IS OBAMA DRAGGING AMERICA INTO A GENOCIDAL WAR BETWEEN THE SUNNIS AND THE SHIA?
Syria: no compelling American reason for being involved …
I cannot find a single compelling reason for the United States to intervene in what is little more than an Islamic civil war between the Shia and Alawites (Assad) and their ideological enemies, the more populous Sunnis (Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc.)
In fact, if the the Sunnis win the conflict, it is likely that Assad and the Alawites will be exiled to their own portion of Syria … and the genocidal and revenge killing will commence. Including the Christians and other sects that were tolerated by the Assad regime, but are mortal enemies of the Sunnis. We are talking genocide! On Barack Obama’s watch.
No matter what side we support, we will be creating a new generation of suicidal terrorists. Ask yourself, where the hell are those democrats who told us we needed to understand the motives of the Muslims and why they hate America? In this case, why are they not speaking up?

What the hell are Obama and his fellow travelers thinking?
Could it be that Barack Obama, a man originally trained as a Sunni Muslim, might be feathering his future nest at the expense of the United States? Could this be a justification for an American strike against Iran? Or could it be that the empty suit ceded functional control of the presidency to his advisors like National Security Advisor Susan Rice, United Nations’ Ambassador Samantha Powers, and CIA Director John Brennan, formerly the Deputy National Security Advisor for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism?
What could justify placing arms in the hands of a violent jihadist group of Muslims who have proven in the past to be associated with international terrorism and jihad? Could this be a continuation of the cover-up of Benghazi? A post facto erasing of the evidence that the Obama Administration and the Clinton State Department was caught supplying arms to these very same terrorist groups through a Libyan conduit that stretched between Libya and Syria and Egypt through Turkey? An illegal operation conducted without Congressional approval or oversight?
And, where is the Congressional approval of an act that could lead us into a prolonged war with Islamic jihadists on both sides?
Bottom line …
President Barack Obama appears to have a pattern and practice of violating the Constitution and usurping the power of Congress. If President Obama manages to embroil America into another Middle East conflict – especially one that is instigated by Saudi Arabia and one without an compelling American interest, there is but one course of action. Impeachment, trial, and conviction of high crimes and misdemeanors.
This is one affair where President Obama cannot claim ignorance. Standing at the podium and loudly proclaiming that “mistakes were made” and that “we need to know what happened,” followed by a pledge to take the appropriate action, including prosecution if any crimes were discovered. And, then checking out while Attorney General Eric Holder conducts a never-ending investigation that would see both of them safely out of office and beyond prosecution. All the while Americans may be dying for a self-serving political ploy that nobody but Obama and his puppet-masters understand.
We the people need to mount a show of force in the upcoming 2014 congressional elections. Tossing the democrats who enabled Barack Obama to sign legislation that the majority of Americans did not want or need. Democrats who failed to exercise oversight over the Executive Branch agencies now embroiled in scandal. The sewer needs cleaning.
