NEVADA RANGE WAR: WHERE IS THE INVESTIGATION OF HARRY REID AND HIS FAMILY? SOLAR ENERGY IS TO BE PAID FOR BY LOS ANGELES RESIDENTS!
It appears that the designated area to protect the “desert tortoise” encompasses an area designed for solar energy production. Harry Reid, in this photo, is located about 35 miles away from Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy’s homestead and grazing area that was the subject of a massive armed confrontation between the federal Bureau of Land Management and the rancher who refuses to pay tribute to the federal government and acknowledge its control over ranch lands.
Even worse, it appears that Nevada Senator Harry Reid and his family have profited from their association with the solar project that is being built nearby.
Are you going to believe your lying eyes?

Today, U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) joined representatives from the Moapa Band of Paiutes, executives from First Solar, Inc. and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP), as well as other community, government and energy industry leaders to celebrate the start of construction of the 250 Megawatt Moapa Southern Paiute Solar Project. The project is located on the Moapa River Indian Reservation just north of Las Vegas, and has a Power Purchase Agreement with the LADWP to deliver clean, solar energy for 25 years to the City of Los Angeles.
The project will play a key role in LADWP's efforts to build a clean energy future by expanding renewable energy to 33 percent of its total power supply and eliminating coal power. Solar energy from the Moapa plant will contribute 2.4 percent toward LADWP’s renewable energy portfolio. This transformational goal also includes reducing energy use by at least 10 percent through energy efficiency measures; expanding local solar and other forms of distributed generation; initiating a robust demand-response program; and rebuilding local power plants to better integrate renewable energy and be more flexible to meet peak demand.
Moapa Southern Paiute Solar, LLC (a subsidiary of First Solar Electric, LLC) is the project owner and will construct the project using First Solar’s advanced photovoltaic (PV) thin film solar modules. The project will be built on 2,000 acres of land on the Moapa River Indian Reservation and include an onsite substation and a new 5.5 mile 500 kV transmission line that will connect the project to the existing Crystal Substation, serving energy users in California.
“First Solar is thrilled to celebrate this important milestone with Senator Reid and distinguished guests, and honored to work with the Moapa Band of Paiutes on this landmark project,” said Jim Hughes, CEO of First Solar. “By working together, we will provide jobs and significant economic benefits to the Tribe and Clark County as well as helping LADWP deliver clean, renewable energy to its customers.”
Once the Moapa Southern Paiute Solar facility becomes fully operational, LADWP will be able to repurpose existing transmission systems that now bring high-carbon coal power from Navajo Generating Station. The Moapa plant, along with a second utility-scale solar power plant in that region of Nevada, will enable LADWP to stop receiving coal power from the Navajo plant by the end of 2015, four years before it is required by California state law—reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 8.4 million metric tons between 2014 and 2019 cumulatively. The renewable energy from the two solar power projects in Nevada will contribute over 4 percent to LADWP’s goal of 33 percent renewable energy by 2020.

Senator Harry Reid is not giving up … and probably hopes the mainstream media (he apparently doesn’t give a damn about the public or those who do not contribute to his campaign, or are not constituents) will tire of the story …
Senate majority leader Harry Reid hasn't been very vocal about the cattle battle showdown in recent days, but says "it's not over."
Reid tells News4's Samantha Boatman his take on the so-called cattle battle in southern Las Vegas. "Well, it's not over. We can't have an American people that violate the law and then just walk away from it. So it's not over," Reid said. <Source>
And, this egregious abuse of power cannot be explained away …
Nevada ranch standoff could leave dirt on Harry Reid’s reputation -- Longtime aide of senator is new at helm of Bureau of Land Management
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said little as federal agents seized and then released cattle last week from the Bundy ranch, but there is little doubt that the highly charged episode was threatening to become a political headache for the Nevada Democrat.
The Bureau of Land Management is headed by former longtime Reid aide Neil Kornze, who was confirmed by the Senate as BLM director on Tuesday, just as federal authorities descended on the cattle ranch outside Mesquite, Nev.
Cliven Bundy has argued that his family’s cattle have grazed on the land for more than 100 years, before the BLM was founded and before a federal decision was issued to restrict grazing to protect the desert tortoise. He also has said any fees would be due to local government, not federal agencies.
Gov. Brian Sandoval, a Republican, criticized the BLM’s cordoning of “free-speech areas” near the ranch and warned the agency to “be mindful of its conduct.”
Mr. Kornze, 35, worked as a senior policy adviser on land-use issues in Mr. Reid’s office from 2003 to 2011 before joining the BLM. He was confirmed by the Senate on a 71-28 vote after serving as the agency’s principal deputy director, even though Republicans had qualms about his lack of experience compared with past BLM directors.During the confirmation hearing Dec. 17, Mr. Reid called his former aide “just perfect for the job,” even as Republicans noted that previous BLM directors Bob Abbey and Jim Caswell were career federal land managers each with more than 30 years’ experience. <Source>
Free speech areas? Since when did the government obtain the power to abrogate or ignore the United States Constitution and tell people they are limited to a small area to protest egregious government actions? And to set rules and enforce those rules in the designated area?
How can a poorly qualified candidate for the position of an agency head be ramrodded through the Senate if not for quid pro quo vote manipulation or toadying to the Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid? Something stinks here and it is Harry Reid and his family.
And, has anyone noticed that the energy is to be paid for by Los Angeles residents who deal with a corrupt Department of Water and Power that is run by the progressive socialist democrats and their union puppet-masters? The DWP couldn’t even audit a 40-million dollar DWP-Union Joint slush fund without a court order.
Bottom line …
Corruption, cronyism, and self-dealing among our politicians must cease. The progressive socialist democrats are fast selling out our nation to foreign interests, in this case Chinese solar interests, who then have carte blanch access to classified infrastructure secrets and the ability to use those access points to inject cyberwarfare viruses and Trojans into our critical electrical grid. We must stop the progressive socialist democrats by removing them from the House and the Senate this year. Enough is enough. The progressive socialist democrats have sold out America and the American people.
