THE FIRST IMMIGRATION HEARING HAS BEEN INFORMALLY HELD AMONG THE AMERICAN PUBLIC AS THE BOSTON MARATHON BOMBING AND MANHUNT CONTINUED …
It appears that one of the terrorists was a legal foreign resident and his younger terrorist brother is an American citizen, ironically granted citizenship on September 11, 2012, the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attack on America. It also appears that the older terrorist brother could have been legally deported for domestic violence, but remained in the country.
The first public immigration has been informally among citizens -- held with a large portion of Americans participating in the discussion as the Boston Marathon bombing and manhunt continued.
Before opening our borders to a relatively large number of persons whose criminal histories and records are held by governments with less than stellar recordkeeping and cooperation with our government, we may need to rethink who we are admitting to our country.
In addition, the fact that our immigration systems, for many years, only tracked incoming people and refused to track outgoing people in order to determine who had overstayed their visas.
There is NO DOUBT that we need to secure our border, tighten-up our immigration systems, deport those who deserve deporting – and, most of all, reserve citizenship for those who have given up their allegiance to foreign sovereign nations.
Bottom line …
Immigration transcends the politics of both political policies who appear to be pandering to illegal aliens to secure a political advantage and perpetuate their power. It is time for the American people to tell corrupt politicians that the sovereignty, safety and security of the United States are more important than any politician or political power.
