Question: Is United States foreign policy driven by closet anti-Semites?

Historically, effete Northeastern patricians, the movers and shakers of American society have looked down their refined WASP (White, Anglo-Saxon, Protestant) noses at cultures other than their own. Originally descended from the robber barons, many of the privileged ivy-league children of wealth, privilege and position entered government service, notably the intelligence services and the State Department, where their jaundiced view of the world reflected their own prejudices. Add to that the periodic invasion of the government by Southerners, Baptists and evangelicals and one might be able to make a case for subtle, but institutional racism against Jews, Catholics, Blacks and Hispanics – in short, anyone that was markedly different in thought, culture or practice.

So why am I not surprised when Investor’s Business Daily puts forth an article asserting that for Arabs and the State of Israel, it is always 1947. Just reading the article smacks of Waspish self-interests.

“For Arabs And State Of Israel, It's Always 1947  by Richard Cohen”

“Say what you will about the Arab world, it's hard to earn its gratitude. President Obama went to Egypt and not Israel. He demanded Israel cease adding new settlements in the West Bank. He treated Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with a chilling disdain.”

“In Jordan, 84% disapproved of the way Obama was handling the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. In Egypt, the figure was 88% and in Lebanon it was 90%.”

“For Obama, the figures must be disheartening. They strongly suggest that his attempt to woo the Arab world, to convince it that America can be an honest broker between Israel and the Palestinians, has dismally failed.”

Can America, with its own self-interests mostly in the pursuit of commercial energy reserves, be honest in anything it promotes in the Middle East? I think not. Especially when the efforts are aimed at securing commercial advantages and worldwide recognition and acclaim.

“In fact, the extent of this failure is most stark in Lebanon. There, 100% of Shiite respondents — in other words, Hezbollah and others — have no faith in Obama and his good intentions.”

“This may be a setback for Obama, but it is paradoxically a success for American values.”

What the Arab world seems to appreciate is that America will never agree to what the Arab world most wants — an Islamic state where a Jewish one now exists.”

“This entirely reasonable conclusion is based on what has long been American policynot what the State Department wanted but what the American people supported. America has always liked the idea of Israel. The Arab world, for totally understandable reasons, has always hated it.”

“A fundamental document in this area — a once-secret CIA analysis from 1947 — was unearthed (to my knowledge) by Thomas W. Lippman and reported in the winter 2007 issue of the Middle East Journal. The CIA strongly argued that creation of Israel was not in America's interests and that therefore Washington ought to be opposed.”

“This was no different than what later diplomats and military men (most recently, David Petraeus) have argued and it is without a doubt correct. Supporting Israel hurts America in the Islamic — particularly the Arab — world and, given the crucial importance of Middle Eastern oil, makes no practical sense.”

In what appears to be a remarkable capacity for observing the obvious …

“The CIA further argued that the so-called Arab-Israeli conflict would soon widen to become an Israeli-Islamic conflict — another bull's-eye for what was then an infant intelligence service.”

“That process was already under way, which is why some non-Arabs (Bosnian Muslims, for instance) fought the creation of Israel, and has only intensified as radical Islam, laced with healthy doses of anti-Semitism, has gotten even stronger.”

Considering that the same views were held by the British elite diplomats and officer class – many of whom were openly anti-Semitic, it appears that the British believed much as the CIA; that the inherent conflict between the State of Israel and their Arab neighbors would be solved by the Arabs overrunning the newly-formed State of Israel and all would be right in the petrochemical world. Genocide and ethnic cleansing far from their anti-Semitic minds.

“But where the CIA went wrong — and not, alas, for the last time — was in predicting that the Arabs would defeat Israel and that the state would not survive. The CIA was pretty sure of the outcome, what a later CIA figure might have called a ‘slam dunk.’"

“What neither the CIA nor, for that matter, the anti-Israel State Department recognized in the late 1940s is that America's interests are not always measurably pragmatic — metrics, in the jargon of our day. Sometimes, our interests reflect our national ethic, an affinity for other democracies, sympathy for the underdog. These, too, are in America's interests and they may be modified, but not abandoned, for the sake of mere metrics.”

“This is why Obama's overture to the Arab world, clumsily executed, was never going to succeed. America can please some Arab governments — Egypt and Jordan, for instance — but not the Arab people. What they want, and what they have been told repeatedly they deserve, is a return of Palestinian refugees to what is now Israel and total control over all of Jerusalem.”

Failure and surrender is not an option …

“These are both out of the question as far as Israel is concerned. It is not willing to give up its capital and, in relatively short time, its Jewish majority.”

Considering that Israel has openly extended friendship, technology and other resources to their Arab neighbors only to see it be rebuffed is a clear demonstration that the Arabs do not want peaceful coexistence. In fact they are often more afraid of their neighbors than they are of Israel. One need only consider the beautiful, thriving Lebanon to see what has been done in the name of inter-Arab conflict. One might even make the case that the Lebanese civil war was precipitated by an influx of Palestinians which fundamentally changed the nature of the population, thus bringing internal conflict to this peaceful, productive country. Egypt and Jordan both ejected the Palestinians in fear that their worlds would be toppled by internal revolt.  So it is of little wonderment that we find Palestinians – sometimes at the direction of Iran – continuing to foment trouble in the Middle East.

The uncertain future …

“This week, Palestinians and Israelis will once again talk peace in Washington.”

But until both sides, particularly the Arab peoples, give up on what they really want, the clock will remain where it has been. Those Pew polls show that's around 1947.”

How can antone rely on the Palestinians, who historically were the bearers of intrigue and conflict, to not  pursue their own advantages in their adopted host countries? How many times have the Palestinians ignored significant Israeli concessions – in favor on continued turmoil? Unless the world recognizes terror as a Palestinian negotiating ploy, then we will continue to fight an amorphous asymmetrical war against an enemy hiding in plain sight.

The problem as I see it …

Richard Cohen has done a great job of pointing out two salient facts: one, that there are and probably always will be those who regard Israel as an annoyance on the world stage and two, the conflict between the Israelis and Arabs is simply intractable as the problem has not been defined in solvable terms.

The problem that refuses to be discussed in this politically correct world is the clash of divergent cultures; one modern based on tolerance, liberty and freedom and one ancient, based on autocratic despots ruling a people kept subjugated by religion, ignorance and brute force. All exacerbated by a people who use terror as a negotiating ploy: worldwide blackmail if you will.

