Another historic moment in the life of Barack Obama ...

President Barack Obama, the nation’s historic and transformative President has another historic accomplishment to sit beside his Nobel Peace Prize which was awarded for no previous accomplishments and little or no association with peace. This is the historic creation of a fiat healthcare system whose value depends entirely upon what the government believes it is worth. Thus, the government is the sole determinant of what appropriate healthcare might be, how much you healthcare you may receive, how much you will pay for this fiat healthcare, and more importantly, what private individuals and corporations, physicians, facilities, and other healthcare providers shall receive as reimbursement for providing healthcare.

In one fell swoop, President Obama and his cade of progressive socialist democrats have nationalized one-sixth of the nation’s economy, created a system to identify and track every citizen in America, and to create a plantation of slaves – the doctors and others – who will take what the government will provide them or be left on their own.

Fiat healthcare (from the Latin meaning of fiat: "let it be done", "it shall be", is healthcare which is not fixed in value,  in any terms of any objective standard, and it is worth only what the government declares it to be worth.

Bottom line …

The true value of any fiat system – like our money backed with the full faith and credit of the United States – lies in public sentiment and how the traders value such sentiments. Unfortunately, faith in the system is lagging and speculators are selling the system short – hence it has little value for the majority of Americans at this time.
