OBAMA WEAKNESS: WILL DO ANYTHING TO SECURE FAVORABLE PUBLICITY IN ISRAELI -- PALESTINIAN NEGOTIATIONS

OB-FU2

It is no secret that the corrupt Obama Administration is willing to spend any amount of money on Barack and Michele’s vacations as well as simply purchasing photo ops and favorable proclamations that have little or no substance. A good example being the release of billions in blocked Iranian assets in return for a “preliminary” agreement that did absolutely nothing to disarm the Iranian nuclear program and halt their development of ballistic missiles.

Now we are finding that the Obama Administration may be willing to release an Israeli spy and make other concessions just to have the Israelis and Palestinians sit down at a table where the Palestinians do not even have the power to sign an agreement. That power being withheld by the terrorist group Hamas.

U.S. could free Israeli spy in deal to save peace talks: source close to talks

An Israeli spy serving a life sentence in the United States and groups of Palestinian prisoners could be freed under an emerging deal to salvage Middle East peace talks, sources close to the negotiations said on Monday.

The sources, who spoke as U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry prepared to meet Israeli and Palestinian leaders, said under the proposed arrangement that Jonathan Pollard, a former U.S. Navy analyst caught spying for Israel in the 1980s, could be released by mid-April.  Source; U.S. could free Israeli spy in deal to save peace talks: source close to talks - Yahoo News

What the fool does not realize …

  1. There must be a cessation of continuing terrorist hostilities.
  2. There can be no peace until one party (the Palestinians) recognize the other party (Israel) as a legitimate state with a right to exist.
  3. There can be no peace until one party has the ability to effect a settlement as the current legitimacy of the negotiating party is trumped by Hamas.
  4. There can be no Palestinian right of return as that would amount to the devastating demographic bombing of Israel and dilution of Jewish political power.
  5. Jerusalem must remain undivided and under the control of the Jewish state.
  6. There must be a legitimate expansion plan to accommodate Jewish settlers.
  7. There can be no division or give-up of property that would damage the defense of Israel.
  8. There can be no peace as long as one party (the Palestinians) continue to preach hatred in their schools and mosques.

And the three most important considerations …

  1. Recognition of the words of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “If the Arabs lay down their arms, there will be peace. If Israel lays down her arms, there will be no Israel.”
  2. The surrounding Arab states could easily enlarge and accommodate a portion of a Palestinian state within their borders if they were do inclined.
  3. Even when Israel is removed from the equation, the Sunni Muslims and Shia Muslims fight each other to control the legitimacy of the religion.

Bottom line …

Peace in our time is unlikely until we see a reform of Islam and the tolerance for other religions and practices without prejudice. Otherwise, it is all a grand game of preserving dictatorships and access to oil.
