The common misperception that blacks cannot be racists is proven false day-after-day, press conference after press conference …
I am tired of black politicians, in this case Georgia’s Hank Johnson, making everything about race. Most of these politicians are little more than self-serving racists who have capitalized on race for their own personal profit.
The issue of gun control – because they do not want to talk about crime control and the overwhelming and disproportionate involvement of minority criminals and gangs – is being portrayed as a racial issue. If there race-baiters were intellectually honest, they would note that it is the motivation of the person and not their access to any given weapon that determines the level of anti-societal behavior. And that members of minority communities are disproportionately affected because they live in so-called “gun free zones” in democrat-dominated areas with strict gun-control. Again, if they were intellectually honest, they could answer a simple question: why are they disadvantaging and disarming all legal law-abiding citizens when they have already proven that law enforcement and the state cannot control criminal activity – especially criminal activity – in their own precincts.
Go to any shooting range and you will see people of all backgrounds, colors, etc. shooting side-by-side, discussing guns, shooting, hunting, their collections – and in many cases, the blindness of the corrupt politicians.
Rep. Hank Johnson on NRA: ‘They Still Cannot Get Over’ That Obama Is ‘Black’
Representative Hank Johnson (D-Ga.) said that the National Rifle Association (NRA) opposed President Barack Obama's gun control plans because the group “still cannot get over” the fact that the president is “black.”
Following a Capitol Hill press conference on Wednesday, Rep. Johnson suggested that NRA opposition to Obama’s gun control policies was personal. CNSNews.com then asked Johnson, "You said just a minute ago that part of the NRA's true colors was a personal dislike of the president. Why do you think that is?" Rep. Johnson said, "First of all, he is a black. And as a black person being the president of the United States, that is something they still cannot get over."
Johnson said that it was because the NRA could not "get over" the election of a black president. "They couldn't get over the first election, [and] they're still shell-shocked at the second election," he said. "That's a pun, shell-shocked." <Source: Rep. How stupid is Hank Johnson? Listen to his Congressional testimony where he wonders if placing soldiers on Guam will cause the island to “tip over.” …
"My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize" Is this a representative who should even have a vote on whether or not the government will disarm law-abiding citizens in favor of “tipping” the balance of power in gun-free zones to those with criminal intent.
Bottom line …
Instead of arming the Mexican drug cartels to bring about socialist gun control restrictions, perhaps the Obama Administration can explain why the democrats refuse to take swift and severe action against violent drug dealers and gang members in democrat-controlled areas with extraordinarily high crime rates. Areas like Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, Oakland – where the majority of deaths are gang or drug related. Why are these democrat politicians and their appointed democrat judges soft on crime and refusing to use the laws already on the books to lock away violent predators?
You cannot legislate morality. You cannot control crazies or criminals. So the corrupt politicians need to prove their worth by imposing draconian restrictions on law-abiding citizens. Much like the political Kabuki Theatre that surrounds a TSA which has never caught nor thwarted a terrorist act.
With the democrats, especially those who happen to be racist black democrats, might it simply be that they are afraid of cracking-down (no pun intended) on their own constituency – and possibly a source of their funding?
It is time for honesty. To call-out the politicians who use race as a defense or a reason for unacceptable behavior. If you want crime control – do it! Disarming law-abiding citizens only raises the pool of potential victims.
And to answer the question of who needs a scary-looking “assault weapon” – they are banning weapons based on cosmetic features because they know that ordinary people without federal gun licenses cannot own, possess, sell or use fully-automatic assault weapons. And that criminals very rarely use fully-automatic weapons in the commission of a crime.
Wake up people – call bullshit on the politicians who are taking your money and purchasing political support for themselves by granting favors to the special interests.
