OBAMA TO MAKE US LESS SAFE WITH RELEASE OF CONGRESSIONAL REPORT ON CIA INTERROGATION

We have all seen how the New York Times reporting on the Abu Ghraib scandal was used as a recruiting tool for Islamic jihadis; and now we are about to see the release of the CIA report on enhanced interrogation methods that gives the jihadis a major propaganda coup as well as putting American lives at risk for reprisals.

And, it appears that President Barack Hussein Obama (aka Barry Soetoro) and his cadre of progressive socialist democrats may be doing this in his continuing program to disparage the United States on the world stage.

US report to detail controversial CIA interrogation methods

Graphic details about sexual threats and other harsh interrogation techniques the CIA meted out to captured militants will be made public on Tuesday in a controversial Senate Intelligence Committee report on the spy agency’s anti-terror tactics.

The report, which the committee’s majority Democrats are expected to release on Tuesday, describes how senior al Qaeda operative Abdel Rahman al Nashiri, suspected mastermind of the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole, was threatened by his interrogators with a buzzing power drill, the sources said. The drill was never actually used on Nashiri. In another instance, the report documents how at least one detainee was sexually threatened with a broomstick, the sources said.

Preparing for a worldwide outcry, and possibly even violence, from the publication of such graphic details, the White House and U.S. intelligence officials said on Monday they had taken steps to shore up security of U.S. facilities worldwide.

“There are some indications that the release of the report could lead to greater risk that is posed to U.S. facilities and individuals all around the world,” White House spokesman Josh Earnest said.

Earnest reiterated that President Barack Obama supports making the document public “so that people around the world and people here at home understand exactly what transpired.”

Meanwhile, U.S. intelligence agencies secretly circulated a bulletin warning of possible violent reactions overseas, a senior intelligence official told Reuters. The Pentagon has also warned field commanders they should take appropriate steps to protect U.S. troops and bases overseas. Intelligence committee Democrats are expected to post the report on the panel’s website on Tuesday, along with lengthy critiques of it by committee Republicans and the CIA.

There is no justification for the Senate Intelligence Committee democrats to release this report and provide a source of lasting propaganda to our enemies. It behooves us to remember that we are talking about “enhanced” interrogation methods that pale when measured against the actual torture methods used by the Islamic Jihadis.

What did Congress know and when did they know it?

Former CIA chief says agency never lied about torture

Former Central Intelligence Agency director Michael Hayden on Sunday rejected suggestions that the CIA lied about its use of enhanced interrogation techniques, as Senate Democrats are said to allege in a report expected for release this week. "To say that we relentlessly, over an expanded period of time, lied to everyone about a program that wasn't doing any good, that beggars the imagination," Hayden said on CBS's "Face the Nation."

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers, R-Mich., said he opposes releasing the Democratic analysis.

"Our foreign partners are telling us this will cause violence and deaths," the lawmaker said. "Our own intelligence community has assessed that this will cause violence and deaths. . . . We have seen what happens when other incidents are used in the propaganda terrorist machine to incite violence."

Hayden said releasing the report would make the CIA workforce "feel as if it has been tried and convicted in absentia, since the Senate Democrats and their staff didn't talk to anyone actively involved in the program."

He also said the conclusions could "be used by our enemies to motivate people to attack Americans and American facilities overseas," in addition to causing political damage for governments that cooperated with the United States in the war on terror. <Source>

Holding Nancy Pelosi  and her cohorts accountable …

“In his new book, ‘Hard Measures,’ Rodriguez reveals that he led a CIA briefing of Pelosi, where the techniques being used in the interrogation of senior al-Qaeda facilitator Abu Zubaida were described in detail. Her claim that she was not told about waterboarding at that briefing, he writes, ‘is untrue.’”  (Marc A. Thiessen, “Ex-CIA Counterterror Chief Says Pelosi ‘Reinventing The Truth’ About Waterboarding,” The Washington Post, 4/30/12)

“‘We explained that as a result of the techniques, Abu Zubaydah was compliant and providing good intelligence. We made crystal clear that authorized techniques, including waterboarding, had by then been used on Zubaydah.’ Rodriguez writes that he told Pelosi everything, adding, ‘We held back nothing.’”  (Marc A. Thiessen, “Ex-CIA Counterterror Chief Says Pelosi ‘Reinventing The Truth’ About Waterboarding,” The Washington Post, 4/30/12)

“How did she respond when presented with this information? Rodriguez writes that neither Pelosi nor anyone else in the briefing objected to the techniques being used.”  (Marc A. Thiessen, “Ex-CIA Counterterror Chief Says Pelosi ‘Reinventing The Truth’ About Waterboarding,” The Washington Post, 4/30/12)

Why isn’t Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid stopping the release of this report?

Bottom line …

Can we trust President Barack Obama and his cadre of progressive socialist democrats on matters of national security? I think not! And, as Obama’s spiritual mentor for 20 years, Jeremiah Wright, indicated, “America’s chickens are coming home to roost.” Perhaps I expected something different, but I did not think President Obama would be shoveling out the birdseed.

There is no need to release this report – unless you are an anti-America, pro-Muslim douchebag who believes America is at fault for the world’s ills – and especially the hundreds of years of Muslim conflicts.

Hey Barack … where is the report on Bowe Bergdahl’s desertion?

And where is the classified 9/11 report section on the foreign sources involved in the 9/11 attack?

You want people to know the truth, no matter how much damage it causes … well here is your opportunity!
