President Bush Discusses Comprehensive Immigration Reform in Glynco, Georgia.

President George Bush has framed the argument over immigration in a speech given at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center located in Glynco, Georgia. It should be noticed that the speech was given in a friendly government-run facility and the venue did not lend itself to any type of questioning or comment. Let us look at some of the things the President said… and some of the questions that should be asked.

Stupid Is As Stupid Does: Speaker Pelosi on Climate Change

According to a story by Geir Moulson, writing for the Associated Press, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has personally confirmed the existence that “climate change is a reality.” What bugs me, is that this dimwitted San Francisco liberal spent the taxpayer’s money on a trip to Greenland to find out that weather can change. She could have opened the door, looked out and made the same pronouncement without ever leaving home.

A GREAT MEMORIAL DAY! - WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?

Here’s hoping that you enjoyed your Memorial Day yesterday and remembered the troops and others who have sacrificed everything to allow Americans to enjoy the freedom of “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.” Unlike much of the world, we allow those with divergent, and sometimes abhorrent, views to speak without official consequences. And unlike much of the world, we are comfortably ensconced in an environment which is relatively safe with few physical worries.

GLOBAL WARMING = MONEY, POWER & SEX

I have come to believe that global warming is here to stay. No, not the phenomenon of global warming and man’s influence on nature; that area of concern is highly suspect and best left to those research scientists who are free from hidden agendas related to securing funding for their pet projects. 

I’m speaking of the global warming that can be turned into money, power and sex.

THE SCOOTER LIBBY CASE: A CLASSIC GOVERNMENT SCREWUP

According to Associated Press reports, “Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald said that former White House aide I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby has shown no remorse for corrupting the legal system and deserves to spend 2–1/2 to 3 years in prison for obstructing the CIA leak investigation.”

In my humble opinion, Libby should be freed on the grounds of massive governmental stupidity.

CHALLENGE THE LIBERALS: GRAPHIC EVIDENCE OF REAL TORTURE METHODS

The Pentagon has recently declassified and released an al-Qaeda “torture manual” purportedly found in an al-Qaeda safehouse in Iraq.

For those who waffle on-and-on about so-called United States torture methods such as sleep deprivation, cold rooms, disorienting sounds and the dreaded waterboarding, I strongly suggest that you view this document.

OBSCURE SUPREME COURT PROPOSED RULE CHANGE UPSETS BIG BUSINESS & SPECIAL INTERESTS

The United States Supreme Court has published a “Request for Public Comment” with respect to its internal rules of procedure. While most of the rules are procedural and involve things like establishing a word limit for a brief that is filed with the Court or the cover color of certain briefs, one proposed change has upset big business and special interests everywhere.

ILLEGAL ALIENS ARE NOT UNDOCUMENTED WORKERS...THEY ARE USING FORGED DOCUMENTS STOLEN FROM LAW-ABIDING CITIZENS

It is particularly galling that the proposed immigration bill contains an amnesty provision which overlooks felony fraud, document forgery, perjury committed when applying for official documents and other financial transactions and tax evasion. Something not available to law-abiding citizens who may have committed the very same crimes.

WORTHLESS FEEL GOOD LEGISLATION: HOUSE VOTES TO SANCTION OPEC

In one of the most blatant displays of self-serving “feel good” legislation, designed to impress voters rather than assisting in solving the problem of rising gasoline prices, the House of Representatives has voted to give the government permission to sue OPEC over oil production quotas.