One need only observe the freedoms in Israel where every subject has at least one more opinion than the number of participants discussing the issue. And then to look away, at rulers made wealthy with petrodollars and whose prime objective is to preserve their Kingdom by strength of arms rather than the strength of ideas. A debate over cultures which has gone on for decades and is likely to last until the old regimes are overthrown and a religious reformation brings tolerance to those who process to pursue the “Religion of Peace” with a bloody vengeance.

Where the United States has gone wrong …

The United States, for all of the robber barons and their inbred offspring, the problem is similar to that of the Arab nations – the want to preserve the status quo: their power, prestige and a never-ending supply of funding which sets them apart from ordinary Americans. These are the very same people who employ lobbyists, lawyers and others to subvert the political process to maintain what they already have and to expand their influence as time passes.

To my way of thinking, these are the people who have failed to support a national policy of energy independence. Consider that a rational energy policy, featuring green, sustainable, high-availability and cost effective nuclear energy would have eliminated much of the hidden turmoil roiling the modern world today. And until we elect “honest brokers” to represent “we the people,” it is unlikely that we will do much more than point fingers, fight useless and non-productive wars and try to stage-manage a world to secure commercial advantage.

With abundant cost-effective energy, we can do more of the things we profess are important: reducing pollution, providing clean, safe drinking water, improving sanitation, enlarging the food supply – things which desperately need to be exported to third-world nations.

But there is that little sticking point: special interests and the corrupt politicians who do their bidding.

Consider that when voting in the upcoming election cycles. Obama, the Congressional democrats and their fellow travelers (not to forget the complacent and equally corrupt republicans) are symptoms of the problem, not the solution.

VOTE as if your life and your children’s future depended on your actions – because now, more than ever, it really does.

-- steve

As a footnote:  I do not blame the ordinary Arab citizens who were born into the conflict and whose education and environment has conditioned their thinking. They are entitled to their beliefs, their comforts and their culture – as long as it does not adversely affect others and deny them similar freedoms. It is their leadership that should be held accountable for modernizing both their religion and their existence. In a sense, they are also wandering in the desert looking for the leadership which will take them to the promised land.

Global Warming: The real question is highlighted in a new report ...

I have always believed that man-made carbon dioxide was not a causal factor to global warming, primarily for four reasons:

1.  Both temperature and carbon dioxide levels have been much lower and much greater in past times – and these predate the industrial revolution.

2.  Carbon dioxide levels lag the rise in temperature by 600 to 1000 years (depending on the data set used) and thus cannot be a causal factor. And which can be easily explained. It appears that the rise in atmospheric carbon dioxide is a result of warming oceans and part of nature’s self-regulating feedback mechanism that keeps the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and the carbon dioxide dissolved in the oceans at more or less a stable balance.

3.  The energy output of the Sun, the Earth’s orbital path, the rotational dynamics and precession of the Earth, the volcanic action and plate tectonics, the ocean’s currents and the effects of the largest greenhouse gas, water vapor, greatly overshadow the miniscule effects of carbon dioxide.

4.  The alleged effects of concentrated carbon dioxide levels exist only within computer models with suspect assumptions, manipulated input data and which use carbon dioxide forcings that are at least two times higher than normal concentrations. These models cannot replicate historical data (error-filled as it is) unless you adjust the model, data and timeframe to make it appear to be a correlative match.

Therefore, the demonization of this life-sustaining gas, carbon dioxide, is more about providing a reason for the public policies needed to control energy creation, distribution and usage in order to control economies and populations. It should be noted that the UN – and it’s IPCC – are mostly diplomats and politicians, not scientists.

So it is encouraging when I read in the Los Angeles Times that  …

“Climate change: Is El Niño heating up?”

“ The weather pattern known as El Niño, which can bring heavy rains to Southern California, has doubled in intensity and warmth and shifted westward over several decades, according to scientists from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.”

“The findings, published in Geophysical Research Letters, a journal of the American Geophysical Union, measured ocean temperature and analyzed satellite data over three decades.”

Here is the nugget of truth that the global warming alarmists overlook …

“JPL oceanographer Tong Lee, an author of the paper, said in an interview that more research was needed to determine if the changes in El Niño were due to the documented rise in global air and ocean temperatures worldwide since the Industrial Revolution or due to natural variability. But he noted, "’El Niño is the largest fluctuation of the climate system. It has worldwide impact on climate patterns, so any change in El Niño’s behavior might cause a change in its impact.’”

Lee suggested that the findings revealed ‘two competing effects. Shifting El Niño’s location could mean less rainfall’ in Southern California, he said. Still, ‘since it is getting stronger, we may get more rainfall. How these two effects play out is something that needs to be investigated.’ The study, he said, ‘documents the change of a major climate system, but I cannot tell you the impact.’”

Here is how science should be done, by an honest researcher. And more remarkably, reported (up to this point) without sensation by a good reporter in a left-biased newspaper.

The fact that nature is infinitely variable and our climate appears to be cyclical, somewhat makes a one-way upward temperature catastrophe improbable. The dire predictions of Al Gore and the IPCC have been tamped down or disproven as speculative folderol. Considering that we are recovering from the little ice age, it would be normal and proper to see the temperature trend line moving upward; how much upward before leveling and returning downward is anyone’s guess.

Severe weather impacts based on warming oceans and deep ocean currents – both of which are beyond man’s ability to change …

“El Niño is a climate event in the Pacific Ocean in which trade winds weaken and warm, and nutrient-poor ocean water builds up in the western Pacific, disrupting fisheries and leading to severe weather events worldwide.”

Perhaps man should follow the age-old practice of adaption: moving to where conditions are most hospitable and preparing to maximize natural and man-made resources such as  shelter, water and food. One look at Southern California illustrates the point. Southern California is technically a desert – but with adaptive mechanisms is almost a paradise on Earth.

Introducing bias (or the other side of the story)  …

Whoops, I forgot that this was the Los Angeles Times and am not surprised to read:

“Bill Patzert, a JPL climatologist who was not involved in the paper, said three decades were too short a time period to draw conclusions. But, he added, ‘This is another piece of evidence that the climate is shifting. It is clear that in the last century the planet has warmed by almost two degrees Fahrenheit. More than 80% of that is taken up by oceans. Oceans are the canary in the coal mine.’”

