I continue to be dismayed over the thought that a Barack Obama or a Hillary Clinton could assume the Presidency of the United States.

Mostly because I believe America is broken and the liberal democrats are at fault.

[   ]  Liberal democrats base their policies on "feelings," intentions and a Pollyannaish view of the world. This has given us such concepts as:

• Moral Equivalency;
• Situational Ethics;
• Political Correctness; and
• Multi-Culturalism.

There is no good and evil, right or wrong. There is ONLY perspective that leads to inanities like "One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter." Everything has to be "fair and balanced." Everyone, even the wing-nuts, should get a hearing in the court of public opinion even if their position is toxic, divisive and disruptive of an entire culture.

These are the people who overlook human nature and try to socially engineer acceptable behavior. Mostly on some one else that is less enlightened than our political, academic and social "elites."

[   ]  Liberal democrats lack "core beliefs" and thus must struggle to build a "coalition" of anybody willing to support their leaders and advance their agendas. In return for this support, liberal democrats often confer legitimacy on loonies and sometimes elevate them to positions of great power.

[   ]   All political parties, by definition, are somewhat corrupt as that is part of human nature. Some men will establish themselves as leaders and take the lion's share of the common assets. The way of the world. However, liberal democrats have raised the practice of milking special interests to an art form.

[   ]   Liberal democrats say one thing and do another. Their guiding motto almost always seems to be "Do as we say, don't do as we do." Which gives rise to limousine liberals telling hard working citizens that they should sacrifice for the cause while those who have already power, prestige or money continue to live a life of protected luxury. Tax shelters were not conceived to shelter the working poor. They were designed so the wealthy could talk convincingly about the need to raise taxes without having to pay their fair share. I have always found it amazing that it was not the democrats that promote civil rights and employ ethnic and racial minorities in high positions. But then again, the toxic liberal democrat political machine knows how to buy off so-called community activists with "walking around money" or fancy titles. Can anybody remember what the function of a "Judas Goat is?"

[   ]   Liberal democrats have allowed subversives to take over our educational system where they spread their doctrine to those who are naive and who will "go along to get their grades."  They have allowed subversives to insinuate themselves into our judicial system to nullify the law-making power of Congress so as to mold the rule of law from the bench while full well knowing that a similar law would never pass through Congress.

[   ]   Liberal democrats have watched Marxists, Communists, Anarchists and our enemies to take over the ecological movement and to use our own freedoms and laws against us.

Ask yourself how many Africans and others have been killed by Malaria, a disease that was almost eradicated worldwide by the use of the pesticide DDT. A useful, life-saving tool that was banned based on political considerations and junk science. Just as we have seen the peaceniks rally against the use of clean, cheap nuclear power for decades thus ensuring our dependence on foreign energy and allowing barbaric regimes with their Middle-Age customs to make demands on our nation. Holding us hostage to our ever increasing need for energy. Look between your feet, another clean source of reliable energy is available simply by digging a well and installing a heat-pump. Geothermal energy is always available, regardless of sunshine or wind.

[   ]   Liberal democrats are trying to foist the concept of global warming upon us for the sole purpose of increasing their political control and engaging in wealth re-distribution: from the public's pockets to their pockets. The mere notion that man can reverse climate change is about as believable as the notion that man can stop the earth's tectonic plates from moving to eliminate earthquakes. But the nicest thing about this scam is that it will be years until it is proven to be a scam. By then, the damage will be done.

[   ]   Liberal democrats do not learn from history as they individually hope to make their mark on the world. Cycles, patterns and repetitive situations elude them as they are not looking for solutions, they are looking to look good while they increase their prestige, power and personal profits.

Believe it or not, what I have just written was not the original subject of this blog entry.

It started out to be an expression of my outrage at the antics of former-President Jimmy Carter. The man who shared the Nobel Peace Prize (The non-scientific prize based on political or humanitarian concerns) with famed terrorist Yasser Arafat. A man who typifies what I believe to be the liberal democrat. A man whose Administration resulted in Islamo-fascism and the rise of North Korea as a nuclear power. A man who lacked the courage to defend the United States when our embassy was placed under siege and American citizens held hostage. A man who easily will be judged by history as the worst American president of the modern era.

An example of Carter's logic...

