John McCain, the man with no credibility, charges U.S. lost 'credibility' on Egypt
What can you say about a man who collaborated with the enemy a long time ago and yet is feted as a “war hero” because he was gravely injured in a prisoner of war camp? Can you overlook his service to his country in a time of war to observe that McCain has sold out his party and his nation, once again, by attempting to side with militant terrorists in Egypt? For some reason, John McCain is more a progressive socialist democrat than he is the conservative republican he plays in the media. How can you explain the jumping of the Senate aisle to embrace the progressive socialist democrats on campaign finance (McCain-Feingold), immigration reform (McCain-Kennedy), and global warming (McCain-Lieberman) – and then embracing the militant jihadists known as the Muslim Brotherhood. Those jihadists who demand the Egypt become a theocratic state governed by Sharia law.
McCain charges U.S. lost 'credibility' on Egypt
The United States has “no credibility” in the Middle East due to the Obama administration's inaction in Egypt, Sen. John McCain said Sunday.
The administration previously threatened to cut off aid if there was a coup in Egypt, the Arizona Republican said, but has refused to honor that promise. “We could be cutting off the aid,” as well as cutting off economic assistance, tourism and exports, he said, but the administration is “not sticking to our values.”.
McCain has just visited Egypt in an effort to broker an agreement between military leaders and supporters of ousted President Mohammed Morsi. While there, he said he wanted to give the military generals an opportunity to get on the “path to democracy."
Democracy? Has McCain abandoned all reason?
- Does this aging progressive socialist democrat know that the Muslim Brotherhood’s Credo is “Allah is our objective; the Quran is our law, the Prophet is our leader; Jihad is our way; and death for the sake of Allah is the highest of our aspirations.”
- Does McCain know that the Muslim Brotherhood was overthrown because they were attempting to destroy the existing Egyptian Constitution and implement a perpetual theocracy? Having won with a slim margin and believing that this granted them the right to perpetual power?
- Does McCain understand that the Muslim Brotherhood is attacking Coptic Christians (approximately 10% of the population) as infidels?
- And, worst of all, not realizing that there is nothing in the Quran that explains how to run an economy for the benefit of the nation?
But after last week's violence, he said, "for us to sit by and watch this happen is a violation of everything we stood for.” And he accused the interim regime of preaching “anti-Americanism.”
“We are much more hated and much less respected than we were in 2009,” in the Middle East region, McCain said. Source: McCain charges U.S. lost 'credibility' on Egypt - POLITICO.com
Bottom line …
McCain would rather follow Barack Obama down the rat hole of Jihadist Muslim politics than stand up for real democracy. To ignore that the people of Egypt do not want a strict Sharia government and do not want to be controlled by a law that metes out death and torture for the slightest deviation from some politician’s instant interpretation of the Quran.
John McCain may be a United States Senator, but he is still a quisling and a Judas Goat, leading all that believe him to a hell of their own making.