“Canary in the coal mine” seems to be a mantra of the environmental movement which tends to push politically-motivated public policy on any scientific finding which supports their ideology. Here is one of the rhetorical tricks of the Marxist-infiltrated environmental movement and their media fellow travelers: list the work of a credible scientists and then add commentary from someone “not involved in the paper” which supports your political position.

“Patzert said the paper was observational rather than conclusive. ‘What will happen if this new type of El Niño becomes permanent? Will it give us wetter or dryer  El Niños?’ he said. ‘It is too early to tell. The one thing we know is that the future ain’t what it used to be. The planet is definitely warming, and El Niño has morphed into something different.’”

Of course, there are those who are strongly invested in global warming as a funding mechanism for their institutions and their own research. Where dramatic and catastrophic tales of disaster drive special interest profits.

Patzert’s statement that the “paper was observational rather than conclusive” is to state an obvious fact about “doing science.” Few papers are conclusive and those that are, are conclusive up until the time more information or another theory is put forth.

Patzert’s trick of asking a “what if question” goes far beyond the practice of good science and into the speculative realm of science fiction – which can easily be manipulated by dishonest brokers within the environmental movement to drive their ideological agenda.

And most dishonest of all, is Patzert’s statement “That the planet is definitely warming and El Niño has morphed into something different.”

One, he states a conclusive, definitive fact based on nothing having to do with the research at hand. Yes, the planet appears to be warming in some places, just as it appears to be cooling in others. Global warming is about the planet’s mean temperature – which given the observational errors in terrestrial temperature measurement and the fact that some terrestrial findings are contradicted by satellite data; makes the statement suspect. As for his assertion that El Niño has morphed into something different disregards the fact that El Niño is infinitely variable and part of nature’s great mysteries.

Bottom line …

While there are somewhat observable patterns, there is much we do not know about both nature and the shifting climate trends. Which is the best reason we should not allow politicians to institute draconian Marxist public policies based on incomplete science.

And while the California Institute of Technology is one of the premier scientific and engineering institutions in the world, let us not forget that the major portion of their funding is from the government and the leadership has been hyper-politicized to insure the institution’s survival in these times of financial crisis.

The short answer is: we don’t know the answers to questions we are only beginning to ask. We do know that governments and politicians are rarely the answer to honest research and public policy as they are guided primarily by self-interest and their special interest contributors.

Dr. Patzert might be a fine scientist who adds a valuable contribution to the body of knowledge in his own field; but there is also evidence that he is also a political creature of the left, spewing invective in outrage to what he perceives as people with a different opinion.

Patzert Quote|KCET

"Come on, give us a break. The LA Times must really be hard up for revenue. The Cato Institute is a blatant creature of conservative corporations and foundations. The major purpose of the Cato Institute is to provide propaganda and sound bites (not scientific facts) for conservative and libertarian politicians and journalists. Their ads and propaganda are conveniently free of reference to their primary funders such as tobacco, fossil fuel, investment, media, medical, and other governmental regulated industries. Cato is one of the most blatant examples of propaganda spewing "think tanks" that aim at misleading the general public about the advances in our scientific understanding of a broad range of issues from the dangers of tobacco to the dangers of human-caused climate change. These folks are misleading the general public; they are flat out dishonest." -- Bill Patzert"

About Doctor William Patzert|NASA

Often called the "Prophet of California climate," Patzert is a scientist at the California Institute of Technology’s NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, Calif.

“His research is focused on the application of NASA satellite data to improving our understanding of our planet's climate and important environmental problems ranging from developing El Niño, La Niña and longer-term climate forecasts to monitoring the health of coral reefs.”

“The author of many scientific and popular articles, Bill works with undergraduate and graduate students from all over the world, and lectures at many local universities.”

“A media favorite, he is often sought out by reporters and is regularly seen on local and national television representing NASA and JPL. In a recent article, he was named as one of the West’s most influential individuals in dealing with water issues.”

“During his career, he has served as a consultant to many respected organizations including NASA, the U.S. Department of Commerce, United Nations and many scientific and environmental groups.”

NPR: MANY A TRUTH IS SAID IN JEST ...

Why the American public should subsidize National Public Radio in today’s distressed financial environment is beyond me. Each time I come across their programming, I feel that the programming appears to be aimed at liberal socialists and pseudo-intellectuals;  primarily the brie and wine crowd who drink noho, quafmaster lattes. Where bashing capitalism in favor of subsidizing the “public arts” is a favorite topic.

Especially galling are those cutely-titled ugly monsters sold to pretentious people as art. Pretending that you need a refined sense of modern art to understand the message of the piece and its artist. Hogwash – the message of the artist is simple: this is a great way to make a living, supported on the public dime, as long as you have the so-called arbiters of taste and criticism in your corner. Sort of like the media shilling for Obama when the world can see that the “emperor has no clothes.”

So here is a funny video which mocks NPR’s perpetual fundraising drives to continue the fiction that NPR is mostly contributor-supported. Not mentioning the government subsidies and tax advantages that accrue to government propaganda outlets. Or the fact that some station personnel earn professional salaries, commensurate with their station size and rating – and requiring union membership to be employed. It’s not a charity, as they would have you believe – but another way liberals con the gullible out of their money.

Mocking the NPR pledge drive … (Carol: caution extremely bad language)

I find it outrageous that, even in parody, they characterize Ronald Reagan as the “inventor of Aids.”

Bottom line …

It is time we, as individuals and as a nation, stand up and call a spade a spade, ignore the corrupt and complacent media pundits and point out our incompetent, naked emperor who hasn’t a clue how to run the nation – except into the ground in pursuit of his personal political philosophy of Black Liberation Theology, also known as Marxism.

As for National (ized) Public Radio and Television, let them convert to a for-profit business model and see if their ability to inform and entertain can compete in a non-subsidized world of capitalists.

Feel free to mock those institutions which are openly mocking you as they plunder your pockets and make you feel as that you are the only one that “doesn’t get it.”

You get it alright – it’s all around you on public display. And if you don’t like it, remember to vote these weasels out of office in November.

IS OBAMA IS KNOCKING ON YOUR DOOR?

The Obamacons are trying to continue their subversion of the United States …

Just received another e-mail from Obama’s Chief Promoter, David Plouffe (Pronounced PLUFF) which urges me to join the mindless Obamacons and get out the vote.

