Another Congressional Orwellian maneuver is to change the name of a discredited piece of legislation in order to fool some of the American people some of the time. Or in the case of the Congressional democrats, just enough of the people to tip the balance of support to overcome the timidity of the Congress to pass a bill which is basically un-American.

The legislation which will allegedly cure all of our economic and social problems … plus save the planet!

Once again we are promised the moon, by those who are really selling economic, social and climate justice – the same old Marxists who want to weaken the United States, destroy its economy and advance their Marxist agenda to replace our present form of government with a “ruling elite.”

This is nothing more than the old democrat/Marxist/Progressive agenda of wealth redistribution -- or in Barack Obama’s words: “Redistributive Change” dressed up again to overcome the significant resistence which has hampered these legislative efforts in the past.

Some important considerations …

Government, per se, does not solve problems, it creates them. Adding time, effort and exorbitant costs in the process. You would be hard-pressed to find a successful large-scale government project that has not gone wildly over-budget, taken far longer than necessary and is not riddled with political and special interest corruption, waste and mismanagement.  Our government has put a man on the Moon. Our government consistently sends astronauts, supplies and newly-constructed modules to the International Space Station. And yet the government cannot build a workable fence to protect us from the ravages of illegal aliens crossing the border from Mexico. 

The reason is simple: partisan politics and the special interests are crafting the legislation to suck billions of dollars out of our treasury. And now, with a far-left progressive majority in the Congress, they are attempting to implement European-style Marxism in America. An attempt which would be greatly facilitated if America was bankrupt and in chaos – which is precisely their goal.

The big lie …

The thought that man is responsible for global climate change and that man can mitigate the effects of the Sun, the Earth’s planetary motion,  volcanic activity, deep ocean currents and the largest and most potent of greenhouse gasses (water vapor) on the weather is absolutely ludicrous. The science, driven by nothing more than staged computer models using highly manipulated data  is deeply flawed and manipulated to alter public policy. You could roll back all of the commercial activity since prior to the industrial age and it still would not solve the problem. 

The bigger lie …

That the government can develop a rational program of research and public policy to change the global climate is even a bigger lie than global warming itself.

Bottom line …

This is about Marxist politics and a historically corrupt Congress that is about to fundamentally change the character of America as we know it.

Appropriate because this craziness was started as an international effort by the United Nations to enlarge their control over their member nations, provide a never-ending source of independent funding not controlled by a single nation and to allow them to achieve near domination of the media to push their agenda of Marxism.

We need to throw these corrupt and complacent politicians on both sides of the aisle out of office and to elect a House and Senate to restore our Constitutional checks and balances as long as the Socialist-in-Chief inhabits the White House with his fellow travelers, the Socialists, Marxists, Communists and Anarchists who has appointed to high positions.

We need to turn our backs on turncoats like John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Joseph Lieberman, John Kerry, Barbara Boxer, Henry Waxman and their ilk who are supporting legislation which will destroy the United States.

Starting in November, 2010 – make sure your vote counts. We are at the tipping point, when the far-left has infiltrated the corrupt democrats and the complacent republicans and now represents a clear and present danger to our nation.

Act now as if you life depends on it – because this time it surely does.
