There is little or no doubt in my mind that Robert Mueller is as corrupt or more corrupt than former FBI Director James Comey …
Consider the fact that because of Mueller’s former position with the DOJ and FBI, and his personal friendship with a number of those who need investigation, he should have recused himself before being appointed as the Special Counsel investigating possible Russian interference with the 2016 presidential election, potential collusion between Trump and the Russians, AND ANYTHING ELSE HE WANTS TO INVESTIGATE as per Acting Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. Let us not overlook that James Comey leaked classified or presidentially-privileged materials to a friend who leaked them to the New York Times.
"I asked a friend of mine to share the content of a memo with the reporter, I didn’t do it myself for a variety of reasons, but I asked him to because I thought that might prompt the appointment of a special counsel,"
Not so coincidently Comey, Rosenstein, and Mueller have a history together which should have precluded Mueller’s appointment. And, not so coincidently it appears that Mueller’s staff is comprised not of non-partisan investigators and prosecutors – but rabid, virulent anti-Trump activists who have condemned themselves with both their own words and deeds.
Now we have a situation where Tony Podesta, a top democrat operative and major lobbyist with dubious associations and issues – and the brother of former president Bill Clinton’s Chief of Staff and the chairman of Hillary Clinton's 2016 U.S. presidential campaign John Podesta – is apparently being given another one of those Clinton get-out-of-jail cards.
Tony Podesta Lobbied For Russia’s ‘Uranium One’ And Did Not File As A Foreign Agent
Tony Podesta’s lobbying firm, the Podesta Group, represented the Russian-owned company Uranium One during former President Barack Obama’s administration and did not register under the Foreign Agents Registration Act, The Daily Caller News Foundation has determined. <Source>
You remember Uranium One, where the FBI Director Mueller and the DOJ had specific evidence of Russian-linked bribery, money laundering, and political corruption and delayed telling the relevant people who vet deals for their impact on national security until after the deal was consummated.
Obama-era Russian Uranium One deal: What to know
The FBI had looked into the agreement and uncovered that some Russian nuclear industry officials were engaged in nefarious dealings, which included extortion, bribery and kickbacks, The Hill reported. Evidence of wrongdoing by Vadim Mikerin, the Russian official overseeing Putin’s nuclear expansion in the U.S. who was eventually sentenced to prison, was discovered by the FBI before the deal was approved, according to The Hill
Robert Mueller, the special counsel leading the probe into alleged Russian interference in the election, was the head of the FBI when it investigated Rosatom officials’ extortion and corruption.
And the investigation was led by then-Assistant FBI Director Andrew McCabe, then-U.S. Attorney Rod Rosenstein, The Hill reported. Rosenstein is now the deputy attorney general; McCabe, until last month, was the deputy director of the FBI. <Source>
Setting up Manafort…
Paul Manafort was Trump’s campaign chairman from March to August 2016. For this, his life has been scrutinized by the government, the media, and nearly destroyed in the process. A man who has not been convicted of a crime, yet sits in solitary confinement in the hopes that he will reveal or manufacturer something that can bring down a President.
Mueller reportedly grants Tony Podesta immunity to testify against Paul Manafort
Special counsel Robert Mueller has reportedly given a key Democratic operative immunity to testify against former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort.
According to Tucker Carlson, speaking Thursday evening on his Fox News program, Mr. Mueller has offered immunity to Tony Podesta, founder of the Podesta Group and brother of former Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta. Mr. Carlson cited “two sources” whom he did not name.
Both Mr. Manafort and the Podesta Group worked on a campaign named the European Centre for a Modern Ukraine, and most of the charges against Mr. Manafort relate to his work there and whether he laundered money for Russian oligarchs, worked as a foreign agent, disclosed his income and status, and related issues. Something stinks in the DOJ/FBI investigation being run out of the Office of Special Counsel. President Trump is afraid to take action lest that be seen as “obstruction of justice,” a reason for impeachment. Attorney Jeff Sessions is a wimpy and gutless incompetent who appears to be biding his time and riding out the storm. The leadership at DOJ and the FBI appears to be rabidly anti-Trump. And, a rather gutless Congress is hosting a dog and pony show lest their individual peccadilloes are leaked to the media.
All of the Clinton gang are at risk for prosecutable felonies if they cannot kill the GOP’s ability to investigate Obama-era corruption.
There is only one thing left that can be done. Strengthen the majority in Congress, both the House and the Senate, in the hopes that there is strength in numbers and that the cowardice and corruption of our legislators can be contained.
We are so screwed.