Among the more objectionable statements are:

In 2009 and earlier this year, Organizing for America volunteers like you used the lessons learned in 2008 to win historic victories reining in Wall Street and reforming a broken health care system.”

They took a healthcare system, with its high costs and  imperfections and turned it into a snake-pit of unknown but drastically higher costs and an unknown quality of care …

  • where tremendous power is ceded to the Secretary of Health and Human Services and unelected, unvetted medical czars and other political appointees who will run panels, commissions and boards;
  • where cost-containment will triumph over individual medical care, where politicians not physicians will decide whether or not your medical care will be denied, delayed or you might be offered the option of a comfortable drug-mediated death;
  • where the 2000+ page healthcare legislation was neither read nor understood by those voting on the bill;
  • where the legislation only acts as an outline which may be subsequently modified by future corrections and amendments;
  • where special deals were made with the pharmaceutical industry, suppliers of medical equipment, insurance companies and others to silence the opposition and to raise media awareness;
  • where the cost estimates were fakes by removing significant cost items and placing them in other bills;
  • where arms were twisted and special deals and exclusions were provided to politicians who voted for the bill with the narrowest of majorities – something highly suspect if this bill was good for the citizens of the America; And
  • where the goal was building a database of information on every American citizen and being able to exert political control over them through their healthcare.

We need to protect our socialist victories and ourselves from prosecution for what we have done to the American people …

But now we need to protect those gains and keep moving America forward -- which means we've got to get back on the doors, talking to voters about how important it is to vote this fall.”

If Republicans win back control of Congress, we know what will happen: endless investigations into ginned-up controversies, non-stop attempts to repeal the progress we've made, and a complete drive to stop us from moving this country forward.”

“But we cannot go backward.”

All we have seen is higher healthcare insurance premiums …

Perhaps in order to compensate for the future increase in Obama-induced healthcare costs, the insurers have jacked up the price of healthcare premiums. Not to mention Obama’s dishonest accounting which forces four years of taxes before we even begin to see any benefits anticipated (if ever) under Obamacare.

“Health reform took a century-long fight to win. Its benefits are starting to help make sure families have the health care they deserve -- and you can bet this movement is going to protect what it's won.”

Wall Street Smoke and Mirrors …

“Wall Street reform places the strictest new regulations on banks that they've faced since the Great Depression -- no wonder the Republicans are already saying they'll fight to repeal it, to make life easier for their special-interest friends.”

Not only did they enlarge the original regulatory bureaucracy which failed to do its job the first time, the legislators ceded enormous powers to the Executive Branch. Many of these agencies have been hyper-politicized and are run by political appointees with a political agenda. These are the very same people who believe that as long as an egregious behavior is disclosed in the fine-print of the legal mumbo-jumbo, then everything is fine. Make no mistake, the truly objectionable items were watered down or, like the case of extending predatory lending oversight to the auto industry, omitted altogether by the actions of lobbyists bearing campaign cash.

And now they want to control all energy production and usage: bringing higher taxes, reduced use and mandatory conservation …

To protect what we've won and keep the change coming -- from clean-energy legislation to immigration reform to putting more Americans back to work -- we're not done.”

Bottom line …

Barack Obama was a fluke of nature: a once-in-a-blue-moon opportunity created by the overwhelming drumbeat of the media against George Bush and a confluence of socialist, Marxist, anarchists, blacks and victims who voted for Obama. The mainstream media failed to vet the candidate and his associates. Obama’s incompetence and laziness allowed a socialist-driven Congress to do the rest.

But I do agree with Plouffe on one thing:

Which is why we need to keep fighting to get folks to the polls this fall. We know -- from our own experience and research -- that nothing has more of an effect on voter behavior than real conversations.”

We need to elect “honest brokers” to serve “we the people.” The consequences of turning our government and our lives over to those who do not wish America well and want to turn us into a third-world European socialist nation must be defeated at all costs.

Our lives and those of our children demand we take action at the polls in the upcoming election. With Obamacare, your health and your life do hang in the balance.

[X] NO JERRY BROWN: AGING HIPPIE SOCIALIST!

Barack Obama, the Marxist, wants you to support the aging hippie socialist, Jerry Brown. Fellow travelers seeking to damage the American way of life based on their utopian communists dreams.

First we hear from Obama, in his own words …

OneCitizen --

For decades, Jerry Brown has been a champion for the people of California. He has served as governor, as mayor of Oakland, and is currently the attorney general.

While governor, he helped to create almost 2 million new jobs, cut taxes, and built a budget surplus. As mayor, Jerry revitalized Oakland's economy and reduced crime. And as attorney general, he is fighting for consumers and cracking down on violent gangs.

To each of these jobs, he's brought an unparalleled passion for helping the people of California.

Now, he wants to return to Sacramento to bring that passion to the governor's office, and he needs our help to ensure that he wins this race.

Please sign up to support his campaign.

These next few years offer a complex series of challenges -- for California and our nation -- and there is much we must accomplish together. Meeting these challenges will be possible only if we have bold leaders like Jerry Brown working alongside us.

But winning this election will not be easy. His billionaire opponent, Meg Whitman, has already spent more than $100 million on this race -- shattering every spending record in California. In the coming weeks, she will blanket the airwaves and attempt to drown out every other voice in this election.

That is why Jerry Brown needs your support -- knocking on doors, making calls to your neighbors, and working to get the word out about his campaign for California.

Can we count on you? Get started here:
<link removed>

Thank you,

President Barack Obama

You can plainly see the damage that Barack Obama has brought to America with his radical socialist agenda. Why anyone, other than his fellow socialists, communists, Marxists and anarchist should continue to listen to his anti-American nonsense is beyond me.

Jerry Brown is unfit to lead …

He is the socialist who decided that Californians need to be forced from their freeways and into state-controlled mass transit. To this end, he crippled California’s ability to build freeways and imposed diamond lanes on us all. Lying about traffic improvement, Brown ignored the fact that people entering and exiting the diamond lanes had to traverse all lanes of traffic – thus slowing down the overall traffic flow.

Jerry Brown is the man who introduced public employee unions into our state government – insuring that state workers became a privileged class of workers with benefits beyond belief. The proximate cause of the budgetary meltdown that threatens to engulf us all.

Not to be outdone, Jerry Brown supports his fellow travelers who have taken refuge in the environmental community and who are threatening to wreck California’s job market with their nonsensical “global warming” legislation as if California alone can impact the global climate.