In spite of Administration requests not to interfere with the ongoing Israel-Palestinian peace process, Jimmy Carter, acting as a private individual supported by his foundation, decided to open talks with the top Hamas leader and known terrorist. In arranging this meeting, Carter conferred prestige and honor upon this common thug as it was Carter that traveled to see the Hamas leader -- a widely accepted signal of respect and power in the Middle East. So let's take a moment to examine this "historic" meeting.

As reported by the AFP...

"Carter:  Hamas open to peace deal with Palestinian backing"

"Former US president Jimmy Carter said on Monday the Islamist Hamas movement told him it would recognize Israel's right to live in peace if a deal is reached and approved by a Palestinian vote."

"Carter made the comments following two meetings in Damascus with exiled Hamas chief Khaled Meshaal that angered Israel and the United States, which consider the movement a terror group despite its victory in 2006 elections."

"'They said that they would accept a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders if approved by Palestinians and that they would accept the right of Israel to live as a neighbor, next door, in peace,' Carter told the Israeli Council on Foreign Relations think-tank."

"Hamas would agree to such a peace deal, yet to be negotiated, provided it is 'submitted to Palestinians for their overall approval even though Hamas might disagree with some terms of the agreement,' Carter said in Jerusalem."

It was unclear whether Hamas would require the referendum to include Palestinian refugees living outside the West Bank and Gaza but Carter said the group would also accept an agreement negotiated by a unity government made up of Hamas and the Fatah movement of moderate Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas.

Nothing substantive but words were exchanged...

While in the Middle East Carter met with senior Hamas leaders from the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, and Syria, but was unable to secure a ceasefire or a prisoner exchange for an Israeli soldier seized by Gaza militants in 2006.

The terrorist then insured that the deal would never be made by setting unacceptable conditions...

"Hours after Carter spoke Meshaal told a press conference in Damascus that Hamas would not recognize the Jewish state and would insist on the right of some 4.5 million Palestinian refugees to return to Israel."

The Hamas charter calls for the complete annihilation of Israel and allowing that many Palestinians into Israel would so dilute its Jewish (5.3 million) population as to be tantamount to the demographic eradication of Israel.

"'We accept a Palestinian state within the June 4 1967 borders with Jerusalem as its capital -- a sovereign state without settlements -- as well as the right of Palestinian refugees to return, but without recognition of Israel,' he said."

"Meshaal ruled out any direct talks with Israel but said Hamas was ready to hold discussions with US officials and praised Carter for his 'audacious and courageous' decision to meet with the movement's leaders."

Carter overlooks a simple fact...

"'It seems to me that what Hamas needs to do is pretty clear. Renounce violence would be a good step towards showing you actually want peace,' US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice told reporters in Manama."

"'Carter is detached from reality... He talks to Khaled Meshaal and tries to reach an agreement, while the murderous attacks continue against the state of Israel,' Deputy Prime Minister Shaul Mofaz said."

What do you say to terrorists who are killing your people?

"'The problem is not that I met with Hamas in Syria, the problem is that Israel and the United States refuse to meet these people,' the 2002 Nobel Peace Prize laureate and architect of the 1979 Egypt-Israel peace treaty, said."

No show of good faith...

"Hamas seized control of the Gaza Strip in June after ousting forces loyal to Abbas. Since then Israel has carried out near-daily raids on the coastal strip as Palestinian militants have launched rockets at southern Israel."

"Carter said Hamas rejected his proposal for a unilateral, 30-day ceasefire, saying 'they couldn't trust Israel to follow up by lessening attacks on Gaza and in the West Bank.'"

The attacks on Israel are coming from Hamas in Gaza and the West Bank and any attacks on Palestinian positions is purely defensive to attempt to stop daily rocket attacks aimed at Israeli citizens. Unfortunately, Hamas hides in heavily-populated neighborhoods and fights behind women and children. If women and children die as a result of Hamas' actions, it is then presented to the world as a sign of further Israeli aggression.

Proof positive that Hamas does not want peace...

"So I told them (Hamas) don't wait for reciprocation, just do it unilaterally. This will bring a lot of credit to you around the world for doing a humane thing. They turned me down."

So what's with the 10-Year Peace Agreement...

