GUN CONTROL ACTIVIST CALIFORNIA STATE SENATOR LELAND YEE ARRESTED FOR CONSPIRACY TO TRAFFIC IN ILLEGAL FIREARMS & PUBLIC CORRUPTION BY FBI
Yee Haw! Another gun control activist goes down for alleged public corruption!
Karma appears to have worked its magic. One of the loudest and most aggressive voices for strict gun control in California, State Senator Leland Yee, has been arrested by the FBI on charges of public corruption. Yee, who was running for the position of California Secretary of State, the public official who controls the voting process and the naming of propositions, was led away in handcuffs from his residence in San Francisco.
Yee is charged with conspiracy to traffic in firearms without a license and to illegally import firearms, as well as six counts of scheming to defraud citizens of honest services. Each of the listed corruption count is punishable by up to 20 years in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000, while the gun-trafficking count is punishable by up to five years and $250,000.
State Senator Leland Yee, a radical progressive socialist democrat with little or no regard for the Constitution’s Second Amendment was arrested on charges of public corruption by the FBI …
Leland Yin YEE, a/k/a California State Senator Leland Yee, a/k/a Uncle Leland (hereinafter SENATOR YEE) is a 65 year-old U.S. citizen believed to reside in San Francisco, California. SENATOR YEE currently represents California legislative District 8, which encompasses San Mateo County and part of San Francisco County.
Senator YEE's term will end on December 16,2014. SENATOR YEE unsuccessfully ran for Mayor of San Francisco in the election held on November 8, 17 2011, and is currently running for California Secretary of State in an election to be held in November 18 2014.
As further detailed below, SENATOR YEE and KEITH JACKSON were involved in a scheme to defraud the citizens of California of their rights to honest services, and SENATOR YEE, LIM and KEITH JACKSON were involved in a conspiracy to traffic firearms.
I believe that the facts detailed below are sufficient to demonstrate probable cause to believe that SENATOR YEE has violated the following criminal statutes: Title 18, United States Code, Section 1343 and 1346 (Wire Fraud of Honest Services); Title 18, United States Code, Sections 371, 922(a)(l) and 922(1) (Conspiracy to Deal Firearms Without a License and to Illegally Import Firearms). <Source: Criminal Complaint – USDOJ – AFFIDAVIT-OF SPECIAL AGENT EMMANUEL V. Ironic … only six days ago State Senator Leland Yee received an award for openness and transparency in government …

Double irony … Yee was mindful of another corrupt politician …
When SENATOR YEE arrived to the restaurant, UCE 4599 [Under Cover Employee] asked SENATOR YEE for some clarification on how to progress with matters related to the arms dealer. SENATOR YEE advised he needed to be careful because of the recent indictment and conviction of another California State Senator. SENATOR YEE was referring to the arrest and indictment of a California State Senator who allegedly was involved in public corruption. SENATOR YEE believed the other State Senator was wearing a "wire" for the FBI. SENATOR YEE thought the other State Senator was a classic example of involving too many people in illegal activities. SENATOR YEE believed his arms dealer connection could in fact provide weapons to UCE 4599.

Bottom line …
While Senator Yee should be regarded as innocent until proven guilty, it should be remembered that politics is a dirty business and is made even dirtier by those who pursue an ideology that is fundamentally un-America. Best practices, especially here in California, would be to remove all of the progressive socialist democrats from government and start restoring our formerly Golden State to its rightful place as the leading state in the nation.
Instead of pursuing the socialist agenda by implementing massively harmful rules and regulations based on faux global warming, we need to repair or replace our crumbling infrastructure. Instead of allowing the corrupt socialist public employee unions to control politicians for their own-self serving interests and nearly bankrupting cities, counties, and our state, we should outlaw or limit the influence of public employee unions. And, instead of issuing stricter gun control legislation that turns citizens into an even larger pool of victims, we should be treating gangs as domestic terrorists and removing their harmful interference from our communities.
It is about time that someone took a stand against political corruption and started investigating and prosecuting public corruption. Considering this prosecution will involve Attorney General Holder, one wonders if justice will actually be served. It is one thing to arrest and charge a democrat in the United States, it is quite another to secure a conviction and impose any meaningful penalty.
