Within ten days after filing a Statement of Candidacy form (FEC2), the campaign committee must file a Statement of Organization (FEC1). At this point in time, the FEC does not appear to have a FEC1 filing for Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.
I would be surprised to see a timely filing of Trump’s personal finance disclosure …
| Federal law requires presidential candidates to file disclosures within 30 days of announcing their candidacy, or on May 15, whichever is later. They can get two extensions of up to 45 days each, and the Federal Election Commission can take up to 30 days to release the filings. |
We are now waiting to see if The Donald will take the next step and file the required financial disclosures, with or without requesting extensions.
