Obama: Hypocrisy abounds ...
Is Obama going to allow the world’s demands diminish American freedom?
What should the average American citizen think when his President, Barack Obama, says …
“We can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times … and then just expect that every country is going to say OK.” -- Barack Obama (Roseburg, OR – May, 2008)
Well this average American would tell Barack Obama that this is America and we have earned the right to do as we please without regard to political correctness and world opinion. It’s called FREEDOM!
And if you think that you and your socialist cronies can tax us into submission or promulgate rules and regulations that restrict our way of life, something must give …
and that would be your political career and those of your fellow travelers.
It is one thing to cooperate with other nations on mutual security, controlling trans-border pollution and other matters of common benefit … but to punish the American people to proclaim that we are just like anyone else is, well, un-American.
And from your pronouncements, I am beginning to think that you are less America’s commander-in-chief and de-facto leader and more the point man for the United Nations’ push for a one world government.
Minor Obama hypocrisy …
And now we see Obama in the Oval Office working without his jacket (something President Reagan would never do) with the heat turned up to the point where his aides say you can grow orchids. The excuse -- “you know he was born in Hawaii” is bullshit because he comes from Chicago – which as everybody knows is not only the Windy City, but it’s freakin cold in the winter!
Major Obama hypocrisy …
According to Bloomberg News ...
"Admiral Michael Mullen , the most senior American military officer, said the U.S. will probably deploy close to 30,000 additional troops to Afghanistan to shore up deteriorating security there."
"In an interview, Mullen, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs, also said he is hopeful that other NATO nations will contribute additional military and civilian resources this year to the fight against a resurgent Taliban. The Islamist militia, which once ruled Afghanistan and sheltered al-Qaeda, is threatening large areas of the country with mounting attacks."
Obama has decided to discontinue prosecuting the war in Iraq and to re-deploy troops to continue fighting the war in Afghanistan. Not to mention the current incursions into Pakistani territory.
If Obama was so ethical and conscientious as he pretends, why would he not return to Congress for a formal declaration of war as per the Constitution of the United States. Especially considering that the anti-war people were continually harping on the fact that the Presidential war powers act was based on the President’s need to deal with exigent circumstances and could not be used for a prolonged engagement.
So where does our newly elected and allegedly ethical President stand on this issue. It is time to hold the democrat’s feet to the fire and make them walk the walk instead of just talking the talk! "
Doing the right thing …
Imagine the scene in the cowardly congress where the weak-kneed and lily-livered socialistic democrats would have to stand up and admit that they need to protect and defend America and her Constitution from its enemies, both foreign and domestic, by turning their back on their left-wing anti-nuke, anti-war activists and do the right thing?
