every sector of our economy. All the while portraying himself as a conservative.
After the terrorist attacks in Orlando and San Bernardino, Americans are right to be worried about ISIS plotting more attacks. As your Congressman, I have passed legislation to stop radical Islamic terrorists from entering the U.S. and I’m working with national security experts to change practices so we can prevent future attacks. Just talking about national security is not enough. We need new laws and action by the Administration to protect Americans.

Congress Votes To Fund Nearly 300,000 Visas For Muslim Migrants In One Year
The House passed Paul Ryan’s $1.1 trillion omnibus spending bill, negotiated with Nancy Pelosi. A majority of House Republicans voted for the measure, which fully funds Obama’s refugee resettlement operation, all Mideast immigration programs, Sanctuary Cities, Obama’s continued executive amnesty for DREAMers, and the resettlement of illegal aliens within the U.S. interior.
In passing this legislation, the House has approved funding for the issuance of nearly three hundred thousand visas to migrants from Muslim countries in the next year alone.
Ryan’s bill accomplishes this migrant surge by fully funding every U.S. immigration program currently in existence, as well as funding the President’s expansion of the refugee program through Syrian migrant resettlement.
The most recent available data published by the Department of Homeland Security shows that in 2013, around 118,000 migrants from Muslim-majority countries were permanently resettled within the United States on green cards, as well as approximately 40,000 refugees and asylees from Muslim countries. Additionally, according to data from the State Department, in 2013 the U.S. voluntarily admitted approximately 123,000 temporary migrants from Muslim countries as foreign students and foreign workers.
On top of those autopilot admissions, which will be funded throughout all of 2016, the House is also funding the President’s plan to add another 10,000 refugees from the Muslim country of Syria. As a result, Ryan’s House-passed omnibus will bring in nearly 300,000 Muslim migrants in the next 12 months alone, including roughly 170,000 who will be permanently resettled within the country. In a December 3rd letter to administration officials, Sens. Jeff Sessions and Ted Cruz explained that the permanent resettlement of 170,000 Muslim migrants will be on top of the already huge inflow of temporary Muslim migrants. <Source>
Paul Ryan’s First Major Act as Speaker of the House: Block Any Amendments to Flawed Refugee Resettlement Bill
Despite all of the talk that the process in the House would open up under Ryan in the wake of now former House Speaker John Boehner—who resigned from Congress after being driven out of the Speakership by members of his own party furious with his lack of openness in legislative process—Ryan has, on his first major move as Speaker, shut down the process entirely. It’s unclear if it will ever get better.

The rule waives all points of order against consideration of the bill,” the Rules memo continued. “The rule provides that the bill shall be considered as read. The TEA Party conservatives gave the House a majority and the GOP disrespected the conservatives by immediately selling out to the Bush crony capitalists, the special interests, and worst of all, the progressive socialist democrats. Truth be told, Ryan is a younger, more sober, version of John Boehner, content to assist the progressive socialist democrats in fundamentally transforming America into just another unexceptional member-state of the United Nations.
Let us not forget that Ryan rushed to the cameras to excoriate Donald Trump for saying that he would halt all Muslim immigration until the Administration worked out the details to keep America safe. Proof, that his current campaign message is a major lie that should not be excused by Wisconsin voters or the American public.
How the hell does Ryan claim to uphold American values when these immigrants fail to assimilate and continue to promote their anti-women, anti-gay, anti-Jew, anti-Israel, anti-America viewpoints which, as polls show, having sympathy for Islamic terrorists?
There is no doubt in my mind that Ryan is now the embodiment of the establishment globalist wing on the GOP – indistinguishable from the progressive socialist democrats only by their lack of discipline, willingness to sell out their party, and contentment with a corrupt system.
Tell Paul Ryan to go to hell. If you are in Wisconsin, you may wish to support Ryan’s challenger, Paul Nehlen, as the antidote to giving America to the progressive socialist democrats and importing more terrorism.

