Obamacare: When the democrats encourage support, it's grassroots support, when it's the opposition -- it's demonized as "astro-turfing"

The democrats are calling the opposition’s organizing attempts “astro-turfing” as an indicator of fake “grass roots” support of their issue. They are telling the media that these citizen grass roots attempts are being sponsored by hidden right wing billionaires, the evil drug companies, the evil insurance companies and other assorted evildoers left over from the Bush presidency.
Nothing could be farther from the truth. It is hard enough to get Americans enthusiastic about voting, it is the sense of the politicians that Americans have short memories and will not remember their last outrageous attempt to subvert the country, pick the taxpayer’s pockets or curtail individual freedoms.
Like I said, nothing can be further from the truth – because the type of outrage and support being shown cannot be easily faked. Citizens are outraged enough to demonstrate. Something which the democrats do not want or need as they try to cram their American-bashing bills down our throats.

You probably noticed that Obama’s Attorney General, Eric Holder, dropped the prosecution of militant blacks as they attempted to intimidate voters by their paramilitary dress and threatening demeanor. One could considered them armed as they sported clubs. Why didn’t the democrats scream about the disenfranchisement of voters – because these miscreants were there to assist democrat voters and intimidate likely non-democrat voters. How did they know which was which – that’s the racist thing about the incident – they were apparently thought to be glaring at the white voters since it was assumed that black voters were Obama supporters.

Manipulation of the mindless and uncaring – you bet. How many of these so-called Obamacans are doing this because they have actually read the proposed legislation and understand the issues? How many simply regard these groups as giant social clubs where they can make a difference.
This is the ugly face of manipulative socialist community organizing …
This is the same tactic used by union organizers and community organizers when they sell their stories of victimhood and oppression to the mainstream media or want to demonize their opposition.
Well, screw them … we know the truth and we know that the great majority of American citizens want nothing to do with politics and politicians – they are content to live their lives in the best manner possible and avoid becoming involved in so-called grass roots support groups organized by manipulative democrats and others.
But when they feel they are getting screwed by the politicians who are no longer representing “we the people,” they march and do protest. And for the asshat democrats who tell you that their attempts at organized protest are good and that your attempts are un-American and thuggish – just remember they live in an “opposite” world: where black is white, up is down and evil is good. Their Orwellian use of words to redefine commonly understood words like “protest” can be used to demonstrate their evil intentions.

We do not need to destroy our current healthcare system in favor of an unknown and untested system with unknown provisions, unknown responsibilities and unknown costs.
Want to make them back down? See if they are willing to find a single state to test their “revolutionary” program before destroying the healthcare industry. See if they are willing to make it mandatory that all elected and appointed officials and unionized government workers must use the system and give up their pension funds for the type of 401(k) system that is found in the private sector.
It is time that we curtain a growing cancer consisting of a pampered political class that has lost touch with reality and the wants and needs of “we the people.”
