German Court Must Decide if it's a Crime to Kill and Eat Someone: Have people lost their minds when they need to turn to lawyers and courts to define acceptable behavior?
Lawyers are becoming a plague on modern society, inserting themselves into every religious, political, and secular subject …
German Court Must Decide if it’s a Crime to Kill and Eat Someone
Cannibalism is not something people want to think about a few days after Thanksgiving, but it’s in the news again. “A German police officer has been arrested on suspicion of killing and chopping up a man he met on the Internet who had long fantasized about being killed and eaten.” Authorities have not been able to determine if the killer had eaten any of his victim, but the intent was there.
But is it morally wrong to kill and eat someone if the person who wants to be killed and eaten agrees to be killed and eaten? This question was asked before in the famous German cannibal case. Was is it about Germans who want to be killed and eaten? Read more at: German Court Must Decide if it’s a Crime to Kill and Eat Someone
Bottom line …
There comes a point when society can no longer tolerate lawyers who create legislation and laws to govern the most minute interpersonal interactions, thus giving rise to a body of law so massive, dense, incomprehensible, and restrictive, that much of the population is in danger of selective prosecution from laws they did not know about and are unable to read and understand.
What make lawyers do dangerous is that they do not apply common sense nor do they consider morality; they are merely advocates for their client’s positions whether they are right, wrong, or simply inoffensive. In the case of lawyers in politics, they are advocates for the government, fighting to enlarge the size, scope and funding of government operations. They are NOT advocates for the people! We are not speaking of lawyers defending criminal cases, but lawyers practicing administrative law on behalf of their clients.
Even worse than economists with their “one one hand … and on the other hand …” nonsense, lawyers and politicians are screwing up the legal system with overlapping and nonsensical laws – all for the purpose of enriching their profession and locking individuals out of the legal system without employing an advocate.
In the present instance, consider what would have happened if the first party contracted with a second party to kill and eat the first party. Then what? A null and void contract because of an existing law that criminalizes cannibalism? What about arguing that it was the parties religious practice and that they have a right to practice their religion? In any event, lawyers for the prosecution and the defense – as well as the judge – are well paid to dispose of this troubling matter.
Whatever happened to the Ten Commandments and Thou shalt not kill? Whoops, forgot – the atheists will sue me because I mentioned law, government, and religion in the same blog post. Some things are beyond the pale.