But it’s even worse than you might imagine …

Beginning in 1995, Brown hosted a daily call-in talk show on the local Pacifica Radio station, KPFA-FM, in Berkeley. Both the radio program and Brown's political action organization, based in Oakland, were called We the People. <Source>

Condemned by his own works, Jerry Brown clearly demonstrates how out of touch he is with the American ideal of individualism and achievement – and how he sees America as a government-run socialist state.

Pretty amazing stuff! Here is Jerry Brown, the real Jerry Brown – the militant activist/communist/socialist/Marxist …

Welfare's got a dirty name. All those dangerous people who are sucking the life out of our economy! It's a lie, folks, it's a damnable lie and the people who perpetrate it ought to be in jail.

We're being ripped off and screwed by a bunch of liars, thieves, crooks, and criminals, and they're not the folks below. Don't look in the streets; look in the corporate suites! It's the ones on top, at the commanding heights of the economy, those who run the corporations, who export the jobs, buy the politicians to get the laws and tax breaks they need, keep down wages by the threat of replacements, factory layoffs, restructuring, automation, cheap foreign labor, disseminated labor unions and a minimum wage that hasn't moved in four years.

All of that combines to produce a frightened worker, a frightened group of employed Americans who can't bid up their wages, and a very confident corporate managerial class that is keeping wages down as profits rise.

What we have here is a separation by class and often by color. One class of people is treated like dirt; another class is treated like demi-gods. The class that has access to the levers of power-the police baton, the surveillance through wire tapping, search and seizure, the power of government through the legislator's ear-they are reaping the rewards! The lawlessness on the part of the police, the judiciary, is viewed as a management of the poor, of the homeless, of those who don't fit in this New World Order. That excludes tens of millions of surplus people.

If you happen to work for the telephone company or the gas company or the banks and they decide to restructure or lay off-you're gone! The same is going to be true of schooling, and perhaps if Gingrich gets his way, it'll be true about government. That's what the welfare and unemployment-insurance safety net is all about.

I know some of you say it's just the-good-for-nothings who are not availing themselves of opportunity, but jobs are not available to millions of Americans. Why?

Because economists like Milton Friedman say that if unemployment goes below 6% there will be more people working and spending money; more people spending money will send prices up; more people will have to be hired; then wages will rise. That's called "inflation." The people who invest in bonds don't like that. When the rate of unemployment falls below 6%, the Federal Reserve Board increases the interest rate to put people out of work. Six percent of 120 million Americans-by the time you count the discouraged who are not counted in the official number-are 10 million Americans kept out of work.

That is the policy of the land in the name of productivity, corporate efficiency. It's rotten to the core. It's killing the moral fabric of America. It's the death of justice.

This reserve army of the unemployed are conscripts to fight inflation, to make capitalism work. That's what Alan Greenspan says; that's what the economists tell us. Then why aren't they compensated instead of vilified, stigmatized, and held up as the enemy of the nation? Without them capitalism would collapse, inflation would run out of control, and you'd have to have a regulatory economy more akin to a socialism.

Anybody who says, "Go get a job," should understand if you get that job, somewhere another person will lose a job; or the Federal Reserve Board will jack up the interest rates. That is the dirty little secret of modern capitalism: creating unemployment through the central bank and maintaining it at extremely high, unconscionable levels.

This is nothing less than class warfare: the unjust distribution of income, the abandonment of cities, and the trashing of almost one fourth of the American children. Little by little, democracy is reduced, diminished, minimized, while the autocracy of the profit-making, giant transnational company is given more and more authority over us in a private system of power that's unaccountable, uncaring, and inhuman.

Because millions of people are unneeded by the profit system, they can't get income to survive legally. That's a big source of the crime. Look at the whole criminal correction game, which is a big piece of our economy. It's just an invention. Crime is being invented to put people to work. First you push people to the wall. They commit a crime, you lock them up. Then you get a guard; you get a manager of the guards; you get a lobbyist for the guards to hustle more criminal laws in the state capitol; then you get somebody who builds the prison; he gets somebody who does the food service, somebody that does the laundry, some psychiatrists, then a doctor, a psychologist, even a prison chaplain-a racket that won't quit!

The conventional viewpoint says we need a jobs program and we need to cut welfare. Just the opposite! We need more welfare and fewer jobs. Jobs for every American is doomed to failure because of modern automation and production. We ought to recognize it and create an income-maintenance system so every single American has the dignity and the wherewithal for shelter, basic food, and medical care. I'm talking about welfare for all. Without it, you're going to have warfare for all.

Without a universal health care like every other civilized country, without a minimum level of income, this country will explode. You can't blame the guy at the bottom forever. At some point there's a reaction and we'll see that the real criminals are those calling the tune, making the rules, and walking to the bank.

We have to restore power to the family, to the neighborhood, and the community with a non-market principle, a principle of equality, of charity, of let's-take-care-of-one-another.

That's the creative challenge. First, expose relentlessly the big lie that comes over the tube every night-that if you just go out and find that job, and work harder, it'll all be fine. It won't! There's not enough work to go around and a lot of the pay is not fair. Unless you totally yank up that system and create a better one, unless the spirit changes, unless the heart opens, unless we confront power with the truth of our own unarmed but absolute fearless truth, we're not going to overcome it. Evil is too embedded to be overcome by anything other than a spiritual challenge.

Support us in that endeavor. Please call "We The People," in Oakland, 1-800-426-1112 or write us at 200 Harrison St., Oakland, CA 94607. We'll send you some material and ask you to join our efforts. Together we can build a new movement of real democratic activism.

There you have it --  before there was a Barack Obama, there was a Jerry Brown …

Same old anti-capitalist, pro-union, Marxist rhetoric – evil corporations, need more welfare, we need to combat class and race warfare, and above all – listen to us because we are so damn smart that we know what is best for all of the people.

Folks, they ginned up the class and race warfare. The create victims and then propose entitlements as solutions. They are un-American, demanding that the individual bow to the state, favoring the collective over the individual. It is only the United States Constitution that keeps these Communists from destroying America.

Bottom line …

Jerry Brown is a clear and present danger to California and the nation as a whole. He is as much a committed socialist/communist as is Barack Obama.

His support of the unions, his anti-growth – big government positions when he was Governor of California and the Mayor of Oakland damn near destroyed our State. Why any rational human being or anyone professing to be an American would vote for this aging hippie is beyond me.

