Alec Baldwin Producing Documentary on Barney Frank, 'a Personal Hero of Mine'

Little more than a month after Alec Baldwin declared “goodbye to public life,” the liberal actor is back in the news after signing on as an executive producer of a documentary entitled Compared to What: The Improbable Journey of Barney Frank, which will debut on April 27 at the Tribeca Film Festival in lower Manhattan.

Barney Frank -- an openly gay, recently retired Congressman from Massachusetts -- “is a personal hero of mine,” Baldwin said in a statement regarding the project. “His legacy in Congress, and his historic importance as the first openly gay and married Congressman, are important for our country.” <Source: NewsBusters | Exposing Liberal Media Bias>

“Executive Producer” in Hollywood speak is someone putting up the money or promoting the project, and given the date of the debut, it appears that this is little more than a temporary stop on Alec Baldwin’s gay apology tour. If this is one of Alec Baldwin’s heroes … oh boy!

1. Representative Barney Frank, along with Senator Christopher “Waitress Sandwich” Dodd was one of the driving forces behind the near collapse of the economy by advocating that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac abandon sound lending practices and become “instruments of public policy?”
2. That Barney Frank resisted all efforts to reform Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in the years prior to their collapse and government takeover?
3. That Barney Frank touted the safety and soundness of Fannie Mae only weeks before the government took over as conservator.
4. That Barney Frank was the epitome of corrupt cronyism.
5. That Barney Frank got his gay lover an executive position with Fannie Mae in an area the involved governmental affairs and housing policy? Can you say conflict of interest? Undue pressure?
6. That Barney Frank offered to fix a bank deal for Maxine Waters to keep her from an ethics charge?
7. That Barney Frank is a sharp-tongued progressive socialist democrat who stands for big government, central planning, and the socialist agenda? 

Who gives a rat’s ass about progressive hothead Alec Baldwin or the corrupt gay ideologue Barney Frank except progressive socialist democrats, hipsters, and celebrity watchers. If Barney Frank was an executive in real life, he would be in jail for his unfounded media manipulation of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac that was little more than false and misleading investor information.
