Having mastered “dirty politics,” Al Gore goes on to “Dirty Weather?” 

Consider, for a moment, that the dynamic forces of the Sun, which provides the energy to drive our weather, the position of Earth with respect to the Sun, the rotational dynamics of the Earth spinning like a top, deep ocean currents, volcanic action, and the greatest greenhouse gas, water vapor, can be overcome by a relatively few dirty coal-fired energy plants – and you have the basis for Al Gore’s Big Lie – Part II.   

Al Gore to do 'dirty weather report'

Al Gore hopes to show links between climate change and the effects of extreme weather worldwide with an online and social media-fueled event built around the idea of “dirty weather.”  Gore’s advocacy group, the Climate Reality Project, announced Sunday that its second multimedia “24 Hours of Reality” event will occur Nov. 14-15 and bear the title “The Dirty Weather Report.”

The most ignorant statement about the weather, ever?

“We are in a new era where the ... extreme weather that is occurring is not fully caused by the natural cycles of time and natural events, but by dirty energy, so it is really important to articulate that and name it more precisely,” said Maggie Fox, the CEO of the Climate Reality Project, in an interview Saturday.

Extreme weather has been linked to the heat energy contained in oceans. With the ENSO (El Niño/ La Niña Southern Oscillation) causing the “extreme weather” found in many regions of the world. Floods, droughts, hurricanes, tornados, etc. can be linked to such ocean activity. Then there is the Southern Oscillation, the North Atlantic oscillation, the Pacific Decadal Oscillation, the Walker Circulation and others – all cycles that are thought to be responsible for so-called “extreme weather.” All significantly more powerful than all of the dirty “coal” plants in the world.

In many instances, extreme weather is defined by its effect on a population. Unfortunately, idiots continue to build dense housing where known weather events occur, thus increasing the apparent “extreme weather” effects perceived by man. Why should New Orleans be built on land that is below sea level and require levees to keep it safe? Why should people build elaborate homes in hurricane and tornado areas without spending sufficient money to insure their safety? Why should the nation pay for flood insurance for people who build projects on a known floodplain. Extreme weather – as it is perceived by the liberals – is not what is found in deserts, in the Arctic or Antarctica – it is what affects man; which gives rise to the absurdity that man can make public policies which can affect global climate.

Even if man could somehow manipulate the weather on a global scale, it would take several hundred or thousands of years to see the effect, given the natural variability of the global weather cycles and the difficulty of dealing with small variations of a few degrees. The con men will be long dead, having lived a great life at our expense.

Another big lie?  

Organizers call the November event part of an effort to counter the lobbying and financial power of oil and coal interests by using social media and other tools to engage people directly.

Governments and special interests have poured billions into global climate research and projects – dwarfing any possible contribution of the so-called “powerful” oil and coal interests. Does anyone doubt the fact that if “green energy” was abundant, reliable and cost-effective, that the major energy producers would not already have co-opted the field and supply energy to an increasingly energy-hungry world? But the truth is that without government grants, subsidies and mandated usage – you have the Chevy Volt, an insanely expensive car which nobody except showboating liberals want or need and which required massive government subsidies to produce. Where are the environmentalists when wind turbines are slaughtering millions of birds and they are holding up projects over a few rodents?

Gore said on Sunday that “dirty weather” is weather that’s enabled by emissions from fossil fuels and “misinformation” about climate change.
“This crisis has to be understood in order to be stopped. The misinformation includes messaging that it is not happening, that we can’t solve it, that we can’t afford to act,” the former vice president said in a videotaped announcement.

As we learned from the Climategate expose of the global climate warmists, much scientific data is unreliable, the computerized models deeply flawed and the meager scientific data discovered may not be applied on a global scale. It appears that the old saying is true. “The more we know, the more we realize what we don’t know.” Science is not done by consensus or by those biased by funding issues. The science does not support legislative initiatives which would create anti-freedom, anti-American controls over our economy, our health and well-being and our freedoms.

People like Al Gore make their money by speculation and engaging in heavily subsidized projects that can’t stand on their own. These are the people who want to allow dangerous polluters to continue their pollution of the land, air and water – if only they pay tribute to the government and Wall Street by purchasing indulgences and permissions to continue polluting. Corruption on a scale never before seen. 

Bottom line …

If Al Gore had any real facts or even balls, he would not be engaging in remote media events and never responding to a debate request from someone like Lord Christopher Monckton, who is able to handily refute Gore’s climate assertions. In fact, Gore refused to testify “under oath” or engage in any Congressional testimony where Lord Monkton appeared and was able to challenge his assertions.

This is a con-job having nothing to do with the climate, but everything to do with money and political power. Global climate change is real and is a natural part of our ecosystem. But man can not change the weather by legislation any more than they can stop drunk drivers from killing people on our roads.

It is time we put the “big lie” to rest and those who have stolen billions of dollars of our taxpayer dollars in jail for fraud. In the Al Gore wing of Alcatraz – located in the not-so-sunny San Francisco Bay, handy to the “left coast” socialist lawyers who are damaging our country.
