IS RAND PAUL EVERY BIT AS DANGEROUS AS BARACK OBAMA?
I was thoroughly convinced that Ron Paul was a small-time political grifter whose sole talent was that he could “talk conservative.” He had no record of legislative leadership or achievement. And, most of his political theories came from books, not pragmatic practice. Through a fault in our deeply divided nation, Ron Paul managed to find himself on center stage with other Republican candidates who could best be described as non-conservative and flawed.
I believe it is the same way with his son. Repeating much of the behavior of his father, but with the foresight of his father’s failures. And, compared to the current slate of so-called Republican presidential candidates, much in the same spot his father was in when facing someone like Mitt Romney. No substance and a very dodgy habit of accepting money from odious groups with white supremacist behaviors.
Now we find Sarah Palin’s implicit endorsement …
Sarah Palin Slams Chris Christie: "I’m On Team Rand" -- “Chris Christie’s for more government and his record proves that, whereas Rand Paul with that healthy libertarian streak that we need more of, in our politicians, team Rand Paul.” posted on August 10, 2013 at 5:40pm EDT
Former vice presidential candidate and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin said Saturday she sided with Rand Paul in the on-going feud between the Kentucky Senator and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. Palin was appearing on Fox New’s Cashin’ In.
“I’m on team Rand. Rand Paul understands. He gets the whole notion of don’t tread on me government. Whereas Chris Christie is for big government and trying to go-along-to-get along in so many respects,” Palin said.

I like Sarah Palin, for her pragmatism and proven ability to get things done. However, she was so demonized in the best manner of Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals by the progressive socialist democrats that she is no longer a viable candidate – but sort of a “kingmaker.” To see her denounce Chris Christie as a liberal is a welcome breath of fresh air. But, to see any implied endorsement of Rand Paul is deeply disturbing.
Bottom line …
In my opinion, I believe that Rand Paul is almost as dangerous as President Barack Obama. A man committed to an ideology with no real experience and a dodgy background. Other than his ability to talk conservative – but not as well as Representative Tom McClintock – Paul represents the type of threat that was posed by Lyndon LaRouche and his “LaRouchies” – same type of young cult followers who would do almost anything to support the “cause.”
Unless the Republican party deals with the Northeastern liberal elites – including Karl Rove and his boy Jeb Bush – I think our nation is in for another incremental fix of a system so corrupt and broken that it can never be adequately repaired without a civil uprising.
The thought of our beloved nation facing a choice between a proven liar and crook like Hillary Clinton and a small time political grifter like Rand Paul does not paint an encouraging picture. And, for those who might ask who I support – the answer is I do not know. Nobody, at this point in time, has even the remotest chance of being a Ronald Reagan; the touchstone by which I grade political candidates.
