3 Congressmen Call for Release of Secret 9/11 Documents After Reading Them

All of the Chairs of the 9/11 Commission and the Congressional Investigation Into 9/11 Say It’s “Implausible” that the 9/11 Hijackers Acted Without Government Backing

Congressman Thomas Massie read the 28 classified pages of the Joint Intelligence Committee Inquiry into 9/11 (the joint Senate and House investigation into 9/11) and immediately called for them to be released to the public.

But earlier this year, Reps. Walter B. Jones, R-N.C., and Stephen Lynch, D-Mass., were given access to the 28 redacted pages of the Joint Intelligence Committee Inquiry (JICI) of 9/11 issued in late 2002, which have been thought to hold some answers about the Saudi connection to the attack.

While neither Jones nor Lynch would say just what is in the document, some of the information has leaked out over the years. A multitude of sources tell IBTimes, and numerous press reports over the years in Newsweek, the New York Times, CBS News and other media confirm, that the 28 pages in fact clearly portray that the Saudi government had at the very least an indirect role in supporting the terrorists responsible for the 9/11 attack. In addition, these classified pages clarify somewhat the links between the hijackers and at least one Saudi government worker living in San Diego.  <Source>

Saudi Arabia funding fuels jihadist terror -- Big chunks of the country’s huge oil earnings have been spent on spreading a violent and intolerant variety of Islam

Over more than two decades, Saudi Arabia has lavished around $100 billion or more on the worldwide promotion of the violent, intolerant and crudely puritanical Wahhabist sect of Islam that the ruling royal family espouses.

In 2003, a United States Senate committee on terrorism heard testimony that in the previous 20 years Saudi Arabia had spent $87 billion on promoting Wahhabism worldwide. This included financing 210 Islamic centres, 1,500 mosques, 202 colleges and 2,000 madrassas (religious schools). Various estimates put the amount the Saudi government spends on these missionary institutions as up to $3 billion a year.

The founder of the sect, Muhammad ibn abd al-Wahhab, was an eighteenth century Muslim zealot allied to the Al-Saud clan who promoted an extreme version of Salafism. Salaf is the Arab word meaning pious ancestor and refers to those who attempt to emulate the pure Islamic life of the Prophet Muhammad and his generation of followers.

But Wahhab and his modern disciples take this notion to extremes. The list of people whom Wahhabists should consider their enemies includes not only Christians, Jews, Hindus and atheists, but also Shiite, Sufi and Sunni Muslims.

And yet no western politicians seem prepared to accept the obvious.

The amount the Saudi royal family, both by government donations and the generosity of individual princes, now lavishes on Wahhabist schools, colleges, mosques, Islamic centres and the missionary work of fundamentalist imams around the world is extraordinary. <Source>

New Saudi King Named In 9/11 Suits

President Obama should think before bowing to Saudi Arabia's new king in his Tuesday visit. King Salman has a history of funding al-Qaida, and his son has been accused of knowing in advance about the 9/11 attacks.

When it comes to jihadism, Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud is more of a hardliner than his older brother, King Abdullah, who died last week of a lung infection. As such, any commitment he makes to helping the U.S. destroy al-Qaida and Islamic State terrorists should be viewed with great suspicion.

The 79-year-old Salman once ran a Saudi charity tied to al-Qaida and has been named a defendant in two lawsuits accusing the Saudi royal family of helping the 9/11 terrorists, one of which the U.S. Supreme Court recently let move forward after years of being blocked by the State Department and the well-funded Saudi lobby.

Instead of flying to his palace to hug, kiss and bow to this long-time "individual patron of al-Qaida" posing as a "moderate" reformer, Obama should instead declassify the 28 pages tying Saudi government officials to 9/11 hijackers.

Our government must stop covering up Saudi complicity in terrorism and end this unholy alliance.  <Source>

Many believe, myself included, that the Saudis have struck a Faustian deal with the devil – covertly supporting the terrorists in an effort to keep the terrorists from overthrowing the Saudi Royal Family and The Kingdom.

Martin Dempsey: political ass-kisser and Obama sycophant or following orders?

What would possess the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to honor a man who clearly espoused an extreme form of Islam that is violently opposed to the freedoms and liberties found in Western civilization? And, why would the Pentagon go along with this nonsense that appears to be the epitome of moral equivalence, multi-culturalism, and political correctness? Orders from the Muslim-in-Chief?

The chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff has established a research and essay competition in honor of Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz hosted by the National Defense University.

The king, who died Jan. 23 at age 90, oversaw the modernization of his country’s military during the time he spent as commander of the Saudi Arabian National Guard, a position he held from 1963 until he became king in 2005.

Army Gen. Martin E. Dempsey said the essay competition is a fitting tribute to the life and leadership of the Saudi Arabian monarch.

Lifetime Supporter of U.S.-Saudi Alliance

The king was a lifetime supporter of his country’s alliance with the United States. Abdullah ruled Saudi Arabia from 2005 to his death, and served as regent of the country from 1995. He is succeeded by King Salman Bin Abdul-Aziz.

“This is an important opportunity to honor the memory of the king, while also fostering scholarly research on the Arab-Muslim world, and I can think of no better home for such an initiative than NDU,” Dempsey said in a statement announcing the competition.

The competition will focus on issues related to the Arab-Muslim world and is designed to encourage strategic thinking and meaningful research on a crucial part of the world. The program will be in place at NDU for the next academic year, officials said.

‘A Man of Remarkable Character and Courage’

Dempsey first met Abdullah in 2001, when he was a brigadier general serving as the U.S. advisor to the Saudi Arabian National Guard. “In my job to train and advise his military forces, and in our relationship since, I found the king to be a man of remarkable character and courage,” Dempsey said.

Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Frederick M. Padilla, the president of the National Defense University, welcomed the opportunity to challenge future students while honoring the late king.

“This scholarly research competition presents NDU students with a unique opportunity to focus their research and writing efforts on relevant issues at the intersection of U.S. security interests and the Arab-Muslim world,” he said.

Bottom line …

I have no problem with the establishment of a Saudi studies group at the National Defense University as we should be able to name, label, and know our enemies and the existential threat to America and Americans. And, any religion that cannot accept the precepts of democracy, tolerance, and freedom of religion and expression is our enemy. There is no doubt that Islam has declared war on Western civilizations. How else can you explain the terrorism and insurgencies around the globe that are directly linked to Islam and terrorist activity?

It appears that President Obama is doing everything in his power to curtail energy independence in the United States, from onerous environmental regulations, the refusal to sanction the Keystone Pipeline, the environmental controls on fracking, and putting federal lands off-limits to those who want to extract fossil fuels.

Obama Visits Saudi King After Curbing Oil Expansion

While taking credit for increased oil and gas production on private and state lands, the president moves to put 12 million acres of the oil-rich Arctic National Wildlife Refuge off limits. OPEC and the Saudis are smiling. <Source>

Likewise, he appears to be an apologist for Islam – openly referring to the religion that kidnaps and kills innocent boys and girls as the “religion of peace.” Disadvantaging our great ally in the Middle East, Israel, in favor of empowering nations that do not wish us well – even when they are taking our money and arms. He is the man who cannot even say the word Islamic terrorism – preferring to speak of extremists and workplace violence.

We are in trouble when our leadership openly fetes a nation and a monarch with an abysmal human rights history and one that may have spawned the evilness that attacked us on 9/11.

I can understand General Dempsey’s desire to keep his job, but after Benghazi and now this – one wonders if it is a job worth sacrificing your honor over?
