There is no need to legalize "illegal" aliens ...
As the paper of record for the far-left liberal democrat activists, the New York Times is reporting the Obama Administration’s attempt to cram a comprehensive immigration “amnesty" bill down the throats of tax-paying, law-abiding citizens who have seen much of their local healthcare, educational, judicial, retirement, social and cultural infrastructure destroyed by a hoard of illegal immigrants who steadfastly refuse to assimilate into American culture.
According to the New York Times …
“Obama to Push Immigration Bill Despite the Risks”
“While acknowledging that the recession makes the political battle more difficult, President Obama plans to begin addressing the country’s immigration system this year, including looking for a path for illegal immigrants to become legal, a senior administration official said on Wednesday.”
Why?
Without controlling the borders, even the announcement of such a plan will encourage further illegal immigration. To allow the United States to continue to ignore the importation of ill-educated, impoverished and unskilled labor which, in all likelihood, will become an entitlement culture, is not only imprudent, it is treasonous. Ratifying the invasion of our sovereign state by a large number of foreign nationals who will forever re-define American culture and whose loyalty and allegiance will remain with a foreign power.
There is no reason to step beyond the bounds of a rational immigration policy which supports guest workers and makes provisions for those who immigrate fairly and honestly through the system.
Merely suggesting that there will be conditions applied and a fine paid by the applicants does not mean that this is not a form of amnesty. My plan is simple: give all illegal aliens 90 days to register, after which the unregistered illegal aliens and their families are subject to instant deportation. No legal rights of appeal. No due process. Those who register can be given five-year work permits, renewable if taxes are paid and no crimes committed. The legal basis for the creation of anchor babies should be nullified and all children born of foreign parents assume the nationality of the parents. Dual citizenship held by any American citizen should be denied. One passport per person – one allegiance to one’s nation.
Orderly system?
“Mr. Obama will frame the new effort — likely to rouse passions on all sides of the highly divisive issue — as ‘policy reform that controls immigration and makes it an orderly system,’ said the official, Cecilia Muñoz, deputy assistant to the president and director of intergovernmental affairs in the White House.”
The immigration folks, no matter what you call them, have simply been unable to build a system which tracks foreign nationals entering and leaving our country. And remains quite reluctant to track and deport those who have gone missing from the system.
The special interests …
Haven’t we seen a total breakdown in our financial system with severe economic ramifications caused by the relationship between politicians and the special interests that donate campaign funding. One one side you have the illegal alien lobby, the Catholic Church and the democrat party. On the other side, you have the employers seeking a source of cheap labor. Both positions are corrupt, self-serving and an insult to human rights.
One need only look at France, a socialist worker’s paradise that has been almost overrun by aliens, both legal and illegal, to the point that French society is on the verge of demographic collapse within decades. I do not want to see the United States become the United States/Mexico/Canada, Inc.
Political payback or something more sinister …
“He said then that comprehensive immigration legislation, including a plan to make legal status possible for an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants, would be a priority in his first year in office. Latino voters turned out strongly for Mr. Obama in the election.”
What does the United States get in return for allowing a large number of foreign nationals to dilute the efforts of citizens and legal immigrants? The right to pay increased entitlements? The right to have our infrastructure destroyed? The right to create further barrios?
A question that should resonate with President Obama is: where does that leave our already impoverished inner cities and the poor black population that sees job opportunities evaporate in the face of cheap labor?
Or, I forgot, we are going to become a socialist society where one need not worry about healthcare because the government is going to provide it at little or no cost. And there will be full employment due to the proliferation of jobs creating clean green energy. Of course, nobody will have to worry about taxes, because the government will confiscate everything – at least from the poor and the dwindling middle class. The wealthy and politically connected will retain their wealth, power, prestige and continue to buy political influence on the cheap.
“Just last month, Mr. Obama openly recognized that immigration is a potential minefield. ‘I know this is an emotional issue; I know it’s a controversial issue,’ he told an audience at a town meeting on March 18 in Costa Mesa, Calif. ‘I know that the people get real riled up politically about this.’"
Really?
I can’t see why ceding your sovereignty to a foreign invading army wouldn’t get people riled up. I can’t see where an expanded government, higher taxes, reduced services and the loss of some personal freedoms wouldn’t get people riled up.
“But, he said, immigrants who are long-time residents but lack legal status ‘have to have some mechanism over time to get out of the shadows.’”
Truth be told, you do not need to become a citizen to come out of the shadows and enjoy some degree of freedom. You register and receive a series of five-year extensions on your work permit – denied only if you commit a criminal act. If you have been here more than fifteen years and have roots in the country, you can agree to waive your foreign rights, serve your time and then be deported to your community.
