THE GRAPHIC THAT EXPLAINS WHY CHILDREN CROSSING THE BORDER ARE A HUGE PROBLEM
The easiest way to explain the danger of allowing unaccompanied minors into the United States is to consider the following graphic …
A relatively small inflow of unaccompanied illegal alien minors overwhelms a bureaucracy that is not designed for handling children and the system is rapidly overwhelmed. As a rational response to this growing problem, the children are consigned to “relatives” who themselves may be illegal and who will be given a pass in return for taking care of these children. Over time, the media playing upon the “broken families” theme, will encourage our legislators to allow the illegal alien parents or relatives into the United States; again, in return for taking care of the children. Then we will be asked to show compassion for aging parents and other relatives … and the locusts will be welcome to plague our land.
It matters little to anyone that this so-called humanitarian crisis was engineered by the Obama Administration and possible authored by Cass Sunstein, the progressive legal scholar who, along with co-author Richard H. Thaler, gave us “Nudge” – a book showing how to use very small efforts to produce very large effects.
Bottom line …
An old Arabian proverb sets the stage … “Once the camel gets his nose in the tent, his body will soon follow.” And, there we are: the camel has his nose in the tent and our progressive socialist democrat politicians are feeding him rather than pushing him out of the tent. Unconstitutional, illegal, and an abuse of power as they disregard the rule of law.
Time to throw the progressive socialist democrats and their damn camel out of the tent – especially the House and the Senate in the upcoming 2014 elections.
