There is little doubt in my mind that progressive socialist democrats are more interested in allowing criminals to walk-free to bring down the minority incarceration numbers rather than explaining why minorities commit a disproportionate number of crimes or are involved in the majority of gun violence.
And that progressive politics, not good policing, is driving our nation to become more accepting of agitators, hooligans, and criminals acting under the guise of “political protest.”
Explain why Police Chief Robert White should not resign or be fired for dereliction of duty when he ordered his police officers not to stop or interfere with protesters defacing a police memorial commemorating those who lost their lives in the battle to protect us all?
The progressive meme of police brutality and the agitation of community activists, many of whom are socialists, communists, and anarchists cannot be allowed to stand. Police who point to the protests and civil disobedience in Ferguson, Missouri or New York City and then exempt themselves from enforcing the law are responding to political pressure that needs to be curtailed. In both cases, Michael Brown and Eric Garner brought about their own deaths by openly challenging and resisting police authority.
Police Upset After Memorial Vandalized
Denver Police Chief Robert White on Sunday defended his policy ordering police not to interfere with protesters, saying he found it "disgusting" that they vandalized a memorial for fallen police officers while officers had to stand by and watch, but he said their restraint was necessary to protect the community.
Denver Director of Public Safety Stephanie O'Malley said the policy of restraint is "a model for other cities as they respond to a growing wave of protests across America."
Denver police issued the policy following widespread protests over several people killed by police, including the police shooting of Michael Brown, an unarmed, black 18-year-old in Ferguson, Missouri, and the police chokehold death of Eric Garner in New York City. Officers involved in both deaths were later cleared of any charges by local grand juries.
Bottom line …
It is time to crack down on the socialist, communist, and anarchist agitators who foment discord and promote riots wherever they travel. Enough with the incendiary rhetoric and false narratives that are carried in the progressive mainstream media without challenge. The falsity of “hands up, don’t shoot” or “I can’t breathe” as legitimate slogans must be challenged. If Michael Brown had not attacked a police officer, he would still be alive. If Eric Garner surrendered to police and fought his battle in court, he would still be alive today.
Enough with giving disruptive hooligans a pass. I say spray looters with dye and then wrap them up at the perimeter and charge them. Since when does civil protest demand looting liquor stores, grocery markets, electronics shops, and beauty supply companies?
And, it’s time that MSNBC pull Al Sharpton off the air for his blatant lies and communities hold him responsible for damage relating to his continual racial agitation.
But, in the meantime, Chief Robert White should be fired for dereliction of duty and failure to uphold his sworn oath of office.
