PROGRESSIVE CONGRESSIONAL CAUCUS: SOCIALIST BUDGET BAD FOR AMERICA, BAD FOR AMERICANS, GOOD FOR OUR ENEMIES
“Progressive” is the new code word for “socialist/communist” … used because there are enough Americans that can plainly see what a socialist/communist ruling elite and central planning has done for the worker’s paradises in Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea (where power is absolute), Russia and elsewhere.
What American socialists are thinking … <my comments>
Job Creation • Infrastructure – substantially increases infrastructure investment to the level the American Society of Civil Engineers says is necessary to close our infrastructure needs gap <support for socialist unions and a guarantee of higher costs, construction delays, grossly over-budget cost overruns and more people than are necessary mandated by work rules> • Education – funds school modernizations and rehiring laid-off teachers <continuing to throw money an ineffective unionized education that is failing to educate our children> • Aid to States – closes the recession-caused gap in state budgets for two years, allowing the rehiring of cops, firefighters, and other public employees <a bailout of under-funded and unfunded pension obligations that is bankrupting municipalities and states; does nothing to curb spending> • Making Work Pay – boosts consumer demand by reinstating an expanded tax credit for three years <give away in return for votes> • Emergency Unemployment Compensation – allows beneficiaries to claim up to 99 weeks of unemployment benefits in high-unemployment states for two years <almost two years without a demand for re-training or education. You can get a two-year degree in this time frame.> • Public Works Job Programs and Aid to Distressed Communities – includes job programs such as a Park Improvement Corps, Student Jobs Corps, and Child Care Corps <permanently expand the size of government and the costs to run government – more government workers are likely to vote for more government programs.> Fair Individual Tax • Immediately allows Bush tax cuts to expire for families earning over $250K <class warfare – tax the rich and disadvantage small business.> • Higher tax rates for millionaires and billionaires (from 45% to 49%) <class warfare – tax the rich and disadvantages the producers in the country in favor of the non-producers> • Taxes income from investments the same as income from wages <no incentives for investments in American industry or commerce> Fair Corporate Tax • Ends corporate tax bias toward moving jobs and profits overseas <kills business competition and removes deductibility of normal business tax deduction> • Enacts a financial transactions tax <tax everything multiple times – raises taxes significantly> • Reduces deductions for corporate jets, meals, and entertainment <kills productivity and sales activities> Defense • Returns Pentagon spending to 2006 levels, focusing on modern security needs <cripples defense of America and our allies – significantly benefits our enemies> Health Care • No benefit cuts to Medicare, Medicaid, or Social Security <no reform of waste, fraud and abuse> • Reduces health care costs by adopting a public option, negotiating drug prices, and reducing fraud <more government control over the lives of every citizen> Environment • Prices carbon pollution with a rebate to hold low income households harmless <more phony global warming to increase government control over the economy and all productivity using energy creation, storage, transmission and usage. Rewards gross polluters at the cost of rate-payers and consumers> • Eliminates corporate tax subsidies for oil, gas, and coal companies GETTING AMERICANS BACK TO WORK <no incentive for small companies to explore for new resources.> The Back to Work Budget creates nearly 7 million jobs in its first [no number given on website] … <government jobs, not private sector jobs> <Source> |
Once again, the CPC budget is about advancing socialism and disadvantaging America and her citizens.

Bottom line …
They are telling you what they want to do. They are demonstrating who they are. Now it is up to you to learn the truth and act accordingly. If you fail to act, you will most certainly reap what you sow.
