One mystery of Yasser Arafat's life seemed unsolved at the time of his death: How much money did he have, and where is it? In the mid-1990s, Arafat controlled a financial empire worth at least $3 billion. By the time of his death, he was down to his last $1 billion, according to Israeli intelligence estimates. Palestinian leaders believe his widow Suha would like to make off with what is left of his cash, a suspicion deepened by her charges last week that Arafat's successors were "trying to bury [him] alive."

Ion Mihai Pacepa, one of the highest ranking communist defectors of all time, Rahman al-Qudwa became an important political ally of the communist bloc following the death of Egypt's president, Gamal Abdul Nasser, in 1970. Gen. Pacepa's account of Rahman's intimate relations with the communist bloc is related in a book entitled 'Red Horizons'. As it happens, Pacepa tells us that the communists trusted Rahman because he was a voracious homosexual. This alone made him a workable Kremlin puppet, because once the Romanian intelligence services had taped Rahman's sex sessions with men and boys, he was completely in their hands. Pacepa's account, communist dictator Nicolae Ceausescu ordered his people to bring Arafat over to Romania. In late 1970 the chief of Romanian intelligence in Egypt, Gen. Constantine Munteanu, arrived in Bucharest with Arafat in tow. Munteanu had gathered an extensive file on Arafat, which characterized the PLO leader as 'so much cleverness, blood, and filth all together in one man.' Bottom line …

Billions in international aid have washed through Palestinian hands, much of it stolen and sequestered out of reach of the people and whatever government claims legitimacy today. It’s all a propaganda war with the media quick to show you the bodies and the destruction on the theory “if it bleeds, it leads” to attract an audience.

The truth is far different from what we have been show. Areas in Chicago and Detroit look worse than these pictures, yet few make the comparison.

Wake up people. There is no moral equivalency between those who say they want peace and then lob rockets into civilian areas of Israel. It’s the North Korea extortion racket – pay us or we will make trouble. Because China and Russia do not want to absorb millions of illiterate, starving peasants, they go along with the program. What is the similarity between that situation and the large oil-rich Arab countries who could easily absorb all of the Palestinian people without blinking.

The truth is that nobody wants to embrace these troublemakers. They were complicit in trashing Lebanon when they were kicked out of the Transjordan. As for their “alleged right of return,” how many people know that they willingly abandoned their property to get away from the Arab-Israel war, thinking they would return after the Jews were annihilated.

Wake up. There is only one truth in the Middle East – NEVER AGAIN! The Palestinians were given land, and they continue to make war. Now they want more land, and will continue making trouble. After all it is their time-proven business model.