I urge you to beat back the tide of Communism, socialism and Marxism – vote for Meg Whitman. Jerry Brown should be put on trial for damaging California, not re-elected as the governor who might very well cede California to Mexico.

EDUCATION: WHY YOUR MUNICIPAL AND STATE BUDGETS ARE BROKEN?

Another stunning achievement by the Los Angeles Unified School District … and it ONLY cost $578 MILLION!

Capture8-23-2010-11.26.56 AM

Shown here is the Robert F. Kennedy Community School on the site of the former Ambassador Hotel where Kennedy was assassinated. The school will contain grades K-12 and serve 4,200 students which seems like a traffic jam in the making in this Mid-Wilshire location. All managed by the same people who have dumbed-down the graduation tests to move the graduation ratio to a mere 50%.

And this is not the only expensive school in the District. Consider the recently completed (and butt ugly) Visual and Performing Arts Center which cost the taxpayers more that $250 million and which was created at the behest of billionaire and modern art aficionado, Eli Broad, who is said to hold great influence over the School Board. Or the $400 million Royball Complex which was built on a toxic waste site and earthquake fault and had to be demolished and rebuilt elsewhere. Where the true costs are said to have approached $1 BILLION.

You would think that there is no fiscal or educational crisis in Los Angeles …

Remember this is only one school District among many in California. Nearby school districts include those for Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Culver City, Pasadena; and the list goes on. This unholy alliance between teacher’s unions and local politicians has resulted in major economic dislocations in all municipalities and in the state itself.

And it is all about the money and political power – children are merely pawns in the game.

The District’s Budget: $7.3 BILLION DOLLARS …

According to the District, the Los Angeles Unified School District’s total operating budget is $7.3 BILLION dollars.

Looking in the footnotes, you will find that the “LAUSD’s overall budget rises to more $13 billion when you include capital programs.”

Another footnote reveals that of the $2.9 BILLION in 2009-2010 certificated salaries (78% which are teacher’s salaries) employee benefits are not included in the $2.9 BILLION dollars.

Nobody is producing the real numbers regarding the unfunded portion of the retirement funds which will eventually be paid from taxpayer funds.

And we know that the District very rarely lives within their budget as they are telling us that there is an additional  deficit of $640 MILLION.

And that’s assuming that the budgetary numbers track the District’s real costs and expenditures. Or as the lawyers are wont to say: that assumes facts not in evidence.

Another Viewpoint …

LAUSD’s Scam in a Nutshell:

Operating Budget = $12 Billion
Construction Budget = $22 Billion
Employees = 80,000
Students Served = 650,000
Cost per student = $18,400
Many LAUSD classrooms currently warehouse over 40 students. If LAUSD’s classrooms were limited to 30 children, we would require no more than 21,666 teachers (650,000 ÷ 30 students).

WHERE'S THE WASTE?

80,000 employees
– 21,666 teachers
= 58,334 non-teaching employees

Compare that to LA City’s wasteful budget:
Budget = $7 Billion
Employees = 40,000
Residents Served = 4,000,000

LAUSD employs not to teach students, but to fund the Democrat Party.

80,000 (LAUSD employees)
x $100/mo (Union Dues)
= $8,000,000/mo

If LA residents demand their part of LAUSD’s operating budget, they would control an $18,400 voucher each year. <Source>

Proving why the public employee unions fear school voucher programs which might link academic excellence to parent-directed funding.

The myth of the budget …

Budgets are only guidelines, estimates of future costs that will prevent the school district from running out of money or the unpleasant surprises for emergency maintenance at the end of the school year. But as guidelines, they are susceptible to gross manipulation by those who want to hide the truth from a gullible public who are, more often than not, “it’s for the children.”

Consider that the District plays with teacher positions which has been “allocated” or “authorized,” but which are not funded or filled with live bodies. How dramatic it is to announce the cuts in positions which are phantom positions at best.

Consider that budgets are rarely zero-based and are created simply by adding an unrealistic percentage to the old budget to allow room for “record cuts;” with the real dollar expenditures still exceeding the expenditures of the previous budget period.

Remember that there is often a mad scramble at the end of budgetary periods to spend any available funds lest it look like the District can do with less money.

And let us not forget the size of the school policing program which should be administered by the local police or sheriff to save on duplicate administrative costs and salaries.

The myth of classroom size …

If you were to believe teachers, the ability to educate and motivate children is directly related to the number of children in a classroom. While individual attention to specific children might be helpful, much of the ado about class size is really about discipline and maintaining control of the classroom. If it were truly about the quality of education and the amount of money to educate a child – and not union demands – the District could assign a non-credentialed, lower-paid worker in each classroom to free the teacher to teach the lesson and then go on to another classroom. Why would we want highly-skilled or credentialed teachers bothered with maintaining discipline, grading papers or doing other chores which do not require any skill. Of course, the mere thought of the proper utilization of skills within an educational environment is often enough to induce a political tsunami of protest to politicians who rely on campaign funds and voter support from the teacher’s unions.

Bottom Line …

Among the School Board, Administration, unions, politicians and the special interests who serve as consultants, vendors and contractors to the Los Angeles Unified School District, it is not about the children as they loudly proclaim – but the self-interests of the adults involved.

Good teachers to not require multiple $100 textbooks, gold-plated pencils and expensive audio-visual equipment to perform their tasks. They need an ability to teach and subject-matter knowledge, something which the unions are militantly reluctant to test. However, good teachers need classroom discipline, students who believe in the value of education and parental involvement that not only values education, but insures that their children come to school motivated and ready to learn.

We need to elect “honest brokers” to serve “we the people.” People who will do what is right for the taxpayer and the student. People who understand that the continuous flow of dollars is not producing the desired educational result, but corruption and chaos in the school systems.

Vote all of the school board members out. Select businessmen and others who understand the goal is to educate children; not to reward the unions, the special interests or move upward in the political strata.

It’s your money and your children, so why are we listening to politicians and so-called experts who have proven that they no not of what they speak.

Character, not politics: people want to know if I respect any liberal democrats ...

One of my friends recently challenged me to find a single liberal democrat who I respected and trusted. It really wasn’t all that difficult because there are so few in this country. And none of them are office-seeking or office-holding politicians.

