With all the revelations about the unsettled state of climate science, the fraud and manipulation of the models and their data and the apparent subversion of the peer-review process, one wonders why Senator Lindsey Graham would join with leftist democrats John Kerry and Joe Lieberman to paint the Republican name on a bill that will cripple the United States economy and serve as the vehicle for the government’s control over energy producers and consumers?

Why any Republican would support the toxic agenda of Barack Obama and still be considered as a party member is beyond me …

“The proposed legislation, encouraged by President Barack Obama, dilutes a climate bill that stalled last year in the Senate. The senators have hosted meetings with industry groups over the past two weeks, revealing details about their plan that would cap carbon emissions while expanding offshore oil drilling and nuclear power generation.”

This legislative effort may not dilute the Russian-style command and control apparatus of centralized government control. And you can bet the hooks for follow-on legislation will allow the easy passage of the rest of the Obama agenda in the guise of amendments tacked on to unrelated bills or as technical corrections.

Lindsey Graham: Judas goat leading the Republicans further down the road away from victory?

“He hopes his sector-by-sector approach to regulation, unlike Waxman-Markey’s economy-wide cap, will help him save face among conservatives. Once a turncoat collaborator, always a turncoat collaborator … just ask Lindsey Graham’s best friend, John McCain, the author of the McCain-Lieberman bill to combat global warming.

Bottom line …

We are going to see another thousand page+ bill written in hyper-technical language which nobody will read nor understand – all to be rammed up the arse of an unwilling American public by a democrat-led congress that doesn’t give a damn about freedom, our economy, energy independence or our sovereignty.

We need to nullify aisle-hopping RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) like John McCain and Lindsey Graham before they lead our nation into European-style socialism – run by the government central planners and the unions.
