American traitor, Jane Fonda, worried about Republican dirty tricks? (Updated)

Obama thinks you're selfish, Biden thinks you're unpatriotic if YOU don't VOLUNTARILY agree to higher taxes!

Obama's New Attack on Those Who Don't Want Higher Taxes: ‘Selfishness’

“On the stump this week, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., has pushed back against Sen. John McCain's description of his tax policies.”

" ‘The reason that we want to do this, change our tax code, is not because I have anything against the rich,’ Obama said in Sarasota, Fla., yesterday. ‘I love rich people! I want all of you to be rich. Go for it. That’s the American dream, that’s the American way, that’s terrific.’”

" ‘The point is, though, that -- and it’s not just charity, it’s not just that I want to help the middle class and working people who are trying to get in the middle class -- it’s that when we actually make sure that everybody’s got a shot – when young people can all go to college, when everybody’s got decent health care, when everybody’s got a little more money at the end of the month – then guess what? Everybody starts spending that money, they decide maybe I can afford a new car, maybe I can afford a computer for my child. They can buy the products and services that businesses are selling and everybody is better off. All boats rise. That’s what happened in the 1990s, that’s what we need to restore. And that’s what I’m gonna do as president of the United States of America.”

"’ John McCain and Sarah Palin they call this socialistic,’ Obama continued. ‘You know I don’t know when, when they decided they wanted to make a virtue out of selfishness.’"

Who decides?

When I want to help my fellow man, I decide who to help and how much help I can afford without hurting myself or my family. I have my charitable causes – and they are probably not your charitable causes; so I take umbrage with those who want to tell me who to give my money to, and how much. More so, when they take my money and tell me they know how to best spend it without my input. And especially when I find it being spent on more welfare and social programs for the people who would rather get a handout than a hand up.

I am sorry. I do not want to deprive my children (figuratively speaking as I have none) of a college education in order to provide support to an illegal alien who just snuck across the border. Or award undocumented workers with Social Security payments when they used stolen, forged or imaginary Social Security numbers – especially when they will be taking this money to Mexico.

It is not a matter of selfishness – it’s a matter of enlightened self-interest …

Only guilt-ridden liberals want to atone for their successes or provide funds that demonstrate how wonderful and caring they are.  These are the people who support welfare and the notions of reparations. Or in the extreme, pay to assuage their guilt over the terrible wrongs we have committed on the world’s population.  To these people, one simply says: if you feel you want to pay more, write a check to IRS or the Treasury Department – they will take your money.

Or if you are a mega-rich star like Barbra Streisand or a business mogul like Warren Buffet, chances your revenue stream is protected from confiscatory taxes by high-priced counsel and you are content to tell the rest of us we need to pay higher taxes for the sake of society. Limousine/Learjet liberals to the end.

I do not plan to vote for your socialistic tax policies to further your Marxist goals of wealth redistribution. I’m voting for McCain and Palin to bring profligate Congressional spending under control instead of rewarding them with even more money.

What can YOU do?

It’s your pocket that’s being picked so that the politicians can continue to buy votes and line their pockets with special interest cash. They don’t care about the social issues involved: only votes, money and power are of interest.

Vote McCain and Palin. Do not be caught up in the class and race warfare issues that define Marxism/Socialism, Obama and his democrat cohorts.