The first name that comes to mind is Kenneth Feinberg, whose liberal democrat credentials are beyond reproach. A person who might foster a  visceral negative response upon hearing that he is both a lawyer and who served as the Chief of Staff for the late Senator Ted Kennedy; a man I despised as a drunk, a lecher and a killer of a young innocent woman to save his political career. In short, Feinberg is a liberal democrat’s dream.

Unlike most democrats, he is not an ideologue and has a demonstrated history of plain talk, honesty and fair dealing. An exceptional man functioning among political shysters and corrupt politicians.

Consider a few of his past accomplishments involving the oversight, adjudication and distribution of claims for high-profile, big-money cases …

  • September 11 Victim Compensation Fund
  • Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund associated with the Virginia Tech massacre.
  • Special Master for Executive Compensation (Pay Czar)
  • BP Oil Spill Fund

And while individuals may have a grievance with the system, most find that Feinberg sets the rules in an open and honest manner and then forges ahead in a highly emotional area. He is not beyond personal appeal and listening to an individual’s story.

True, he has caused some degree of pain with what some describe as a ruthless and calculating method for placing a value on the loss of human life, pain and suffering. But, truth-be-told, someone has to draw the line somewhere. And to Feinberg’s credit, he not only draws the line, he explains how and why the line was drawn. An exceptional man.

With his quick learning curve and commonsense abilities, one would think that he would make the perfect politician. Unfortunately, I believe that he would be destroyed in the process. Refusing to kowtow to the special interests who want to purchase his influence with a wink-and-a-nod.

Bottom line …

Even though he is a lawyer, and an advocate for his clients, there is no doubt in my mind that Kenneth Feinberg is a man of uncommon rectitude and conviction. Even though he is described as a liberal democrat, I would not hesitate to vote for him in a heartbeat.

I believe that this is a man who should be an exemplar of the democrat party, should they ever shed their mantle of corrupt self-interest and Marxism and return to a Constitutional approach to governing in the name of all Americans. Something I do not believe will happen in my lifetime or Ken Feinberg’s lifetime.

As they say, he should live long and prosper.

Democrat lies: We need to blame it on Bush so you don't see incompetent communists and socialists ...

We are facing a clear and present danger …

Never before has our nation faced such a clear and present danger from the Communist menace. Even during the “cold war” when our enemies were clearly defined, traitors were working to subvert the United States from within. Joseph McCarthy, a foul-mouthed drunken Senator managed to get it right when he went after communists in the government. Even though he was demonized by the democrats, leftists, liberals, progressives, socialists and communists – history has proven him to be correct. There were and are enemies of the state embedded in the United States government.

But today, those very same enemies are the government: operating in the open and spewing forth propaganda to make you believe that they are acting in your best interests; that they have the answers to resolving the financial and social crisis they claim they inherited – and made infinitely worse. One need only recall Obama’s Chief of Staff who cautioned his corrupt ideologues, never to waste a crisis – use it to drive your political agenda forward.

So let’s take a look at their approach to propaganda: in their own words …

Do we continue to move forward like democrats are doing?

Of course the answer is a resounding NO!

Why would we want to continue the wild, out-of-control, spending which produces little or no results in rebuilding our economy? Designed more to reward the unions and special interests who supported the democrats, the spending is bankrupting America.

Why would we want to continue with Obamacare? Facing higher premiums and taxes for the first four years of the program – before we receive reduced services that feature denials, delays and possibly death if you do not meet the government’s criteria for medical care or generic drugs?

Why would we want to continue with cap-and-tax which insures higher energy prices to allow the government to engage in “wealth redistribution” to third-world nations, many of them hostile to the interests and people of America?

Why would we continue to treat terrorists with respect and give them the legal rights of American citizens – when all they respect is force and the will to use it?

Investing in education for every child …

Truth be told, education is a local matter and there is nothing in the Constitution which provides the legal or moral authority for the federal government to control education – which they do with bribing school districts into following their dictates with taxpayer’s money. Most of the money is used for administration, school building programs and the unionized educational system which creates guarantees of lifelong employment, superb medical benefits and retirement packages which are not available to private sector workers. For what? Declining test scores and programs which do not educate children as much as indoctrinate them in the ways of socialist political activism? Most municipalities and states would not be facing a financial crisis if educational spending was commensurate with educational performance. Something they do not want you to hear as they refuse to test teachers for their teaching ability and subject-matter competency; making it almost impossible to fire grossly incompetent teachers. Even sexual predators in the school systems often get a pass.

Manufacturing right here at home …

Government rules and regulations, promoted by those who do not understand or even like our capitalist system, are crippling our industrial capacity and ability to compete in the world. Look at the decimated automobile industry where unions wreaked havoc: rewarding seniority over merit; mediocrity over achievement and adding tens of thousands of dollars in union pension-related costs to every car. Even when the government took over the largest automaker, they gave a significant portion to the unions to manage. Resulting in factories closing rather than asking union workers to accept a lesser, but livable, wage. Government policies are driving manufacturing offshore – with the unions leading the way.

Clean energy powering a new economy …

They tout solar power and wind power as the answer to a growing America. Which is a bald-faced lie! Wind power and solar power are mostly unreliable, extremely costly – especially with their government subsidies – and cannot power American industry. Perhaps as a holdover from their “cold war” days, the democrats hate the idea of low-cost, clean, sustainable and efficient nuclear power. Something which would provide energy independence for our nation and remove petrodollars from the hands of those nations whose radical religious fanatics want us DEAD. These propagandists tout the dangers of nuclear energy the same way they caused millions of deaths per year by banning DDT. All based on propaganda and junk science. There is no “new” economy. We will continue to produce the same goods and services demanded by a consumer-oriented world. And the democrat’s vision of clean energy would drive up the prices to insure that we would be unable to compete on a world stage.

The democrats asking “Do we put Main Street ahead of Wall Street?”

One needs only to see that the present financial czars and others are the very same Wall Street-connected people who exacerbated the financial crisis in the first place. The government seems to be run by Goldman Sachs’ alumni and lobbyists – even though Barack Obama himself told you that there would be no lobbyists in the government. The Obama has put the unions before Wall Street and Wall Street before Main Street. Don’t believe it? Look for yourself:

Are the unionized public employees suffering anywhere near as much as the private sector – even though Barack Obama continues to tout “shared sacrifice?”

Are the financial institutions being re-capitalized by sweetheart deals which earns them billions in profits and tens of millions in executive bonuses – all the while ordinary citizens get little or no interest on their savings and investments?