"Hamas is willing to accept a temporary Palestinian state in the West Bank, Gaza Strip and eastern sections of Jerusalem in exchange for a 10-year truce with Israel, Ismail Haniyeh, prime minister of the Hamas-led Palestinian government, announced today."

"But top Hamas officials and spokesmen for the terror group told WND the truce was meant to show some flexibility to the international community. They said Hamas' goal of destroying Israel had not changed, and that the terror group has a 10-year plan to build a large army and defeat the Jewish state."

"We are with liberating any inch of Palestine, but we will not close the door for the next generation, because the weak don't always stay weak, and the strong won't stay strong," Haniyeh said today in a televised address, explaining his 10-year truce proposal."

Lessons from the Koran... "The ten-year truce is a ruse."

"A particularly famous early hudna was the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah between Muhammad and the Quraysh tribe, ending with Muhammad marching on Mecca along with 10000 men, two years after the hudna was signed, and taking over the Quraysh."

"According to Umdat as-Salik, a medieval summary of Shafi'i jurisprudence, hudnas with a non-Muslim enemy should be limited to 10 years: 'if Muslims are weak, a truce may be made for ten years if necessary, for the Prophet made a truce with the Quraysh for that long, as is related by Abu Dawud" ('Umdat as-Salik, o9.16).

Thus, by examining Muslim history, we can easily see that the "truce" would actually be called for the purpose of moving your troops closer to the enemy and amassing more weaponry.

And about the original conflict...

In 1948 the United Nations proposed the creation of two states in the disputed Middle East region: one for the Jews and one for the Arabs. The Jews got almost no land and natural resources compared to the significantly larger surrounding Arab lands. The Jews accepted the partition plan -- but the Arabs immediately declared war on the Jews. Those Arabs in the region who were warned to leave the area by their Arab leaders to avoid becoming caught in the crossfire are those that seek their "right of return." Thus the lies about Israeli aggression and expansionism are exposed as lies. The Jews have always welcomed peaceful Arabs to live in their midst and many Arabs are Israeli citizens. However, they will never accept the militant millions who want to simply displace the modern State of Israel for another Arab-controlled theocracy.

What can YOU do?

From my research, it is easy to see that the aggression rests entirely with the Palestinians who could end this affair with a simple command: be peaceful!

However, due to the efforts of useful idiots like Jimmy Carter the conflict will continue to rage out of control until a strong Israeli leader (like Benjamin Netanyahu) decides enough is enough and offers a clear challenge: stop the attacks or we will completely and totally destroy the threat -- including any and all neighbors who feel that they must come to the aid of the Palestinians.

We need to move beyond our acceptance of unacceptable behavior and deal with Islam as we would any sworn enemy. Change your ways or suffer the consequences. The so-called "Religion of Peace" needs to reform now. Acquiring and attempting to use nuclear weapons will only hasten the process... with the world once again bemoaning a catastrophe which could have been averted by the civilized societies of this shared planet.

Recognize that the Jews have absolutely nothing to do with the Muslim attacks on Hindus in Kashmir and Bali. Or the attacks on Buddhist monks in Thailand. Or against Christians in the Philippines and in Darfur. For more examples of Muslim actions, you may want to visit The Religion of Peace. Or visit our State Department's "Significant Terrorist Incidents, 1961-2003: A Brief Chronology." Count how many incidents can be traced to Islamic practices.

As for fixing the United States, let us start with legislation that removes all perks, privileges and protections from former Presidents who travel abroad in contravention of United States foreign policy. And add a rider forcing all donations to Presidential Libraries or foundations to be fully and completely disclosed. If a former official of the United States engages with a foreign power in any capacity and fails to file a suitable declaration and registration as an agent of a foreign government, let them be subject to governmental sanctions.

Let us develop a new class of pragmatic leaders in both the democrat and Republican party. Leaders who will put the interests of their nation first.

Demand that all incoming legislators take suitable history and civics classes (complete with a test) before they can be formally seated.

History will teach you that there are some things which cannot be compromised and that all of the rhetoric and promises in the world will never be enough to dissuade evil men from trying to build their own nations.

Demand that our elected officials and candidates promote the United States first. It is time to re-establish patriotic nationalism.

Buy American.

Do not vote for any candidate or current politician who is willing to subvert the safety, security, sovereignty and economic strength of the United States or limit an individual's right of self-defense for their personal philosophy, power, prestige or profits.
