POST MARTIN LUTHER KING: "I HAVE A DEMAND"
I am sickened by the speeches by high-ranking government officials and so-called civil rights leaders as they put forth their new vision, a progressive socialist democrat version, based not on individualism and the equality of opportunity, but the communist version of “from each according to his ability, to each according to his need.” All enforced at the point of a gun by representatives of an ever expanding government. A government that wants to interfere, and regulate every facet of your life for their self-interests and those of their special interest friends.
I do not have a dream, I have a demand …
Whereas Martin Luther King, Jr. had a dream that envisioned racial equality where a person was judged not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character, today’s race-hustlers – including members of King’s family – continue towards progressive socialist democrat politics. It’s no longer “I Have a Dream,” but “I Have a Demand.”
A demand for unequal treatment that provides affirmative action – unconstitutional preferential treatment based on one’s race or gender.
A demand for unequal action that provides reparations as redress for historical wrongs – overlooking the billions of dollars that have poured into disadvantaged areas with little or no effect on the culture of entitlement or the living conditions found in the community.
A demand for wealth redistributions, from the “have’s” to the “have not’s” – not on a basis of individual work, but on the basis of socialistic need.
A demand for free healthcare, providing that some medical facilities, physicians, nurses, and others reduce their compensation for their hard work in order to provide for others who refuse to work.
And, worst of all, a demand that society accept criminal activity, the destruction of the nuclear family, and an entitlement culture as being the reward for some historical disadvantage long past.
Who are these people on the platform with their mouths open, spouting racism and hatred, with their palms up to receive the donations of others? Who are these people who speak of a bright future, when their people refuse to assimilate into society – with strange names, strange dress, strange language, and strange cultural practices that have little or nothing to do with the culture of their forebears?
It is had to believe that some of these hard-working, church-going people listening to the drivel of corrupt politicians and community leaders who serve as Judas Goats, embrace the criminality, bitches and ho’s of the gansta’ rap culture and cannot see why they are disadvantaged. Looking at decades of functional illiterates and poor education and listen to their community leaders rail against vouchers because it would disadvantage the unions. It’s not about the children – it’s about adults, political power, and big money.
It does not take a genius to know that single parents with multiple children from multiple irresponsible men ensures poverty, decay, and crime. But, they sit at the foot of these false leaders and applaud wildly as if they were mesmerized by the stunning brilliance of those leading them down the path to ruin.
What the hell happened to those who believed that Martin Luther King had a righteous vision … and then see race-baiters like Obama, Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson sell them out as so many votes delivered to the progressive socialist democrats?
How can they sit idly by and watch their children who outperform their grade, openly derided as uppity Uncle Toms and Aunt Jemimas that make the lower-achieving people look bad?
Bottom line …
If they are not blind to the political corruption that is keeping them as a permanent underclass in America – surpassed by ethic African and other recent immigrants – they must be willfully stupid. There is no third option other than apathy – the acceptance of the entitlement culture and the hopes that scraps will fall off the table as their leadership feasts above.
If Martin Luther had a dream and was alive today, do you think he would be claiming gay rights to be equal to civil rights, or would he turn to the words of Booker T. Washington and tell you to get off your asses and plow those 40 acres of opportunity.
"There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs. There is a certain class of race-problem solvers who don't want the patient to get well." ~ Booker T. Washington
