With all of Hillary Clinton’s problems: the hidden health issues, the continual lying, the corruption, the cronyism and her Marxist philosophy; one wonders if Hillary Clinton really is a viable presidential candidate -- relying on nothing more than name recognition, cronyism, gender-based support, and political dirty tricks to move her forward?
Is the Clinton Foundation laundering money for foreign sources seeking to influence domestic politics and keep money flowing from the United States Treasury?
Is Hillary Clinton Banking On Foreign Money For 2016 Run?
A few media outlets are actually prying into the fundraising habits of the Clinton Foundation. The scrutiny could affect Hillary's 2016 presidential campaign.
Meanwhile, Fox News says the foundation "reportedly is seeing an increase in contributions from foreign governments after ending a self-imposed ban on such donations, raising new ethical questions" as Hillary prepares for a possible 2016 presidential run.
Six years ago, when Hillary was the Democratic presidential frontrunner, we wrote about "Clinton's filthy lucre." We pointed to a New York Times story that "asked whether Clinton's foundation donations could be misused to 'circumvent campaign finance laws intended to limit political influence,'" and documented cash pouring into the campaign from wealthy businessmen overseas and foreign governments.
Like many others, we saw something shady in "Fujianese immigrant dishwashers and trinket sellers" from Manhattan's Chinatown "spontaneously" coughing up "$1,000 or $2,000 apiece for Clinton's presidential campaign." Those examples are just from the relatively recent past.
For the record, foreign campaign donations are illegal. The Clintons can try to skirt the law by funneling cash through their foundation, but the effect is the same: Foreign money corrupts American politics.
Will the democrats continue to use whitewater to whitewash the previous scandals and characterize them as “old news?”
Hillary Derangement Syndrome by Michael Tomasky -- Are Republicans really going to try to damage Hillary Clinton by digging up old non-scandals no one even remembers? They’ll do damage, all right, says Michael Tomasky, but not to Clinton.
Do any conservatives really believe that if Hillary Clinton does run for president, Americans will care a bit about the old stories from the 1990s? Two commentators I respect seem to think so. My colleague David Frum, in a column about Clinton’s 2016 chances that elsewhere makes several thoughtful points, seems to believe that the old Clinton White House issues could rise again. MSNBC analyst Jimmy Williams, across from whom I sat on the sound stage Monday, invoked Filegate and something else. Conservatives have spent two decades trying to destroy Clinton. They’ve only helped make her the most popular woman in America. And if they keep at it, they’re going to help make her president.
If you are old enough to think back, please do so now with me. Part the mists of time. I feel like that first ghost taking Scrooge back to when he was the vital young man who’d been completely buried. Remember the Rose Law Firm? Remember the alleged billing scandals? And then the supposed commodities trading scandal? That was a great one.
Just mentioning these nothings feels like opening a door to a section of the house that you haven’t been using for the last 20 years, since someone died, like Olivier in Rebecca. There are torn and frayed little pieces of furniture, draped in drop cloth, spider webs emanating from their corners. Whitewater was far and away the biggest of these utterly phony stories, consuming years and many millions of investigative taxpayer dollars and besotting initially even The New York Times (I bet the Times won’t get fooled again). And I would bet that if you asked Americans about it today, no more than 20 percent would have the foggiest idea what it was. No, check that. It would be 33 percent. The same, reliable 33 percent who say Barack Obama was created in a laboratory in socialist Zimbabwe.
Those days and those Clinton stories—Vince Foster, the travel office, all of those ridiculous accusations—were the ones on which the modern right-wing agitprop machine made its bones. Read the rest of the story at Hillary Derangement Syndrome - The Daily Beast
You will notice that it is a well-tested tactic that the Clinton’s never respond to allegations, sending forth their surrogates to do battle for them. The last time that a Clinton was deposed under oath, he lied and was impeached, but not tried, for his falsehoods. He also lost his law licence. The old adage, where there is smoke, there is fire is particularly applicable to the Clintons as they bob and weave their way through a deliberately tangled web of their own making.
Bottom line …
Personally I think Hillary may announce her candidacy, but ultimately will withdraw. And, I believe that it is possible that the Clinton Foundation is running a political-financial scam involving foreign money which will then be used to make the Clintons “political kingmakers,” trading newly-laundered funds for political influence that can be used to feather the nests of their cronies, “special contributors,” and insure that they live like royalty for the rest of their lives. A modern fairy tale courtesy of the Internal Revenue Service and the Federal Elections Commission.
Unless we overcome progressive socialist democrats in the upcoming election, we are facing the de facto third term of Barack Obama – a man sure to look at the Clintons and start-up his own money-spinning foundation. After all, Barack Obama owns the technology and the mailing lists used in his campaign – never turning them over to the Democrat National Committee.
Political corruption is endemic in the nation and it will be our downfall. No more Kennedys, Nixons, Bushes, or Clintons. We have had enough of their cronyism and shenanigans.
