Sometimes the candidate you need to pick is not your best choice – and, in fact, may be just another corrupt politician feathering their own nest. In the Senate Race for Kentucky, the choice is clear – Mitch McConnell must be re-elected to restore our constitutional checks and balances as a check against the unilateral actions of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid who is both corrupt and contemptible. That McConnell does not fully offer his unqualified support the Second Amendment, he is critical to the fight to reverse Barack Obama’s unilateral nullification of Congress and the rule of law – offering aid and comfort to our enemies while continuing to weaken our national defense.

I am not a big McConnell fan by any means, but he is the ONLY acceptable candidate in the face of Allison Lundergan Grimes lies and deceptions. 

Grimes doubles down on refusal to talk about Obama vote

Kentucky Democratic Senate nominee Alison Lundergan Grimes again refused to cede ground on her controversial refusal to reveal whether she voted for President Obama.

The refusal echoed her controversial interview last week with the Louisville Courier Journal where she also dodged three times whether or not she voted for President Obama. She also underscored that she she respects “the sanctity of the ballot box” and called herself a “Clinton Democrat through and through.” <Source>

Imagine that! If Alison Lundergan Grimes was referring to Bill Clinton, she is supporting a sexual predator and alleged rapist, a perjurer, and someone who brought disgrace to the Oval Office. If Alison Lundergan Grimes was referring to Hillary Clinton, obviously she is supporting a thoroughly corrupt, lying, Marxist who will carry on the nefarious work of Barack Obama in weakening America from within and destroying our economy, institutions, and infrastructure. 

Once again Bluegrass Bruce reminds us that there are politicians who will do or say anything to get elected or stay in their cushy offices with all of the profits, perks, and privileges …

Allison Grimes’ Pro-Gun Act Exposed In Campaign Memos Allison Lundergan Grimes has been making a big deal out of her support for guns throughout her Senate campaign, even releasing an ad where she shoots clay pigeons while responding to attacks from Mitch McConnell. But new campaign briefings obtained by the Weekly Standard reveal that Grimes’ support of gun rights is nothing more than scripted political theater. The briefings, which were prepared for Grimes in advance of private meetings with the Courier – Journal and Kentucky Enquirer, begin by instructing her to emphasize her differences with President Obama on gun issues by saying things like: “we shouldn’t be banning guns based on things like their grips as a bill supported by Obama tried to do.” After playing up her phony pro-gun stance, the memos tell her to back down — “ONLY IF PUSHED” — on issues such as “expanding the background check system” and “closing the gun show loophole”.  In other words, Grimes’ staff is telling her to say one thing to the media while telling voters something else entirely. Luckily for Grimes, her opponent is just as big a phony on guns as she is. McConnell, despite flaunting a rifle at the CPAC conference (and having the backing of the Washington insiders in the NRA), has voted for a long list of gun control bills over the years. Bottom line …

There are often bigger issues that inform your choice of candidate, primarily choosing the devil you know over an unknown devil, or considering the big picture. In this case, we need to look at the big picture – the need for the GOP to take over the Senate majority so that constitutional checks and balances can be restored to protect against President Obama’s unconstitutional, illegal, and unilateral actions that have made a mockery out of foreign and domestic policies, ceded great advantages to our enemies while disparaging our friends and allies.

Therefore, the ONLY choice on the ballot is Mitch McConnell – and the hopes that his fellow republicans will not choose him to replace the corrupt, progressive socialist democrat Harry Reid as the Senate Majority Leader.