President Bush was an “open borders” guy …
While there was much that was responsible and admirable in the Bush Administration, he was hardly a conservative Republican in the Reagan mold – more like a tax and spend liberal in the Rockefeller mode. So citing former President Bush as a form of bi-partisanship is erroneous and bogus.
“The White House is calculating that public support for fixing the immigration system, which is widely acknowledged to be broken, will outweigh opposition from voters who argue that immigrants take jobs from Americans. A groundswell among voters opposed to legal status for illegal immigrants led to the defeat in 2007 of a bipartisan immigration bill that was strongly supported by President George W. Bush.”
Half-truths …
“Administration officials said that Mr. Obama’s plan would not add new workers to the American work force, but that it would recognize millions of illegal immigrants who have already been working here. Despite the deep recession, there is no evidence of any wholesale exodus of illegal immigrant workers, independent studies of census data show.”
What is not being discussed here is the relative cost of illegal aliens on our economy, which was pegged in a highly-scrutinized study to be a net loss of $22,000 per individual. With more people out of the so-called shadows, more people will be encouraged to apply for government benefits – and states like California will simply bankrupt themselves into oblivion. Especially as this voting mass ignores both traditional democrats and republicans and votes Mexican socialists and activists into power.
I think that I heard this before – and it is the same old bullshit put forth by the same corrupt and complacent politicians pandering for campaign funds and voters …
“In broad outlines, officials said, the Obama administration favors legislation that would bring illegal immigrants into the legal system by recognizing that they violated the law, and imposing fines and other penalties to fit the offense. The legislation would seek to prevent future illegal immigration by strengthening border enforcement and cracking down on employers who hire illegal immigrants, while creating a national system for verifying the legal immigration status of new workers.”
“But administration officials emphasized that many details remained to be debated.”
What debate? The above-mention criminality and safeguards should have been addressed long ago. There is no need for debate. We know what is prudent to protect a sovereign nation and we also know what political subversives are trying to do to change the American system from capitalism to a semi-dictatorship of socialistic interests.
“Anticipating opposition, Mr. Obama has sought to shift some of the political burden to advocates for immigrants, by encouraging them to build support among voters for when his proposal goes to Congress.”
Perhaps this is why we have seen massive voter corruption by activist groups such as Acorn and why the administration is hell-bent on managing the census effort to grab even more political power by counting illegal aliens as being equal to citizens in the enumeration process to provide representation in the House of Representatives.
“That is why Representative Luis V. Gutierrez, a Democrat from Mr. Obama’s hometown, Chicago, has been on the road most weekends since last December, traveling far outside his district to meetings in Hispanic churches, hoping to generate something like a civil rights movement in favor of broad immigration legislation.”
Gutierrez travels way beyond the bounds of his district and yet takes no comments from those outside of his district, claiming that he must respond only to his constituents. I have never seen such blatant corruption of the political process as that perpetrated by the Chicago socialists. Check out Bobby Rush who couldn’t wait to welcome that bastion of freedom, Cuba, into our sphere of influence – perhaps thinking of making socialist Cuba another State?
“Mr. Gutierrez’s meetings have all been held in churches, both evangelical and Roman Catholic, with clergy members from various denominations, including in several places Muslim imams. At one meeting in Chicago, Cardinal Francis George, president of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, officiated.”
It is one thing to respect the Church, but it entirely a different thing to respect the desires of an institution where there are no man-made borders and everybody is equal in God’s eyes. Amazingly, the government has not gone after the Church’s hierarchy who allegedly covered up the scandal of the priests and has not revoked the tax exemptions of individual churches who violate the separation of church and state when they make political pronouncements from the pulpit.
What can YOU do?
Realize that the United States is suffering from a plague of complacent and corrupt politicians who are pandering to an enlarging number of those who want to live in an entitlement society.
If we do not stand up and vote these far-left liberal democrats out of office, it will be only a matter of time until we add a fourth branch to the government: The Executive, The Legislative, The Judiciary and The Unions. Where control over American citizens is ceded to foreign powers who can rape the fruits of America at will.
It is one thing for a politician to be loved by all. It is quite another to find out that your politicians were seeking love from Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez and the Saudi King.
I honestly believe, and am open to challenge, that President Barack Obama is an empty suit – swaying in the wind, doing or saying anything that will allow him to push the far-left socialist agenda forward. I also wonder who is behind the omni-present TelePrompTer, without which, Obama becomes quite inarticulate and unable to make his point.
Recall the bastards, repeal their legislation and revolt against the further decline of America.
Do not vote for any candidate or current politician who is willing to subvert the safety, security, sovereignty and economic strength of the United States or limit an individual's right of self-defense for their personal philosophy, power, prestige or profits.
