Another Obama & Emanuel FAIL? Teen senselessly killed hours after sister heard Obama's speech that didn't mention gangs! Black activists jump and down about the use of the N-Word, but say nothing about GANG violence that is killing them?
Yesterday, February 16, 2013 I posted …
Standing in front of all the movers and shakers, in the neighborhood where a 15-year old student was gunned downed by gangbanger, the President speaks obliquely about gun control, but fails to address the real cause of the problem: minority gangs, the source of the majority of gun violence, crime and drugs causing the killing and disruption of life in the neighborhoods of Chicago and similarly situated inner cities. As I have said many times before, it is not a gun control issue, it is a crime control issue. And, the President of the United States, the leadership of the State of Illinois, and the leadership of Chicago stand their like the corrupt liberal ideologues they are and refuse to address the real issue: gangs.
Here are the excerpts of a speech from the nation’s top executive, the President of the United States, in front of the leaders of the City of Chicago and the State of Illinois. All committed liberals, all anti-gun advocates and all disingenuous and dishonest when it comes to telling their constituents the truth …
Remarks By The President On Strengthening The Economy For The Middle Class (Hyde Park Career Academy Chicago, Illinois)
THE PRESIDENT: Hey, Chicago! (Applause.) Hello, Chicago! Hello, everybody. Hello, Hyde Park! (Applause.) It is good to be home! It is good to be home. Everybody have a seat. You all relax. It’s just me. You all know me. It is good to be back home.
A couple of people I want to acknowledge -- first of all, I want to thank your Mayor, my great friend, Rahm Emanuel for his outstanding leadership of the city and his kind introduction. (Applause.) I want to thank everybody here at Hyde Park Academy for welcoming me here today. (Applause.) A couple other people I want to acknowledge -- Governor Pat Quinn is here doing great work down in Springfield. (Applause.) My great friend and senior Senator Dick Durbin is in the house. (Applause.) Congressman Bobby Rush is here. (Applause.) We’re in his district. Attorney General and former seatmate of mine when I was in the state senate, Lisa Madigan. (Applause.) County Board President -- used to be my alderwoman -- Tony Preckwinkle in the house. (Applause.) And I’ve got -- I see a lot of reverend clergy here, but I’m not going to mention them, because if I miss one I’m in trouble. (Laughter.) They’re all friends of mine. They’ve been knowing me.
Some people may not know this, but obviously, this is my old neighborhood. I used to teach right around the corner. This is where Michelle and I met, where we fell in love --
When will this madness stop?
2 questioned in shooting of teen killed hours after sister heard Obama’s speech
Janay McFarlane, 18, was killed late Friday just hours after her younger sister was among a group of teens who were onstage as President Barack Obama gave a speech in Chicago on violence. Two people are being questioned in the shooting death of a Janay McFarlane, who was shot to death in North Chicago hours after her little sister sat just feet away as President Barack Obama spoke in Chicago Friday about the violence plaguing the nation. McFarlane was shot to death hours after her little sister, Destini, 14, sat just feet away as President Barack Obama as he spoke in Chicago Friday about the violence plaguing the nation.
McFarlane, 18, was in North Chicago visiting friends and family. She was with a friend late Friday night when a bullet meant for a friend struck McFarlane, Blakely said.McFarlane was shot once in the head around 11:30 p.m. in an alley in the 1300 block of Jackson Street in the far north suburb, Lake County Coroner Thomas Rudd said. McFarlane had been a student at Hyde Park but left after she got pregnant, according to her mother, who said she was on track to graduate from an alternative school this spring and hoped to make a career in culinary arts. Woman killed in North Chicago was innocent victim of gang violence says dad
Janay McFarlane, 18, was killed late Friday just hours after her younger sister was among a group of teens who were onstage as President Barack Obama gave a speech in Chicago on violence.
The father of an 18-year-old woman shot to death in North Chicago said Sunday he believes the crime was gang-related and that his daughter was an innocent victim. The victim’s father, Joe McFarlane, said police told him the assailant was aiming for a man who was walking with his daughter to a store. He said Janay was in North Chicago to visit relatives and to attend a cousin’s performance with a dance group.
“I’m from the streets and from what I can gather, this was definitely gang-related,” McFarlane said. He said his daughter was not in any gang. <Source>
Bottom line …
When will Obama and his fellow democrat travelers declare gangs as domestic terrorists and purge them from America? You can survive being called the N-word, but you cannot survive a gang bullet. So when are the Reverends Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Jeremiah Wright, Father Phleger, Minister Louis Farrakahn and others radical leftists demand action against the gangs?