Has the current Administration and Congress continued to ramp up rules and regulations with their 2000-page bills which nobody reads nor understands?

Do we hold big business accountable when they have gone too far?

Of course not. Obama’s regulatory agencies and Department of Justice accepts record fines with the big companies never admitting or denying the allegations. Companies are punished, but not those responsible for the company’s actions. Consider the UBS (United Bank of Switzerland) who assisted tax evaders – the bank was fined, but only the whistleblower prosecuted. Only crooks which have few political connections and little or no money to purchase high-powered defense lawyers get sentenced.

Or do we go back to the same Republican policies that got us into this mess?

Whatever mess was inherited by the Obama Administration was made infinitely worse by their adherence to a toxic political ideology. They outspent the Bush Administration a thousand-fold with nothing to show for it. In many cases, they carried on Bush policies – changing the program names and placing them under the czars which often have more power than the Senate-confirmed cabinet members.

The financial crisis had its roots mainly in the Carter and Clinton eras – not to mention that the democrats were in charge of Congress for a portion of the Bush Administration. It was a democrat-led Congress which was mostly responsible for today’s woes, not President Bush.

Bottom line …

This fall, our choice is clear: VOTE THE SOCIALISTS, COMMUNISTS, LIBERALS, PROGRESSIVES AND DEMOCRATS OUT OF OFFICE BEFORE THEY TURN THIS NATION INTO AN UNEXCEPTIONAL COUNTRY LIKE FRANCE.

They are right about one thing: THIS FALL OUR CHOICE IS CLEAR …

We need to remove every democrat or whatever they are calling themselves these days from elective office.

No more playing the race card to excuse criminal activities and political corruption.

No more using nationality to put forth an agenda which dilutes our vote with illegal aliens given amnesty.

No more spending to support the public employee unions to generate campaign funds and voter support.

No more movement towards European-style socialism where power is vested not in the people, but in the political ruling elite, the oligarchs chosen to control industry and the economy, the unions and the politician’s special interests.

No more losing personal freedoms on that basis of phony, unproven science put forth by environmentalists who have been infiltrated by the socialists and communists. With their demands for population control through abortion, man-made food shortages and the perversion of world economies. With their demands to control energy creation and use.

Ignore the propaganda and VOTE AS IF YOUR LIFE AND COUNTRY WERE AT STAKE – BECAUSE THEY ARE!

Socialists hiding in the 111th Congress and who represent a clear and present danger to America?

Continuing with yesterday’s blog entry … “The reason they call themselves democrats, liberals or progressives is because they are afraid to tell the real truth: they are socialists and communists …

If there ever was a reason for the American public to rise up and throw the democrats out of office, one need only consider that there is a clear and present danger of our nation turning into a European-style socialist country: run by a ruling elite comprised of politicians, oligarchs and union leaders. The public be damned!

In their own words …

Capture81920104.02.58PM7

The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) is the largest socialist organization in the United States, and the principal U.S. affiliate of the Socialist International. DSA's members are building progressive movements for social change while establishing an openly socialist presence in American communities and politics.

We are socialists because we reject an international economic order sustained by private profit, alienated labor, race and gender discrimination, environmental destruction, and brutality and violence in defense of the status quo.

We are socialists because we share a vision of a humane international social order based both on democratic planning and market mechanisms to achieve equitable distribution of resources, meaningful work, a healthy environment, sustainable growth, gender and racial equality, and non-oppressive relationships.

<Source>

For those that do not recognize the code words, this is socialism and communism; where an “enlightened” ruling elite dictates public policies for the indistinct and unexceptional members of a collective society – a society in which individual excellence and achievement in secondary to supporting the state.

Scary stuff if you are an American and have participated in the most exceptional nation on the planet. A nation of achievement and achievers who have sacrificed blood, sweat and tears to build a remarkable society unlike that to be found anywhere else on Earth.

Who are these socialists?

Again, ask yourself …

How many of the above have negatively influenced our laws and public policies?

How many of these people have access to our state’s most treasured secrets?

How may of these have been involved with creating chaos, confusion and a relaxation of underwriting standards in financial and housing affairs?

Are these “honest brokers” serving “we the people” or are they activists fighting to pursue a toxic and alien political philosophy that is decidedly anti-American?

Are these people willing to exploit class, race and ethnicity to achieve their evil ends of turning America into a socialist society?

Don’t believe me?

Investor’s Business Daily is reporting …

President Obama hit a new low in using a recess appointment to name Maria del Carmen Aponte as U.S. envoy to El Salvador. The radical has consorted with Cuban spies but will be taking no questions.

Dismissing three congressional holds on Aponte's ambassadorial confirmation as "playing politics," Obama used his vacation to slip Aponte through to represent the U.S. to the strategic Central American country, without a vote in Congress.

That gives Aponte, a campaign contributor aligned to the immigration lobby, access to top-secret information as a political reward.

But Aponte's past is one big red flag. From 1982 to 1994 Aponte lived with a man who worked closely with the Cuban Mission to the U.N. and allegedly was a spy.

Aponte claims her ties to the Cubans were just "social," but Cuban spies working in the surveillance hotbed of New York don't waste time on things "social."

The FBI spotted this problem in Aponte's resume in 1994 when she made conflicting statements to the agency and refused to take a polygraph. As a result, she withdrew her nomination as ambassador to the Dominican Republic during the Clinton administration.

As an administrator of Puerto Rico's government in 2004, Aponte launched a registration of 300,000 new voters to, as she said, influence the 2004 U.S. election, which Puerto Ricans didn't vote in.

With El Salvador the second-biggest U.S. supplier of illegal immigrants to the U.S., she may be there to help facilitate Obama's amnesty plans and create a Democratic voting bloc there as well.

I would not be surprised that Obama and his fellow travelers in Congress plan to assist the murderous Marxists in Cuba with hard currency from foreign tourism.

Where was Hillary Clinton on this dangerous appointment? Oh, I forgot, Hillary Clinton is a Marxist too. With a thesis on radical communist Saul Alinsky to prove it.

Bottom line …

If we cannot trust our elected officials to act on behalf of all Americans, why are they still in office? And why are not more people concerned with the clear and present danger they represent?

If this is not enough to make you willing to throw all of these democrats out of office in the upcoming election cycle, you are complicit in moving America towards Marxism and the death of our beloved nation.
