SCARY: White House's Valerie Jarrett dines with publisher Rupert Murdoch ... I wonder what was actually on the table?
Pardon my cynical self, but I can see nothing good coming out of any meeting between publisher Rupert Murdoch (Fox News, Wall Street Journal) and Obama puppet-master Valerie Jarrett …
White House's Valerie Jarrett dines with Rupert Murdoch to plot immigration strategy
The White House's Valerie Jarrett and media mogul Rupert Murdoch were seen dining in Washington D.C.'s Foggy Bottom Tuesday night. On the menu? Immigration reform. “Good policy sometimes...
The two dined at the posh Blue Duck Tavern on Tuesday night in Washington's Foggy Bottom, and Jarrett described the evening as “very enjoyable.”
“Good policy sometimes makes strange bedfellows,” she told reporters at a breakfast hosted by the Christian Science Monitor Friday, adding that she was impressed by Murdoch's passion for passing comprehensive immigration reform.

Here is Valerie Jarrett, a progressive socialist democrat who appears to disrespect both America and entrepreneurial activities meeting with a hard-core entrepreneur and risk taker who just happens to own two of the media outlets that are extremely critical of President Barack Obama and his cadre of incompetent, corrupt, ideologues who are hell-bent on transforming America into a unrecognizable socialist society governed by a ruling elite for the benefit of themselves, their agenda, and the special interests that support this radical regime.
It is no secret that Murdoch has been pushing for immigration reform that would see highly-qualified technologists and subject-matter experts being able to get visas and citizenship. Unfortunately, the Obama Administration wants to import future democrats who are presently impoverished, illiterate, of unknown health and criminal status – that would result in the expansion in the size and scope of the government to manage entitlements for this permanent underclass whose allegiance to America is suspect and who would replicate their version of crapistan on our shores.
There is a legal process in place for immigration that seems to be ignored by the Obama Administration. There is also broken promises of a secure border which has now been proven to be another administration lie.
Perhaps a dinner is just a dinner, but …
It appears that Rupert Murdoch is one of those special interests that has business before Administrative agencies – in the form of broadcast licenses, expansion of current business units, the merger and acquisition of other business units, or possible prosecution by the Department of Justice relating to wiretapping by his people.
Dow Jones-Wall Street Journal Head Drawn Into Murdoch UK Phone Jacking Scandal
Les Hinton is the chief executive of Dow Jones and the publisher of the Wall Street Journal, the most prestigious and valued media holdings of Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation media empire. Hinton is implicated as a key player in at least the cover up of illegal break-ins involving hundreds of voice mail accounts belonging to news worthy British citizens high and low. Hinton was chairman of News International, the parent company of Murdoch's London tabloids and newspapers (including the Times of London), at the time of the illegal activities and police investigations.
Now, Murdoch's highly lucrative deal to take over 61% of broadcasting giant BSkyB is threatened by this scandal. Prime Minister David Cameron's Culture Minister was expected to approve the acquisition. Quickly, that option may become a political impossibility given British public outrage and Cameron's personal involvement with News Corporation executives, in particular, Rebekah Brooks.

Much has happened since this piece was written, but it does illustrate the type of business interests that may require powerful friends in high places, now or in the future.
Bottom line …
The Administration’s comprehensive immigration plan, with unsecured borders, unconstitutional failure to uphold existing laws, and the attraction of thousands of children across the border represent a clear and present danger to the financial, social, and security interests of the United States.
Many have said that Murdoch, an Australian, became a naturalized citizen to satisfy the legal requirement that only US citizens were permitted to own US television stations or he would have retained his Australian citizenship.
I thought that I detected a leftward turn on Fox’s premier cable show, The O’Reilly Factor, and perhaps that is all part of the strategy. Or perhaps I am overly sensitive when I find O’Reilly agreeing with Obama, supporting the Administration’s positions, or simply giving President Obama the benefit of the doubt.
I do not trust President Obama and his cadre of progressive socialist democrats and from recent polls neither do the majority of Americans who believe that his Administration has badly managed both domestic and foreign policies and his detached demeanor is indicative of an uncaring incompetence as he goes about pursuing his transformative socialist agenda. And, while I greatly respect Rupert Murdoch for his accomplishments and entrepreneurial skills, I will be watching his media properties for a pro-Administration tilt. It would be a shame if Fox – “the fair and balanced” cable network trusted by more Americans than its progressive competitors – took a turn towards the dark side.
