OBAMA QUITS TRINITY UNITED CHURCH: TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE
Expediency or conviction?
For twenty-plus years Barack Obama listened to anti-white, pro-black, activist rhetoric which bordered on a "separatist" theology. Listened to his pastor, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, extol the virtues of an anti-while, anti-Semitic Black Muslim named Louis Farrakhan.
And now, on with his political career on center stage, he simply walks away from the environment which seemingly nurtured him. From a pastor who served as his "spiritual" mentor. And from a philosophy that is openly RACIST!
The damage has been done ...
I'm sorry -- that is too little, too late. The damage has already been done.
I, for one, do not want a presidential candidate who views everything through the prism of race. Where any personal or professional criticism is labeled racism and where those who bring up important topics for discussion are labeled as being RACISTS.
At this point in time, I care little whether or not Barack Obama is an opportunist who joined the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago for political advantage. I care little that Obama is an elitist who seems out of touch with mainstream America. I care little that the mixed-parentage Obama may be trying harder to prove his Black street credibility. And I care little that Obama's wife, and potential First Lady, is also an elitist believer in black activist theology. I don't even care that Obama might be a prototypical corrupt Chicago politician.
What I do care about is that I do not know enough to determine whether or not Barack Obama is a suitable candidate to bring the United States out of its foreign entanglements, economic malaise and restore the public's confidence in their government.
Who is Barack Obama?
Nobody seems to have a handle on exactly who Barack Obama is and just what he truly stands for. Like Hillary Clinton, most of what you know is filtered through hyper-partisan surrogates purporting to speak in Obama's name. And they lie. Flat out lie.
No, we weren't talking to Canada and telling them to ignore our NAFTA rhetoric. No, we really didn't mean that we are talking to people associated with Hamas. No, we really didn't mean to imply Farrakhan is a great man. No, Obama doesn't really believe what his pastor is saying.
What has he accomplished?
I cannot find a single personal achievement that speaks well for Barack Obama. All of his political achievements were joint efforts with very little Barack Obama leadership on display.
Is he the best candidate?
Measured against the two other candidates, Hillary Clinton and John McCain, I find Barack Obama wanting.
And when measured against tried and tested United States patriots such as Colin Powell, who just happens to be Black, I find him severely unsuitable for the Office of the Presidency.
What we do know...
Barack Obama has apparently been indoctrinated in the rhetoric of the Black Activist Movement which, according to scholars, traces its roots back to the Marxist movement. Which accounts for Obama's far-left liberal voting record, which according to knowledgeable sources, is the farthest left in the entire Senate.
His church continues to support an anti-American/Racist agenda, even after all of the media controversy surrounding the relationship between Barack Obama and the church. The Reverend Wright, Barack Obama's pastor and spiritual mentor allegedly retired to a multi-million dollars guard-gated estate paid for with church funds, the replacement pastor has said similar outrageous things and a guest speaker, a rogue Catholic priest has also used the same victimhood/oppression angry rhetoric.
Conclusion: Barack Obama cannot be trusted with the Presidency.
What can YOU do?
Do your own research. Check out what Obama's church puts forth. Check out what Obama himself says that is of any substance. Listen to his wife. And then decide for yourself if you want someone who may interject the issue of race into our current political debate.
We are at a crossroads. Where every vote matters. Where the issue of national defense is of paramount importance. We can not afford to sidetrack the national debate to discuss inconsequential issues based on celebrity, stardom or one's supporters.
We need a strong, resolute President that can put America back on its track to a strong national defense posture, a sound economic footing and the curtailment of hyper-partisan politics which have corrupted many of our public institutions.
If it is time for a Black President or a Woman President, make sure it is the right person -- not just somebody who happens to be handy at the moment.
Do not vote for any candidate or current politician who is willing to subvert the safety, security, sovereignty and economic strength of the United States or limit an individual's right of self-defense for their personal philosophy, power, prestige or profits.