Susan Sarandon Blasts ‘Disgusting’ DNC Plot to Undermine Bernie
Hollywood celeb and Bernie Sanders supporter Susan Sarandon is calling out the Democratic National Committee for the “disgusting” behavior revealed in DNC staff emails published by WikiLeaks over the weekend.
“That’s so disgusting,” Sarandon said of revelations that DNC staffers were actively working to undermine Sanders’ insurgent candidacy in the Democratic primary against establishment favorite Hillary Clinton. Some DNC officials even suggested a campaign to raise doubts about Sanders’ Jewish faith.
“I think we have to really ask what’s happened to us in terms of what we’re willing to sacrifice to get our person in,” Sarandon said in an interview with The Young Turks, a progressive online news network.
Sarandon, who has suggested that Donald Trump might be “more dangerous” as president than Hillary Clinton, said voters are flocking to outsider candidates such as Trump and Sanders because they feel “disenfranchised” and are “sick with politics the way it is.”
Sarandon had previously predicted that Bernie Sanders would win the Democratic nomination because an FBI indictment of Hillary Clinton for mishandling classified information over her private email server was “inevitable.” It was not, as it turns out.

Have you noticed that the great majority of refugees are NOT women and children, but young men of Jihadist age? Our Constitution is not a suicide pact, nor do we need to welcome those who are illiterate, are diseased, possess no skills, and would be financial dependent on the system.
Donald Trump had it right: suspend all immigration from terror nations, nations that sponsor terror (especially Iran), and nations that do not cooperate with the United States in combatting terrorism. Start performing VISA checks to locate and return anyone who overstayed their VISA, giving first priority to criminal aliens and aliens from terror countries.

The other day I wrote a post suggesting that Donald J. Trump was a potential “helicopter president,” dropping in to receive the accolades and bask in the glory of his office while he outsourced both domestic and foreign policy to others. In spite of claiming that he has access to the “best” people, might it also be likely that Trump may have already ceded power to men who are not only elite establishment globalists, but may be intimately involved with everything that goes against the grain of constitutional conservatism; including the safety and security of the United States.
Already we can see the cracks developing with Trump’s reliance on the RNC for operational support and fundraising as his “lightweight” operation was inadequate for a national campaign. Trump had little or no choice but to accept the assistance of the elite globalist establishment progressives – even if they actually supported progressives. But, again, that is of little concern to The Donald as he was a progressive a short 24 months or so ago. So who are these heavy hitters and are they likely to consider Trump another useful idiot – in spite of his claimed wealth, business expertise, and overall knowledge of world affairs as seen through the prism of a golf course.

Just weeks after she started preparing opposition research files on Donald Trump’s campaign chairman Paul Manafort last spring, Democratic National Committee consultant Alexandra Chalupa got an alarming message when she logged into her personal Yahoo email account. “Important action required,” read a pop-up box from a Yahoo security team that is informally known as “the Paranoids.” “We strongly suspect that your account has been the target of state-sponsored actors.”
Chalupa — who had been drafting memos and writing emails about Manafort’s connection to pro-Russian political leaders in Ukraine — quickly alerted top DNC officials. “Since I started digging into Manafort, these messages have been a daily occurrence on my Yahoo account despite changing my password often,” she wrote in a May 3 email to Luis Miranda, the DNC’s communications director, which included an attached screengrab of the image of the Yahoo security warning.

I am grateful to Debbie for getting the Democratic Party to this year’s historic convention in Philadelphia, and I know that this week’s events will be a success thanks to her hard work and leadership. There’s simply no one better at taking the fight to the Republicans than Debbie–which is why like Debbie in Congress who are ready on day one to get to work for the American people. I am glad that she has agreed to serve as honorary chair of my campaign’s 50-state program to gain ground and elect Democrats in every part of the country, and will continue to serve as a surrogate for my campaign nationally, in Florida, and in other key states. The Democratic National Committee formally offered "a deep and sincere apology to Senator Sanders, his supporters, and the entire Democratic Party for the inexcusable remarks made over email" and said it would take action to ensure it never happens again.
Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz resigned effective at the end of the convention over the email flap. At a morning gathering of Florida delegates, Sanders supporters jeered Wasserman Schultz, who they accuse of trying to sabotage the campaign of the democratic socialist.
Where is the apology of those who are trying to sabotage our nation and continue the Barack Obama’s fundamental transformation of America into a third-world nation?
