Here is “The Donald” saying that he is not controlled by the special interests and will do what’s right for the people …
Donald Trump: I Pay My Own Way, Unlike Bush, Walker or Clinton
Donald Trump said there was no cap in the amount of money he would be willing to put into his campaign for the Republican nomination for president if his message continues to resonate with voters.
Speaking at a free-wheeling press conference following a rally in this city east of Des Moines, Mr. Trump also attacked Republican rivals Jeb Bush andScott Walker and Democrat Hillary Clinton with accusations that they were beholden to wealthy donors.
Mr. Trump, a real-estate developer and television personality, has almost entirely self-financed his campaign so far.
“Bush is controlled by those people. Walker is controlled by those people. Hillary Clinton is controlled by those people. Trump has none of those people,” he said Saturday afternoon. “I’m not controlled. I do what’s right for the people.”
Unfortunately, the truth is that Trump the real estate developer and investor was one of those special interests and sought special perks and privileges from politicians, the unions, and others. To think that he does not have people to whom he owes professional and political favors is unbelievable.
The last time I heard a celebrity Republican say he was a conservative, too rich to be corrupted by politics, and who would represent all the people …
And The Arnold turned out to be thoroughly corrupt – falling all over himself to be a progressive socialist democrat – even to the extent of commuting the sentence of a murderous young thug whose father happened to be a major democrat legislator. Unapologetic, and claiming that’s what you do for friends, Arnold was more into fundraising and feathering his own nest than governing. Leaving his office to be managed by a long-time democrat activist/lesbian who served the re-called Governor as his Chief of Staff. Here is a guy that said he would stand for the people and betrayed everyone. If you look closely at the portrait, you will see a blue smudge where the artist quickly painted out California’s First Lady after the douchebag cheated and had a son with his maid. But, his greatest sell-out was giving California its highest tax rate while pursuing the global warming nonsense that had productive individuals and companies deserting California for more favorable climates.
Bottom line …
Watch not the words, but the actions. Learn from history. Once a huckster … always a huckster.
