In many ways, I am pleased that Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa taunted the Republicans by saying “can't just trot out a brown face.“ Because it gives me the opportunity to point out that the Mayor is a prototypical democrat scumbag.

• His real name is Antonio Ramón Villar, Jr., and the last name “Villaraigosa” is made up of his and his former wife’s (Corina Raigosa)  last name.
• He is a Mexican-style socialist and has a history of immigration rights agitation as a member of MEChA while finishing his degree at UCLA.
• Learned the law while attending an unaccredited law school frequented by labor union activists. Failed the bar exam at least four times.
• Organizer and Field Representative for United Teachers of Los Angeles (UTLA) which has caused significant disruptions in Los Angeles schools while promoting their positions.
• Part of the democrat-controlled California legislature which has spent California into near bankruptcy.
• He cheated on his wife while she was undergoing treatment for cancer.
• He has numerous ethics violations for not reporting thousands of dollars in gifts.
• Complicit in moving personnel around departments in Los Angeles government to avoid laying-off union members
• He engages in nepotism; paying his daughter $68,000 for answering constituent calls.

You can't top these prime democrat credentials.

Villaraigosa: Republicans 'can't just trot out a brown face'

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa said that Republicans "can't just trot out a brown face" to make inroads with the Latino community, an increasingly important growing bloc.

As the GOP prepares to showcase some of its rising Hispanic stars during the next two days of its national convention, the Democratic mayor dismissed Republican overtures toward Latinos as insincere. "You can't just trot out a brown face or a Spanish surname and expect people are going to vote for your party or your candidate," Villaraigosa said at a press conference here organized by the Democratic National Committee. <Source>

Bottom line …

Before anyone takes this Mexican version of “Barack Obama” seriously, perhaps they should consider that he and his fellow travelers are the reason California is near bankruptcy and social chaos. Like Barack Obama, he is telegenic and well-spoken while in a scripted environment. Without a script, the results are often funny -- like the time he tried to "rev up" a soccer team and everyone sat there stonefaced.

With national aspirations (failing upward as the case may be), he is the last person who should represent the public. All the public – because he seems to represent himself, Hispanics, the unions and fellow democrats before representing his constituents.
