DOUCHEBAGGERY: "Let's hope the Boston Marathon bomber is a white American" -- David Sirota writing for salon.com

People are dead and some terrifically maimed with life-changing wounds and this left-wing douchebag, David Sirota, is hoping that the miscreant terrorist that bombed the Boston Marathon is a white man? I don’t care who the individual or group is – they deserve to be executed in prime time in the most horrible way imaginable.

Dynamics of privilege?

Let’s hope the Boston Marathon bomber is a white American -- There is a double standard: White terrorists are dealt with as lone wolves, Islamists are existential threats -- By David Sirota

As we now move into the official Political Aftermath period of the Boston bombing — the period that will determine the long-term legislative fallout of the atrocity — the dynamics of privilege will undoubtedly influence the nation’s collective reaction to the attacks. That’s because privilege tends to determine: 1) which groups are — and are not — collectively denigrated or targeted for the unlawful actions of individuals; and 2) how big and politically game-changing the overall reaction ends up being.

This has been most obvious in the context of recent mass shootings. In those awful episodes, a religious or ethnic minority group lacking such privilege would likely be collectively slandered and/or targeted with surveillance or profiling (or worse) if some of its individuals comprised most of the mass shooters. However, white male privilege means white men are not collectively denigrated/targeted for those shootings — even though most come at the hands of white dudes.

Is this piece of excrement, David Sirota, insane? I do not care who perpetrated a heinous attack on innocent people, they must be brought to justice without any regard for their philosophy or reason.

Likewise, in the context of terrorist attacks, such privilege means white non-Islamic terrorists are typically portrayed not as representative of whole groups or ideologies, but as “lone wolf” threats to be dealt with as isolated law enforcement matters. Meanwhile, non-white or developing-world terrorism suspects are often reflexively portrayed as representative of larger conspiracies, ideologies and religions that must be dealt with as systemic threats — the kind potentially requiring everything from law enforcement action to military operations to civil liberties legislation to foreign policy shifts.

What is this useful idiot saying? That we should not view militant Islamists/Jihadists as an existential threat because they are just kidding about killing infidels and wiping countries off the map? That we should somehow see the public beheading of Daniel Pearl as just some lone wolf act and not representative of a larger class of people who wish us dead or enslaved?

“White privilege is knowing that even if the bomber turns out to be white, no one will call for your group to be profiled as terrorists as a result, subjected to special screening or threatened with deportation,” writes author Tim Wise. “White privilege is knowing that if this bomber turns out to be white, the United States government will not bomb whatever corn field or mountain town or stale suburb from which said bomber came, just to ensure that others like him or her don’t get any ideas. And if he turns out to be a member of the Irish Republican Army we won’t bomb Dublin. And if he’s an Italian-American Catholic we won’t bomb the Vatican.”

This is the type of bull-pucky you get from radical leftists who believe the United States is not an exceptional nation and should somehow be punished or disadvantaged for its past history – even though we have given more to individuals, nation-states and mankind than any previous civilization. Intelligence agencies, both civilian and military, profile all radical hate groups – as well they should. If this asswipe is saying that, for example, the perpetrator of these heinous acts turns out to be Swedish, we would not react as if he were a Muslim. Correct, because the Swedes do not have a theocracy that compels the state to act as an agent of their religion. Nor do they have any large group of people swearing to kill every non-believer on the face of the planet. Nor, do the Swedes ignore the human rights of their citizens and have despotic dictators that believe in death, torture and maiming as instruments of justice.

Unbelievable! Using dead and maimed bodies to promote the radical leftist agenda …

Because of these undeniable and pervasive double standards, the specific identity of the Boston Marathon bomber (or bombers) is not some minor detail — it will almost certainly dictate what kind of governmental, political and societal response we see in the coming weeks. That means regardless of your particular party affiliation, if you care about everything from stopping war to reducing the defense budget to protecting civil liberties to passing immigration reform, you should hope the bomber was a white domestic terrorist. Why? Because only in that case will privilege work to prevent the Boston attack from potentially undermining progress on those other issues.

What the hell does responding to a terror attack have to do with stopping war, reducing the defense budget, protecting civil liberties, and passing immigration reform. Is this douchebag claiming that terrorism will impede the international socialists and their dream of a democratic socialist state. By the way, has anyone noticed those starving people who are denied their human rights in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea; that communist paradise on Earth where everybody is equal and there is justice for all?

To know that’s true is to simply consider how America reacts to different kinds of terrorism.

Though FBI data show fewer terrorist plots involving Muslims than terrorist plots involving non-Muslims, America has mobilized a full-on war effort exclusively against the prospect of Islamic terrorism. Indeed, the moniker “War on Terrorism” has come to specifically mean “War on Islamic Terrorism,” involving everything from new laws like the Patriot Act, to a new torture regime, to new federal agencies like the Transportation Security Administration and Department of Homeland Security, to wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to mass surveillance of Muslim communities. This is insanity. We should open our arms and let down out guard, openly embrace an un-reformed Islam whose main religious works demand the death or enslavement of infidels … non-believers in Allah as taught by his Prophets? And before you jump on the Bible, let’s remember two things: one, we are living in modern times and there is no nation-state that is run on biblical principles (including the Vatican); and two, all other religions have tolerance for other beliefs and support human rights.

While I am not pleased by some of the legislation that appears to violate our rights, I am not opposed to large-scale data mining to determine threat vectors. Knowing that many of these so-called detection systems are basically ineffective because there are not enough translators and analysts to do the job right – and that inter-agency rivalries are often more important than protecting the American people. This is a function of corrupt politicians using tragedies for their own self-serving purposes.

Bottom line …

Please forgive the language as I am mad, really mad … that this radical left-wing person who portrays themselves as an American is trying to paint a false portrait of America and to encourage our leadership, such as it may be with a person who favors Islam, to relax our vigilance.

I also note the great long-term plan of Islam, to infiltrate countries and gain political influence – financed mainly by the radical Mosque-builders and Whabbists in Saudi Arabia. A nation that somehow has been given a pass in return for multi-national corporation petroleum deals. It should also be noted that the politicians have not moved America towards energy independence which would go a long way into curtailing the petrodollars which seem to be financing international terror.

I cannot get over the thought that some douchebag is more concerned over “white privilege” and the possibility that the outcome of the Boston Bombing investigation may disadvantage a radical left-wing democrat agenda.

As always, comments are welcome. Feel free to debate your points.
